Long ago, hidden between forests as dark as the midnight's sky, there laid a town of a million secrets.
It's name was New Mayflower, named after the ship that the founding family arrived to the New Land on. No one remembers their name now, the first settlers. No one knows why they had come to set up a picturesque home in such a damned place, nor what even happened to them to be so forgotten. All is know of how New Mayflower came to be comes from a tale of a stranger in the night and a family plagued by haunts of the forest.
Townsfolk nowadays, who live their bland lives from the rise of the sun to the rise of the moon, have found themselves not carrying anymore. Or did they not care to begin with? They were all damned now. Both from the curse of New Mayflower and the cloaks of mystery that each person of the town has been found to be born in.
There is no road on any map to find this town. You can not find it, nor would you even wish to. Things happen in New Mayflower. Bad things. Strange things. Things that had forever been planned to stay hidden.
However, things never stay to plan.
RULES OF THE GROUP
1. A paragraph or more per post. Detailed posts are high encouraged and expected.
2. Complete characters must be send with requests to join.
3. Overpowered characters will not be allowed. If chosen to be a fantasy characters, please stick to common canons and beliefs.
E.X. Vampires cannot be in sun, drinks blood, etc.
4. Romance is highly encouraged! Good romance can always spice up a RP in my opinion. However, please ask that person if they would like to create a romance between your characters before you do so.
5. This is a Salem-esque setting. Colonial America, really. So make sure your characters and canon to this.
6. Have fun, and if you would like to add to the canon, please ask me! I'm happy to let people add to the canon of New Mayflower.
