"You are safe in that cage, you are happy in that cage." he repeated, still trying to make eye contact to strength his empathy. Edward sat back down at his chair, and smiled at his new human. Not quite sure what to expect, he would just see what his human decides to do. Dutch just slowly backed away from the newcomer, not quite sure why, but he just didn't feel right near the new person in the cage.

"Hai." Broby spoke calmly to his new captor. "Let me out of this cage and I *might* not snap your neck." He spoke again, rattling the cage bars intensely.
