Mayt looked up when the Guild Master began and visibly shook a little when he talked about expecting things to happen soon. He quickly folded up the second letter and shoved it in his pocket, getting up and quickly making his way towards the exit. He hoped the Guild Master didn't have anything more to say, especially if it was related to him. he hesitated at the door and looked back at Sasha, before heading out of the guild, pushing past anyone in his way. He went straight to the market place, looking for one last thing. He shifted around nervously. Maybe he should tell Sasha? Mayt shook his head, knowing that wouldn't end well. She'd try to help, and get too many people involved. All he could do was hope for the best, right now anyway.
Well, Master Jamie is about to make an announcement, keep that in mind.
Okay, so here's the two blackmailers. Feel free to hate on some abilities, I'd be more than happy to change some of them. But as a warning, I haven't slept in over 18 hours now, and I just wrote the histories, so they're really lame because I'm tired and lazy.

Name: Melina Vale
Age: 37
Magic:Blood Magic

Blood Sap: If Melina can make an opponent bleed by any means, she can use the leaking blood to restore her magical energy, and, should there be a high enough quantity, she can restore minor wounds with it. Contact with the blood and her skin must be made however. Amount of magic recovered also varies based on if the blood is from a magical or non-magical creature or person, and what kind of creature it is.

Blood Mimic: If Melina can ingest a sample of an individual’s blood, she can use a weaker version of that individual's blood for a minute/ml of blood ingested. Up to a limit of an hour at a time.

Blood Copy: Allows Melina to make herself look similar to an individual for an hour if she ingests two liters of their blood. Works best if blood is from individuals who have near the same features. This change could cause them to be mistaken for the person, but anyone who knows the individual closely or is good with faces will likely see through the ruse. (Improved by Blood Covenant with Mithera)

Sense: Melina can sense the locations of nearby living beings, but cannot tell what kind of critter they are.

Locate: Melina can turn a small amount of blood into magical energy, and use that energy to track the location of the blood’s origin.

Blood Pact: Melina can create a document, and if two individuals sign this pact in their own blood (Obviously), they both must follow the terms agreements, and will be physically unable to break any term of the agreement until the pact itself is destroyed by one of the two that signed it. (The individuals are able to break the pact, even if the pact explicitly states they can’t.)

Blood Covenant: Melina can create permanently tie herself and another witch or wizard magically. Both her and the other must be completely willing, and must mix their blood together. This completely drains both individuals of their magic pools to create the link, which allows the two to share energy pools, speak telepathically, and, to a limited extent, use each other's powers. This link cannot be broken save by a very powerful mage who knows how.

Shape Blood: Melina, if bleeding, can shape her own blood into crude objects. Melina often uses this to make things like claws so she can tear into enemies easily and draw lots of blood.

Recovery Ritual: Melina is unable to naturally regenerate her magic over time like most wizards can, she must use blood. However, if she has the proper items, she can fully recover her magical energy for less than the normal amount of blood required.

Blood Gate Ritual: If a proper setup with the right items is built, Melina can move between two of these ‘Ritual’ locations almost instantaneously. However, this requires the sacrifice of a small animal, such as a dog, cat, chicken, or other animals of about that size, to activate. Amount of energy needed to maintain the portal long enough to cross increases with range.

Blood Queen: ‘Ultimate’ ability, requires the sacrifice of a larger creature to initiate (Human size up). She uses the life force of the sacrifice to create a surprisingly tough armor of blood, and a scythe created from the energy of the leftover amount. However, this ultimately completely drains her of all her magic energy.
Magic Level: A
History: Melina was born to a normal family, and lived a normal life until around the age of thirteen, where she found Mithera one day. The small dragon-like creature entranced her, and eventually managed to not only teach her she had magic without a word, but managed to teach her how to create a blood covenant with her. Creating the close connection they have today. Now, rarely is one seen without another, and the only differences between the two now have simply become looks and end goals. Mithera wants to restore magic to its former glory, while Melina simply wants to have power. A pair of goals that goes well together, since one will certainly lead to another. They have worked odd jobs and have been in and out of various guilds, both good and bad, saving up and finding dirt on people to ultimately create a chain of events to cause both of their goals to happen. She is the one who caught Mayt’s parents and got them arrested, on Mithera’s command.
Personality: A manipulative, bloodthirsty, power-hungry, neat-freak, black-mailing, and downright maniacal B***.
Team Members: Mithera
Three Strengths:
1. Can recover power in combat
2. Can trick people into unbreakable contracts
3. Can dig up dirt on most anyone
Three Weaknesses:
1. Must actively work to regenerate power.
2. Can be starved of power easily, she can’t store too much at a time.
3. Would sell her soul to become more powerful.
Greatest Love: Power
Motivation: Power
Appearance:
Additional Details: Has a blood covenant with Mithera.
Name: Mithera
Age: 146
Magic: Shape Shifting

Human Form: Her human form. Dark hair, lean, 5’8””, tanned skin, dark eyes.

‘Pet’ Form: Non-combat form. A small furry white dragon that can fly and shoot small tufts of mostly harmless fire.

Predator Form S: Primary combat form. A small (Comparitively) fire-breathing green dragon. His scales are not nearly as tough as an actual dragon’s scales, so dragon-slayer magic is not required to defeat him in this form. However, a number of magics and attacks will still simply roll off his scales in this form. However, due to the size of this form, it takes days to gather the energy and mass to shift into this form, since he can’t create substance from magic. Must shift to this form from Form A.

Predator Form A: A large cat-like form with large metal-rending talons and teeth. About the size of a horse. Very dangerous. Must shift to this form from Form B or S

Predator Form B: A large panther, about half the size of a person, with dark fur that can easily allow it to hide in darkness. Must shift to this form from human, C, or S form.

Predator Form C: A wolf that comes up to the average person’s knee. Sharp teeth and speed make this form dangerous, but not as much so as other forms. Can be shifted too from any form.

Transition Forms: Transition forms are any form in between two forms. These forms typically look incomplete or deranged, and are nigh-impossible for Mithera to fight in.
Magic Level: S
History: Mithera was born during the age where magic was still prevalent, and before the world was sent into the age of fear. She had only learned the basics of her own magic when that happened, but was outcast by the coming distrust and fear of magic. Eventually, after ten towns outcasted her and hated her, she chose to live without people. Eventually, once she had taught herself a number of more forms she could now change into, she decided to re-integrate back into society slowly. She found a promising young witch, Melina, who she soon found could use blood magic. Mithera obviously found this very interesting, and took her on as a sort of apprentice. She saw a way to restore magic to what it was considered before the age of fear. She realized that was what she wanted. She wanted those with magic to be considered heroes among men. While not all were considered that then, or will be now, Mithera knew that her goal in life, from then on, was to restore magic to its former glory. Whether through fear or respect was inconsequential.
Personality: Puppeteer.
Team Members: Melina
Three Strengths:
1. Tied with a powerful sorceress
2. Her lifespan is potentially more than ten times the average human’s due to his ability to change forms
3. Her forms are tough to hurt with weapons.
Three Weaknesses: (Make them Applicable)
1. Requires both magical power and physical mass to transform.
2. Transformation takes time.
3. Overconfident of her teammate.
Greatest Love: Being praised.
Motivation: To see magic restored to its former glory, weather through fear or respect he doesn’t care.
Appearance: [See the dragon in Melina Vale’s pic. She never is in human form.]
Additional Details: Has a Blood Covenant with Melina Vale. The Blood Covenant allows her to use other’s blood to magically fuel her transformations, less efficiently than Melina however.

OH S&1T

Is it bad that this made my day?
*Cough* The guild is called Phoenix Wing *Cough cough*
I absolutely despise insta-killing. Except for generic enemies that serve no point other than being a bother and slowing you down/causing conflict.

Okay:1.I'm cool with the idea, I've been thinking of some and been talking to Caits about it for awhile now. But that's a secret so shhhhhhh :)2. Also cool with the idea, so okay.3. Shape shifting wasn't my really my main issue, but just out of curiosity. Blood magic though was what hit me and made me think that it could be a bit OP. So if you don't make the blood magic instant kill people (like exploding someone's blood out of their body), that would be nice and I would be cool with it.I have to go to sleep soon, so Caits, you can finish up with what you think if you want :)

3: Oh heeeell no on insta-kills. None of that BS, I was thinking more of, she can only completely control her own blood, the blood of something that's dead, and the blood of her partner. None of that using blood that's inside someone else. None of that. She can only drain the magic from other's blood if she causes them to bleed, and can then directly touch the blood with her skin. All blood inside your body, unless she somehow gets to put her hand IN your body, (ughk *Shiver*) Is safe.
1. I would like for them to be a second set of antagonists, since the Ragged (Raggard?) Brotherhood hasn’t done anything in a while. And I very much enjoy multiple antagonists in a story, especially when they don’t necessarily get along.

2. Yes.

3A: (Blood magic) Basically using blood as a medium for magical energy, instead of it being incorporeal. For example, the character I have in mind, doesn’t ‘regenerate’ her magic over time, she needs to either drain blood of a creature to regain it, or do a special ritual that requires her own blood. Change shape of her own blood yes, and to an extent others. It also allows for a lot of out-of combat uses, such as tying two individuals together with their blood. (Not literally connecting them, but you get the idea.) As well as various other miscellaneous things.

3B: Limited shape shifting as in a new form would require years of practice to create and master, so the user only has limited forms to choose from, and it requires the physical mass and magic to use.
I believe I need words between Hider ends Wordswordswordswordswords[/hider]
Okay, Caits, couple of questions:
1. Is it okay if I make character sheets for the people blackmailing Mayt?
2. Is it okay if one of them is S rank?
3. Is blood magic and limited shape shifting OK?
