Farming and Laning are simple concepts that take time to master.

Farming grants you gold input by killing enemy minions. You try to score the last hit on a minion, the killing blow, as the killing blow decides who gets the gold. Keep in mind that about 10-15 minions are worth one champion kill, so if you have 30 minions and the enemy kills you once, you are still very likely ahead of them in gold.

Laning is exactly as implied: You go into a lane (top, mid, bot) and stay in that lane. The "laning phase" is the part of the game where everyone is focusing on farming minions and harassing their enemies. Some champions do better as farmers (such as most marksmen), gaining gold in the early game to increase their supreme late game power. Others do better as harassers (such as most assassins), attacking the enemy and stopping them from getting gold by farming. The laning phase ends when the first line of towers are destroyed and people start wandering the map for global objectives, such as dragon and baron, that give gold and buffs to the whole team.

Also, fyi, buffs are things that improve your stats, such as an armour buff improves your armour, and so on.

This might seem dumb, but what roles are there? I never have played anything similar to League of Legends, but I had played multiplayer in Battlefield 4 and Team Fortress 2. Is the roles similar to the ones in Battlefield 4 and Team Fortress 2?As for 'laning and farming', are they similar to spawn camping in Battlefield 4 and Team Fortress 2?

The roles are twofold.
Lane Roles: Top (Top lane), Mid (Mid lane), Bot (Bot lane), Jungle (Exactly as implied, though you shouldn't start on this role.)
Character Roles: Mage, Fighter, Assassin, Tank, Support, ADC/Marksman, etc.

Most often it's a Bruiser top, Tank or Assassin jungle, Assassin or Mage mid, Marksman bot, Support bot.

Mages are most often known for their burst potential: How much damage they can do in three seconds or less. They hit you hard once and then wait to charge their abilities and hit you again. They also sometimes have crowd control. (Explained further below.)

Tanks are most often known for being very heavily armoured and having a lot of crowd control. (Crowd control stuns, slows, or otherwise incapacitates an enemy so that your team can kill them or escape from danger.)

Fighters are a hybrid: They have the defensive stats of tanks but the damage of marksmen/mages. They aren't superior to tanks at dealing with damage or marksmen at dealing damage, but mix the best qualities of both to have some survivability and damage output.

Assassins do exactly as implied: Get in, kill a target, get out. They're like mages but they capitalize specifically on squishy or important targets, like marksmen.

Supports exist solely to help their team by giving buffs, heals, using crowd controls to slow or stop the enemy, and so on. They're most often paired with marksmen in the bot lane, as marksmen have fragile early games, but a lot of late game damage output.

Marksmen are also often known as AD Carries (Attack Damage carries). They start the game out weak but become powerful late game with extreme damage outputs that no other class can match, however, they're glass cannons, and need a team to protect them.

Over time these intricacies should become pretty simple to understand. For instance: Nasus is a tank-fighter, he goes in top lane, but can jungle. Vladimir is a burst mage, he goes in mid, but sometimes goes top as he also has a lot of health which makes him a solid fighter. Vayne is a marksman through and through, and goes in bot lane with Soraka, who can heal and give mana to her allies.
Hellis said I think a important part in this is to remember that the lass is human, and Is likely unable to comprehend just how fucked up things are around her due to her selfish, seemingly entirely self serving ways.

Regardless of her comprehension, it does not exempt her from criticism. Criticism that is fully valid in the face of shutting down charities out of personal greed and sending her verbal assault squad in the journalist media to attack anyone who points out just how wrong she is.

A big part of this isn't specifically Zoe Quinn: It's the fact that she's so easily twisted the games journalist media to her side because she has a vagina.

Hellis said I personally dislike the womans (Anitas) sensationalist vibe alot of the time, but if we want our lovely media to ever be taken seriusly we need people like her.

No, we don't need conmen. We need more people like Jimquisition and Extra Credits: People who point out real problems without having to manufacture them and explaining potential solutions to those problems instead of spending their entire 20+ minute long video telling the audience how sexist and evil they are if they have a penis.

Hellis said Criticism, as stinging as it can be, is vital for any media. It is part of a artform and mediums growth.

You missed a word there. Constructive criticism is vital for any media. Random criticism that has no basis in logic or reason has no place but to distract us from real issues. A lack of female protagonists is a real issue that needs resolving. The fact that you can kill women--like you can kill anyone else--in Hitman, is not a real issue. The issue is Anita argues from two points: That all women are victims of misogyny, and that all men are misogynists if they don't agree with her. If you don't believe me, just watch her Feminist Frequency videos. She rattles on about how pretty well every game in existence is a male power fantasy, despite many games letting you play as a female protagonist, or are games that aren't of the violence-filled adrenaline pumping shooty variety.

Hellis said Anita, for all her faults, live a life full of death threats becouse gamers are a easily offended bunch.

Everyone is an easily offended bunch. Not just gamers. Also, she lives a life full of death threats because she's essentially telling the entire gaming demographic, male or female, that their hobby makes them sexist misogynist bigots who will kill and murder and rape in real life because they ran over a woman in Grand Theft Auto.

Yes, she does actually make the claim that video games will make you into a sexist rapist. She makes the exact same claim that Jack Thompson did, only instead of murder, it's rape.

Hellis said Imagine that, you critize something for a easily recognized pattern and WHAM, you are being called every terrible thing in the book and wished death upon.

... Like every other person in history ever, regardless of their gender? Fuck man, this shit's been going on all the way back to Galileo. This is absolutely not new. You attack something that many millions like, and out of those many millions, some odd one percent of them can and will send you death threats, either to troll you or to vent their aggression towards you. Period. To proclaim that the majority of the gaming community actually sends her death threats is ludicrous on the face of it and you know it. It's extremists and fifteen year olds doing this, not the general gaming community who just wants to be left alone to Mario jump into the next world.

Hellis said This is a far bigger problem then any third wave feminist (Not that I can with a straight face ever call Anita for one.) can ever provide.

Third wave feminism has...
--Shut down charities.
--Further poisoned and corrupted the entirety of Gaming Journalism.
--Attempted to corrupt the new atheism movement and partially succeed (Atheism+)
--Infiltrated and poisoned the general media.
--DDOS websites. (Rarely. Usually the Tumblrites do this.)
--Sent death threats to perceived threats. (ex: Thunderf00t.)

Angry gamers have... Um...
--...Stopped buying games?
--Sent death threats they've never acted on.

Yeah. Those evil gamers and their evil gaming. How dare they... Have an opinion. That doesn't mesh with what feminists think.

Hellis said They (The Feminists) exist becouse people like those anonymous, degrading people exist.

Feminists exist to improve the lives of women. Real feminists, like Malala Yousafzai, who challenge real institutionalized sexism, immediately have my respect and backing. Malala was shot in the head for wanting to have an education. This hasn't stopped her from recovering in a hospital and continuing to push forward through educating herself and those around her. She uplifts people. That is real, good work. Uplifting, creating, constructing, improving. All Anita has done is whine about how gaming is sexist. She has in no way attempted to improve gaming. None of her criticism is constructive, she offers no useful advice or solutions that could be reasonable acted upon.

All Anita has done is spread at best misinformation and lies at worst. She's one of the worst examples of feminism on the planet... Period. Zoe Quinn is the same. I'll bet a big reason the Zoe Quinn situation is exploding is precisely because people are angry that she shut down a charity that was supposed to create a game featuring a female protagonist, created by women... Because feminism. Even attempts to create more female protagonists get shut down because lolfeminism. Anita supporting Zoe Quinn in this is no surprise: Anita hasn't bothered to try and inspire the creation of more female protagonists either.

Neither of these women in any way, shape, or form, do fuck all in improving the state of gaming. That's why people hate them. It's not because they're women and have an opinion. There are plenty of women on the Internet who have an opinion and nobody (save that nasty incurable 1% I mentioned earlier) harasses them. The worst they might get is "lol ur hawt", which is a compliment if nothing else.

Hellis said And, despite her many, many flaws in her presenstation, Anita has improved alot. She still needs to open up for sensible debate however. Hell I found myself agreeing to some of her points as of late.

No. She really hasn't. The only construable improvement one could note is that she's had more time to gather more misinformation. Even then, her videos only release on a schedule of... Oh... One every eight months? She refuses to respond to criticism, often labeling it sexist, and spits in the face of actual progress.

Anita is your enemy towards more inclusiveness for women. Not your friend. Same goes for Zoe Quinn.

Excuse me while I go wrestle a bear now.

((PS: There are few things that beat hearing this as a mix of English peasants with pitchforks and Welsh longbowmen attempt to hold off a very angry horde of 6'4" Scotsmen wearing nothing but kilts and berserker fury that seems to give no apparent shits for arrows.))
Soon... Two more days to the weekend.
The Ferret Guy here. Mid, top, marksman are my best roles, but when I play I like a variety of roles.
@Everyone (Especially Grunts): I added Light Machine Guns and Submachine Guns to the custom weapon selection. If you want, you can exchange your current weapon to a new one for free, along with weapon mod changes. It's been pointed out to me repeatedly that these things are missing. NOT ANYMORE!

Stuff like grenade launchers though will still be custom mod territory.

Matthew upgrade:Upgrade mutation: Feather BonesNew Mutation: Muscle StimulusNew Unique Mutation: WIPNegative Mutation: ?Must have mutation: In Forma, Quod Puritas:

Feather Bones
--Gas sacs (Rank 2): An evolution on the existing mutation, gas sacs are found all over the body, though most prominently in the limbs. These small sacs create small bumps on the skin that can be seen by the naked eye though can be hidden by clothing. They draw air from the lungs and store it, allowing the Listener in question to fall slower, jump even higher, or even make course adjustments in flight. At this point the Listener could jump to the top of a two storey building. Repeated use and abuse can easily fatigue the user, however. (Even faster movement, greater jump height, can survive greater falls, moderately improve defense while airborne.) (Mutation Effect: Visible bumps on the skin where sacs are located, unusually deep breathes with unusually shallow exhales from time to time.)

Random Mutation
Impulsive Paranoia: Mathew will sometimes twitch or spasm uncontrollable when faced with danger. This can sometimes save him from harm with an instinctive dodge, and sometimes ruin a perfectly good shot with a firearm. (Sometimes beneficial: Instinctive Dodging. Sometimes negative: Panic shots.) (Mutation Effect: Twitchy in combat.)
Heyitsjiwon said Hmm, what happens if I upgrade HE Training more? More explosives? Can I make bombs o.o?

Suitcase Explosives. As in, the kind that level city blocks.
Raen Elvarasi said What would the Chameleon Upgrade be?

Wall crawling, likely. The ability to stick to any surface.
Jorick said Nathaniel's upgrades are as follows.Upgrade Synaptic ParasiteAdd Charming Aura (this is cumulative with the diplomacy bonus of Too Innocent To Kill, right?)Custom mutation - Nathaniel's body, having experienced its first real life or death combat with a gun, has adapted to improve his odds of survival. The muscles and nerves throughout his body have changed and become better than they were mere days ago, and even his brain has gotten a bit of a boost. Nathaniel's reaction time has improved greatly over that of the average human, to the point that he can start moving out of the way of an attack at almost the same instant as his opponent starts to move, and when he decides to attack without warning he is quick enough to almost always get the drop on his opponent. In addition, his hand eye coordination has improved and his hand and arms are far steadier than they used to be when holding a gun, which is a great boon to his accuracy in firing. (Bonus to reflexes and gun accuracy) (Mutation effect: The veins in Nathaniel's hands and arms now stand out very clearly and vividly through his skin, and they appear red instead of blue.)

Synaptic Parasite
--Familial Legacy (Rank 2): Parasites can now travel a small distance independently to attempt to sneak up on and take over a host. They can also be thrown akin to grenades, however the parasites are quite vulnerable. The parasite now also has a 'kill switch', if someone attempts to remove it from its host or on command of its master, it will snap the spinal column and kill its host. Parasites can now attempt to dig into the host body's memories to find secrets and transfer these memories telepathically to the Swarm mutant, but this also gives the host a chance to overpower the parasite for a few moments. (General upgrades.) (Mutation Effect: Cockroaches and other insects are drawn to the swarm host.)

The diplomatic bonuses are somewhat cumulative, yes, though designed for different purposes.

Pick either the amazing reaction times or the accuracy bonus.

Random Mutation
The Voices: Nathaniel has noticed that on occasion he can hear the voices and conversations of entities within the Shadow Zone, even miles away back in Bunker Chicago. The only issue is when this happens, he has no way to discern or filter the voices, and so thousands of voices ring through his mind, some louder than others. This can induce nose bleeds and cause him to hallucinate. On the other hand, this can also give him extremely valuable intelligence about what the enemy is about to do. (Mutation effect is clear) (Mutation Effect: While in this state he very visible sweats and his pupils envelope the entirety of his eyes.)
More to come later when I can get home from work and get some good ole' sleep.

Hmm...

*Scratches chin*
Just letting you all know system updates are on the way. For example: LMG and SMG main weapons for grunts. More on that later when I'm not at work.

I wouldn't worry about that, she doesn't post much OOC but Hedya has stuck with the game since the beginning ;p

She is like me. Randomly appears and disappears.
