That film looks absolutely bonkers omg haha!

I hope everyone has good luck this week! It looks like it's gonna be a hard one for a lot of you guys D:

Los Paraisos: Beach
“I’ve only seen other people play it before. It was probably just beginner’s luck that I managed to hit the ball at all, especially since I can’t move as I normally could because of the sand. It’s probably why it was so hard to reach the ball, if we were on firmer land I’m sure we could’ve trounced them!”

Yeah, yeah, that was why he sucked so much. The sand! Yep, that was it... oh who was he kidding. He sucked at most sports regardless of location. If someone was to make a montage of all the times he failed at sports in school, the thing would probably last for an hour or so. Tripping on hurdles, letting go of bats mid-swing, getting knocked out by footballs to the head. You name it, he had done it.

Still, he laughed along with her anyway. The gesture was nice enough, and he found her quite easy to talk to. She patted him on the back, which was a gesture he wouldn't usually mind in the slightest if it weren't for the sound of a loud slap occuring at exactly the same time. It threw him out for a split-second, the noise not matching up for what he felt, until he realised the sound was actually from elsewhere.

Ohhh of course, Amy. As if it could be anyone else, slapping was practically her signature move. With the man falling to the floor and her shout of "don't touch me!" it was fairly clear what probably just happened. But the look she gave Lucien...! What did he do?!

“I’m going to assume interfering right now would be a bad idea?”

"Yeah, you don't mess with Amy," Syed nodded, his voice low and his eyes locked on the cleric uneasily. "When she gets angry she gets pretty scary, we'll probably end up with matching slap marks. Although... you'd probably have better luck talking to her than I would." He shrugged, before looking back to Aria. "To be honest I didn't even catch why she's mad at him, did you?"

Lucien's reply was hilariously bad. Whatever the reason for Amy's anger, a joke probably wasn't the best response. Unless her "don't you fuckin' dare" was a don't you dare tell another joke, in which case he was screwed all the way to Artar's capital city. As such it probably wasn't the best idea to laugh at it.

He couldn't help it though. He tried, he really tried, but it was pointless. Lucien was a comedic genius as far as he was concerned, what choice did he have? He soon found himself once more breaking down into hysterical laughter, bending over double to support himself on his knees. Pork chop! Oh geez! "No, no, I shouldn't be laughing...!" he gasped, as he tried to get a hold of himself again. Nope, nope, okay. Okay he had it. Yeah. He took a deep breath, then a couple more. Okay he was good again now. Just don't think about it. Yeah.

Meanwhile Moira remained oblivious throughout. Most of the guys by now had lost interest in her, although she didn't really care either way. There was still one guy left, and the pair had now taken to comparing muscle sizes. Well as much as they could, considering Moira's weight was more than just muscle.

Los Paraisos: Beach
"Shit, shit, shit! How strong are you, lady!?"

Moira felt a bit dizzy as the rage drained from her. What? She... she popped the ball?! She didn't mean to hit it that hard, just hard enough to ground it before they could hit it back. Damn, damn, did she lose control? She needed to reign in her strength a bit more. Of course they'd be pissed off at her.

"That's... awesome!"

They were... complimenting her on it?!

Well HELL YEAH they should compliment her on it! She is awesome all around! "Yeah, I'm strong as balls, me," she said somewhat smugly, curling her arm up to show off her muscles. The gesture was a little lost on these men with their huge, bulging muscles, but she didn't care. She could probably beat them all at an arm wrestling match. At once. Yeeeeeaaaah.

Syed face palmed. No, no, don't encourage her! That is seriously the last thing they needed, what with them having to keep a low profile and all. Plus she had just committed property damage, which was unfortunately pretty much typical of her. Thank Vayu these guys seemed too dense to care. With a deep sigh, he turned to Aria instead.

"Urgh, sorry about that," he groaned apologetically. "I wish I could say she's not normally like that, but..." he trailed off. Still, he quickly brightened up again. "You're really good though! You played it before, or is it just one of those having the right kind of skills sort of things?"

Meanwhile, one of the dudes edged his way around the group. Disregarding the burst ball, or the slightly terrifying bear woman, he instead came to a stop by the curious, cheerful blue haired man and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Dude..." he muttered not all that quietly. "How do you do it, dude? How are you surrounded by all these hot chicks? I gotta know!"
*manly tears*
That passage is like... My Immortal levels of quality. A+ will read again :P

The second is a masterpiece

Los Paraisos: Beach
The hunks were a little suprised, really. After a very shakey start, accompanied by the worst prep-talk ever by the bear, this odd group of misfits were starting to pull together. It was clear as day that most of them were completely new to volleyball after all - even those who were doing better such as the beautiful pale woman's technique was fairly clearly made up on the spot - but here they were. Keeping up.

And then the blonde pretty much slapped the ball, sending it flying over the net and crashing into the freckled guy's cheekbone, leaving a steadily growing red mark in it's wake. A slap by proxy! Still, they didn't let up either. The laughter grew, although it wasn't directed at anyone. Neither were they staring so much at some of the Pride team. They were focusing on the game and they were having fun. This was great!

The ball was saved just before it hit the sand, and was bounced back to one of the others. It was then hit back over to the Pride side.

Syed's eyes widened. Now was his chance to redeem himself too! He could do it! He had taken on firons and bearons and electures and... whatever the hell Frank was and Lucifer. He could do this! He had seen how the other team held their hands. Fingers linked together, tucking the thumbs in to form a sort of flat surface to bounce the ball off. He reached out...

...And missed, the ball sailing inches past his hands and hitting the floor. Oh. He flushed spectacularly. Right in front of this growing crowd too, many of whom started laughing at him. Moira looked livid. "Just... stay the fuck away from the ball!" she shreiked.

3 points down. They really sucked at this.

"One more shot, yeah?" One of the guys laughed. He grabbed a hold of the ball as it was rolled to him, before throwing it up for one more serve.
LMFAO @ the wrestler's name actually being the same. It's like a christmas miracle *wipes tear from eye*

Sy gets so much abuse that the poor bloke will either emerge from this RP as a shivering wreck or bamf as fuck. Or dead. We'll see.

And to be honest I saw that line and my mind immediately went into immature "hurr durr that sounds rude". I'm terrible.

I would like to say if anyone fancies using Moira in the IC for whatever reason, they can do. I know I did pretty much say as much in the IC, but just reiterating it here too.
Danni that sounds AWESOME OMG! Like totally up my street lmao. *Has stars in eyes*

I prefer to think of Johnny as a group collaberation character. He's what happens when we all join forces and create a character together. A great big beefy guy woooo! But in all seriousness Tae started it and yeah I ran with it, but I don't think it would have hit off like it had if Kathi didn't post her doodle of him either lmao. We all contributed a bit really.

I have read very little Brit-Lit lmao. I'm just... not a fan of classic literature I guess. I like stuff like... well like Danni's D&D campaign, so I like stuff with a little more kaboom haha!

Los Paraisos: Beach
Syed sighed. Sure, Amy didn't want to join in, he didn't either. But here they both were, even if it was against their will, so why did she have to be so awkward about it? His expression was probably one of the more dissaproving of the group.

But then her expression shifted, just slightly. And with that, she gave in and tried to throw the ball back over. And failed pretty spectacularly, which seemed to humiliate her. Oh, no wonder she was so reluctant to play then. Well that and the men comment earlier, although he couldn't help but feel a little resentful about that one.

"We'll try and cover you," he offered with a shrug regardless, his expression straight-faced. At least she was making an effort now, so there was that.

Moira seemed to be getting a little irate. Sure, suprisingly enough Selan had the right skills to at least be semi-compitent at the game, but Amy had just lost them a point. She couldn't have that. She really couldn't. She bent over to the grab the ball.

It's time to get serious.

She ran forwards, before leaping up and smacking the ball so hard it created a mini-shockwave, throwing sand in all directions. The hunks seemed slightly suprised by this - just how strong was this woman? - although they took it in their stride. They buckled down immediately, and seamlessly sent the ball back. Well, it seemed that they were pretty decent when they were actually trying.

Syed on the other hand had no time to react as he was caught mid-stride after being pulled by Moira, before he was sent crumpling to the floor. Well, he was the last person who should be covering anyone else it turned out.

"OOOOOOOH!" the guys all cried out in sympathy, quite visibly feeling some empathy pains in the downstairs compartment themselves. "Ow dude! Ow! Sorry about that dude!"

"It's okay..." Syed squeaked out in a tiny voice. He really wasn't having a good day. "...Would have... adopted anyway..."

Meanwhile, Moira raged. Now they were two points down damnit! They hadn't even came close to scoring! They had to win! They needed a strategy!

"NEW PLAN!" she bellowed, holding a pointed finger above her head dramatically, she then swept it down, pointing to Amy then the still grounded Syed in turn. "STOP BEING SHIT! Everyone else, let's kick their arses! You lot with me?!" She stared at the others with an expression much like an overly-enthusiastic sports coach. All she was missing was the whistle, but she was probably louder than a whistle anyway.

Moira Dennis, master strategist.

Imbrued with a newfound zeal from her anger, she buckled herself down as the hunks prepared to serve once more. Whether it be hitting the ball herself or assisting one of the others, she was ready. Syed pulled himself up, looking quite annoyed with her.

Meanwhile the guys laughed between themselves. This group really was rubbish. Still, at least half of them were good to look at. A couple of them resumed their flexing for a moment. "Here, Johnny, your serve!"

68% Arm Muscle Guy threw the ball up in the air, before hitting it hard back over the net.
Yeah FF14 is making my computer overheat all the time so I know that feel. I'm just not going to be able to play it over the summer at all (although I dunno if I will be by then anyway)

The beach shenanigans are all going to end in tears just you watch
