Mayt had went to bed not long after everyone else, but failed to come to the guild in the morning. He went around the Markets again, getting various odd trinkets and such. He does his best to avoid anyone and everyone who looks official or like law enforcement. After a bit of this, he manages to collect almost everything he's after, and heads to the guild. He heads to the back of the hall and takes an out-of-the-way table, almost shaking. He shakes his head, pulling out a new letter, this one only a page long, and starting to read it. The letter seems to have some red marks on it, and he bites his lip as he reads it. His posture in and of itself suggests something is up, and he makes sure to cover it or shift it out of view if anyone comes by. When he finishes, he crosses his arms over the paper and sinks down with his eyes against his arms.
Mayt smiles when she mentions dying while trying to get chalk. "The dizziness was sudden, and I doubt it would've happened had you not come along in the manner that you did." He smiles, and rubs the back of his head. "And S-Class can't be that special, outside of a few special permissions. Though, personally, I'm glad Angelo didn't win. He seemed overconfident. Didn't like it at all." He shakes his head a little, then lets out a sigh through his nose. "So Penny, basic tour. Here's the bar, out back is a field to train in, over there is the job board, and I think over there is the entrance to the dorms and such." He points as he mentions each place, and smiles a little.
It's okay, thanks.
Mayt turned towards Penny after a moment, nodding to Damian first. "Hey Penny, thanks again for getting that stuff for me." He smiled, he seems a little more relaxed than he was previously, but he's still on edge. "And welcome to Phoenix wing! Where Damian won't be the only S-Class wizard for too much longer, and as I understand it, S-Class is the highest you can be." He chuckles, and leans back against the counter, taking a sip of his drink. He thought about how he, Sasha, and Lazarus, would all be scouting out the dark guild, but decided to postpone it until after Penny told Sasha they were sisters. He figured that that would be a better way to do everything. He gave Sasha a knowing smile, weather she was looking or not. He could relax for the rest of today, he had gotten over half the things he had needed to get.
Zarkun... Mayt kind of said things to Damian, and was completely ignored in the last thing you said.
Mayt looked back at Damian when he called his name, and he got up, moving over and sitting next to him. "I, uh, had a few errands to run, had to buy some things, I was hoping to be back before you and Angelo had your fight, but I ran into someone and then tripped. And then I got dizzy from the concussion and caused a mass collapse. That was, interesting. To say the least. But I ultimately got what I was after, so it's all good." He shrugged, and looked at Damian. "I guess that fight between you and Angelo was pretty intense, huh?" This was obviously just courtesy, Damian could tell by the tone of his voice he could see the fight was pretty rough. "Who won?"
Lazarus is my vote
Mayt sat around his room for a bit before heading to the guild. He would be dressed in his normal attire, but he'd look very tired, like he hadn't been able to get good sleep the night before. He inwardly hoped he hadn't missed the fight with Angelo in it, but figured he probably did. When he came into the guild he looked around, first to see who he could see, and second to see if Angelo and Damian around, preferably not beat up. Seeing neither, he headed out into the area where the fights were held, and sighed. Seems like he had missed the fight after all. He looked around again then headed back inside, sitting down at the bar and ordering a drink of water, thinking about Penny and Sasha.
*Six in the afternoon and just woke up for the day.*
"Hold on a moment." Mayt groans when she knocks, and after a few minutes he opens the door. It's obvious he had just finished washing himself. "Thanks, Penny." He started taking the stuff from her, taking it in and setting it next to the bed slowly, leaving the door open. Penny can see it's a simple two-room apartment (If you can call a bathroom a room.), the bed is ruffled and has some odd things scattered on it. A few books, a knife, some candles, things of that accord. He has a chess set shoved into a corner, and he's cleared out a small-ish space in the center of the room, his sword is resting within arms reach of the bed, and the rest is just too much of a mess to make out much. Once he had put everything by his bed, he moved back to the door, blocking it from view. "Thanks Penny, I guess I'll see you around the guild sometime soon." He gave her a quick smile before starting to close the door, but stopping before it's almost completely closed and opening it again.

"By the way, if you need a place to stay, I'm pretty sure the Guild rents rooms, and there's a couple hotels around here." He looks outside the door like he can actually see something outside. "And if you absolutely can't be bothered to spend a few gems I have a couple of spare bedrolls." He starts to close the door again, not giving her time to say anything or argue. He didn't want to have to explain anything.
