Eh, I classified that as 'mild'. Well, he also now has access to all his spells and abilities. And he beat Carrie, a council wizard, without any of them. So, he's pretty confident.

Mayt looked up as another dragon-like thing roared, he smirked, deciding that they must be the normal form of transportation in this world. As the legion landed, and the four riders got off, making their intent clear, he drew his sword, smiling. "Hey, you all go and do what you were already going to do, I've got these four." He walked towards them casually, his shape blurring slightly. He stopped roughly twenty paces from the four that had unfortunately challenged Phoenix Wing. By then, it'd be hard to focus on any of his features, and he'd partially look as if he's being blown away in the wind. "You call us small, and then show up with all of four members. Big talk. Espescially when you're completely outclassed." He pointed his sword at them, smiling. "So, if you really believe we will fall here, then throw everything you've got at me." He moved into a combat-ready stance, holding his sword in front of him with both hands.

Mayat sighed, putting her fingers to the bridge of her nose, squeezing slightly. "God you're dense." She looked, up, fury in her eyes. "We're not your Phoenix Wing! We're already risking ourselves and our guildmates trusting any of you and you have the audacity to barge in here, not knowing shit about what's going on, and say we're in the wrong? Not to mention you went and fucking switched places with one of the people we trust the least! I'm sorry if we don't just throw ourselves onto our knees and consider you an angel or what the fuck ever, but you have given us no reason to believe we can trust you, or this lands Lazarus." She glared daggers at the offending party, clearly ready to slit his throat for his idiocy. "Now you just sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up"

She giggled softly and smiled at him, standing back up normally and hooking their arms again. "No, it's more like I have abilities I can't use without killing something at least as large as a person and then using their blood for power. Blood queen, the ability I was using back in that train station last time we met, requires a sacrifice of some description as well. Though your firebug was wrong about finding a body. I can use the entire corpse of something recently-deceased, so all she would've found would be some clothes in a dumpster." She grinned at him. "And there's a number of bodies to be found at the council building too, but I digress. I still wouldn't want to have to incur bad reputation and high costs on your guild when the going gets tough on a job, or otherwise."
