Yeah I take all of the blame for not telling anyone about the plans for the bedroom scene. I should have just left a quick note in the OOC saying "nobody interrupt this plz" but hey I've learnt my mistake there. That one was totally my fault, and I do apologise for it. I did try my best to make up for it after though with Moira interactions! *bows multiple times*

Anyway yeah, I've definately felt that I've been slipping lately, idk. I don't think it's anything people have individuals have done (except for the previously mentioned fuck-up of mine), but yeah as a whole we've been a bit... idk the word. Wary? Something. It's something I'm definately going to try and improve on. The communication thing too, I definately need to improve on that one.

Edit times.

We got too reliant on Pach, basically. One way or the other. We were treating him as the GM but not a player. Taking him for granted. Kinda makes me sick to think that I was treating him like that. He's my friend. Urgh.

I'm gonna try my fucking hardest to fix things. I'm kicking it up a gear. I adore this RP like nothing else, and I really want it to succeed. But tbh, I want everyone to be happy even more than that. I need to kick up my communication by about ten gears. I need to be braver with my characters - they both have very strong personalities in their own ways, and I'm not utilising them properly. My latest post was that much more fun because I actually was, why have I been so fucking hesitant?! I need to take the initiative to move things on more. I need to trust that I won't piss people off with my choices. It'll be hard for me, I'm self-critical as fuck. But I need to.

Idk if this is the word for it, but we need to make it more... organic?

I think a week should hopefully be long enough for the investigation times? I'm not very good at judging timeframes. But I'd still like to do it, even if we're brief about it *shrug*
Pachamac said If people want to continue posting, then by all means do so (I'd actually appreciate it) but I'm taking a short break. Have a good weekend everyone!

I'm all for keeping up the posting. Just posted now!

And yeah, it sucks that everyone's busy, but I guess this is a terrible time of year for that *shrugs*

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - First Floor
The ground trembled and shook as the stampede bore upon the bound pair - cameras pointing, microphones pointed.

"MISS LECLAIR! MISS LECLAIR!"

Moira did not move. She closed her eyes, her face controrting to a grimace. This was too much noise. This was far too much noise. Slowly, she raised her arm before her, her flat palm facing the crowd. "STOP!!!" she bellowed with that impressively loud voice of hers, her eyes flashing open. "YOU AIN'T PASSIN'!!!"

The first row or so of reporters hesitated and slowed, finding themselves inexplicably intimidated by the short, bulky, disheveled woman before them. However they were only pushed away by the waves of reporters behind them. There was no stopping this mob. Moira's eyes burned with anger. Were they ignoring her?! How fucking dare they ignore-ARGH!

As sturdy as she was, even she couldn't resist being swept away by a tidlewave of shouting people and cameras and flashes. They did not give a shit! Even Syed - who had far more sensibly attempted to take cover in a doorway - found himself likewise pulled downstream as Moira was pushed and shoved further down the corridor.

"MISS LECLAIR! MISS LECLAIR!"

"SHUT YOUR FACE YOU FUCKIN SHITHEAD DICKWARD ******* ****** ******-!" Moira screamed, flailing her limbs in every direction she could. She'd punch them all if she could make heads or tails of who was who. No fuck this! If she had her sword, oh if she had her sword they'd be listening! Listening or bleeding!!!

Little did she know that behind her Syed's hands were moving in swift, deliberate movements. Concentrate, concentrate. His cast was interrupted a couple of times as people pushed and bumped against him, but the third time came up lucky as he managed to cross his arms before him...

Then he clenched his hands into fists, his eyes flashing bright yellow for a split second.

Pandemonium ensued. Suddenly the loud, shrill ring of a fire alarm filled the corridor, shortly followed by the sprinklers in the ceiling activating and showing everyone there in a startlingly cold flood of water. Most of the reporters began to panic about their equipment getting wet, shouting and hunching over their cameras and microphones to try and keep them dry.

Moira faltered, somewhat beweildered by it all. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up on end, but that was it. "What the fu-?!"

"Don't question it!" Syed shouted urgently over the noise. His distraction had only caused them a few seconds of time at the most. "Come on!"

The pair of them began to run. Of course by now, there was no sign of their group, and the constant din of the fire alarm easily drowned out any other noise. They had no idea where they went at all. Where were they supposed to be going?

"HEY!" someone shouted from behind them. Shit SHIT was that their time up already?! That was it, they were screwed.

Suddenly Moira grasped Syed's wrist. He barely had time to even question it internally, before...

"Wait Moira no NO MOIRA DON'T-!!!"

Moira leapt out of the open window at the end of the corridor, dragging the mage along with her. The split second they were suspended in the air seemed to last forever; Moira's expression frozen in a steely, furious determination, Syed's a somewhat less flattering look of absolute terror.

The canopy which thankfully laid below them tore under their combined weight as they plummetted, the pair of them landing in a painful heap on the floor. Thank the gods they only jumped out of the first floor! Moira quickly scrambled up to her feet, pulled up her partner (who gave a gasp of pain as she did so), and dove into the masses of people now filtering out of the hotel.

"Keep your head down!" she hissed, pulling Syed down as she did so. The pair of them made their way through the crowds as best as they could, before taking shelter behind the nearby newspaper stall. Neither of them were the sort who could easily blend into crowds, after all.

Any way hope everyone's having a great day, and congrats about the tests and stuff!

I finally managed to get Bard to level 50 in FF14, so that's my second level 50 woo! I ended up getting it with a bang, fighting a final boss in a dungeon when the healer died. Second dps died too, and the tank went down to 7HP (out of around 6000HP) when I managed to activate my limit break. Tank's health was restored and between the two of us we managed to finish it off. I always scoffed at Bard getting a healer limit break when it's a dps class. NOT ANY MORE! Sorry I'm a bit excited about that hahahaha!

Anyway my bed calls, so seeya all later!

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - First floor
Syed's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. That rumbling sound, the shaking of the floor... it was no good. No good at all! He started getting fidgety right from the get-go. They had to move they had to move now!

And then they appeared. His expression grew even more horrified.

"Oh what the fuck?! Them again?!" Moira hissed as she readjusted her stance to be much firmer. She wiped her mouth with a thumb, before bringing her fists up before her. "These guys are right pissing me off! You guys get going, we'll hold th-"

"No!" Syed grabbed a hold of her wrist and started pulling. While she was initially as unmovable as ever, wasting precious seconds, a brief electric shock put paid to that.

"AURGH WHAT NO!" she stumbled, but even then she managed to wrench her wrist from his grip so easily it was like nothing. Nonetheless, she found herself running along with the others anyway. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"The last thing we need is for you to get arrested for assault!" He spat back, now cradling his hand as he too ran. Was he always this heavy footed? Every footfall sent shockwaves up to his poor, hurting head.

Moira snarled. The fact remained that whatever happened, she was definately one of the slowest members of the whole group. And their bond ensured that Syed was stuck at her pace too, height difference and all. Plus Selan was trying to run with a baby. The group might get out of here before they were caught, but the crowd was definately gaining on them...

Fuck this hangover. Fuck the fact that she hadn't even had a chance to have a proper wash this morning, or the fact that her hair was a mess and her makeup smudged. Fuck the constant hammering pain in her head, coursing across her entire body with every strike. Fuck everything! And especially fuck these assholes!

"This is my job, Sy! Let me fuckin' do it!" Moira skidded to a standstill. "Keep going!" she bellowed back towards the group. "We'll be right behind you!"

"Please don't hit them!" Syed's voice starting to shake again with panic. He knew that look, she was determined to do this. How they were supposed to stop a mob between the two of them, he didn't know. They were more likely to get trampled! "...And please don't get us killed..."

"Sy, you're my backup," she said, ignoring him entirely. And with that, she faced the oncoming horde.
Have a good trip Kathi! Phone posts do sound pretty terrible, but my phone can't even log on the forum lol. So good luck with that one!

That barbershop video was amazing, and kinda confused me a bit when I'm eating my tea hahaha!

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Lift
Needless to say, neither Moira nor Syed were particularly enthused with the idea of being swarmed by paparazzi. Syed flattened himself against one of the sides of the elevator in panic (having thankfully gotten himself a shirt when Moira got her clothes), electricity buzzing from his temples. Moira in contrast brought her fist back, ready to give one of them a kiss with a fist. Fuck off out of her personal space!

The Crazy Crusader or whatever the fuck his name was closed the doors first. Well shit. Now she was all wound up and had nothing to take it out on. "URGH!"

“Is she...hahaha...having an affair on Big Bro, hahaha, with Big BRO! Hahahahaha! Oh Don, you dog you!”

"Heh... heheh," Syed about managed, smiling weakly despite himself.

Moira on the other hand raised an eyebrow. "What?! You still drunk? This guy ain't Don, look at the shitty helmet! There ain't no room for his hair in there. And that lot knew who he was."

If anyone were to glance towards Syed after that, they would see him slowly shaking his head. Don't bother trying to reason with her. Just don't. "Well, congratulations on the knockout preformance," he smiled, this time a lot more forced. "Wish I'd have been there to see it. And sober to remember it." His eyes then unfocused as he became lost in thought.

"Yeah that's bloody typical of you, that is," Moira said dismissively, although it was pretty clear what was really bothering her. "But how we supposed to get food now?! And sort this baby out?! I suppose we can punch them all out of the way. Just say the word and I'll do it."

"You know... they'll know some of what happened. Like where this preformance was, stuff like that," Syed said slowly.

"Good luck trying to get a word out of them, they're the press."

"Well, maybe not them. But it'll be a good idea to ask someone. Retrace our footsteps. Might give a clue where this baby came from, right?" He squirmed a little, shoving his hands into his pockets - where he had neatly folded up and stored the marriage certificate. Really, he wanted to burn the damned thing, curl up in a hole and never come out, but considering the information it had on it... "I wouldn't mind finding out where the church we... where something else is either, if we get the chance."

Moira snorted. The baby came from a concert or something?! She doubted it.
Just a quick post before work because screw my horrible finishing time on Tuesdays. I probably won't be posting earlier on a Tuesday again though, cause lol just been pointed out to me that it's pretty much speedposting. Goddamn GMT.

I was going to watch your video Fox, until I saw the disclaimer. That kind of stuff is bad for me so I'm giving it a pass haha.

Anyway I hope everyone has a good day, I'll seeya all tomorrow. Wooooop!

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Corridor
"Everyone, calm down! There's no need to panic, just take a wild guess who's in the costume."

Syed relaxed instantly as he was dragged behind Moira, clutching at his chest. So it was Don! "Don't do that!" he scolded. "And where'd you find an outfit like that?" All these suprises were going to finish him off at this rate. Especially with the day he was having.

Moira on the other hand stopped and stared blankly at the costumed man. Everyone else was recognising this guy, but she certainly wasn't. Take a wild guess? Thunderhawk? No, Thunderhawk's short and stocky, this guy's pretty lanky. Tiberius? Not bulky enough, and not on the island... probably. Kapi?!

She kept her mouth firmly shut. She already felt like an idiot, the last thing she wanted to do was open her mouth and remove all doubt.

"Oh my goodness, it's... It's a boy! You never told us you were..."

"I wasn't. I'm not exactly clear on the details yet, I was hoping you all knew what happened last night. But well, looking at you all..."

"You guys kidnapped a kid?"

What. The. Hell. "You WHAT?!" Moira screached. You steal shit like personal belongings and artifacts, not babies! If you're stealing babies you're doing it wrong! A baby needs it's mother!

Syed immediately strode forwards to look for himself, apparently not really believing it til he saw it. Yep. It was a baby alright. And pretty happy in Selan's hold at that. "I think we're all as lost as you are," he said gently, giving the baby boy his hand to allow him to grip on his long fingers. He wasn't very confident with children this young, so he sure was glad the baby seemed to like Selan so much. He frowned. "It's a bit strange how we've all forgot, isn't it?" Especially with some of the people present here not being drinkers at all.

"More like a huge bummer," Moira scowled. "I'd have paid good gald to see some of you drunk."

Syed ignored her. "Either way, we need to do something about this baby."

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Doorway
“Please tell me you remember something! All I know is that Lucy and I woke up in --- well suffice it to say we don’t remember how or what...fuck. I...um...where’s Syed?”

Moira arched an eyebrow so high it dissapeared under her scruffy fringe. Woke up in what? A dumpster? A Grungy's? A cleaning cupboard? She kinda wished it was a cleaning cupboard, the sick in her room really wasn't doing her stomach any favours. Even if it was hers.

She opened her mouth to make a dismissive comment about how if she could get rid of her partner that easily she would have done ages ago, when suddenly...

“FREEZE, EVILDOERS!!”

What the fuck was that?!

“NOT A SINGLE ONE OF YOU MOVE! YOU’RE ALL UNDER ARREST! SO SWEARS… CRIMSON JUSTICE!!”

Syed started. The voice was certainly familiar, although the way the words were spoken was different. As if the male who was shouting was putting it on a bit. It threw him off a little. Curiosity got the better of him, and he emerged poking his head around the doorframe, a good foot above Moira's. Don?

The man stood before them was completely unrecognisable, clad head-to-toe in some daft superhero suit which fit him pretty well. The build was right though oh gods was he pointing a weapon at them all?! "Ack, what the hell?!" he exclaimed, shrinking back behind the doorframe so fast that he was pretty much a blur. He certainly wasn't sure enough if it were Don or not at this stage to risk his head getting blasted off. Nor did he want to be arrested if this guy was the real deal. That'd be the icing on the cake.

It was a shame, really. He really would have appreciated having a talk with Don right now. He needed a bro.

Moira on the other hand weren't having it. She clenched her fists at her sides and strode out into the hallway, dragging her very reluctant electric anchor along with her no matter how many shaky protests he gave. With this man shouting the place down, and threatening her friends at that? No. No. They might not remember last night, but neither Dylan nor Lucien were the sort to get arrest warrants filed against them. And even if they did, is this the sort of person Los Paraisos sent out to arrest people? Douchebags who looked like a little boy's action figure? She doubted it.

"Nobody move?! Who the fuck do you think you are?!" she bellowed, striding past her bewildered friends and towards the dangerous man. Unlike her partner, she didn't recognise this man in the slightest.

Nor did she give a shit.
