Duke had been up for a few hours now. Early to bed and early to rise had always been a popular saying of his and today was no different. His morning routine was a simple one at best, get dressed at 6, wash at 7 and then eat around the 8:30 mark. It wasn't often that he was ever interrupted from his schedule and even less so when it was a group meeting.

The announcement from the speaker system in his room took him momentarily by surprise but he continued on eating the boiled egg he had prepared. Duke muttered to himself, "Damn robo-girls, what's wrong with a good old nudie mag?" 5 Minutes later breakfast was finished and his plate was tossed into the sink with the rest of his crockery. Really the sink was just a formality to him. When you live on the road, you don't waste water on things that barely need it. Old habits died hard for Duke.

Strolling to the exit of his apartment, Duke picked up his cane standing next to the door, and his treasured John Deere Cap. Placing it firmly on his head, he opened the door and ambled out. Duke did not bother to close his apartment door fully, after all, there was no-one in the Rogue X building that would want to steal from him and anyways, he didn't have anything really worth taking. Dukes thoughts briefly drifted to the monkey but he had no worries, "Aghh, what the hell. If he goes in there he might even do the washing up for me."
