I'm shitty with introductions, so I'll make this brief. I'm looking for a few partners and think it'd be handy-dandy to have an interest check. Please read everything thoroughly, as I'm not open for negotiating my rules.
Pretentious Rule-book for Sailing the Seven Fucking Seas
+ I'm a high-casual to advanced writer and request that my partners be able to confidently match my skills. My post lengths average at about 500 words, although this fluctuates heavily depending on the circumstances. At the minimum, you'll get two decent paragraphs that I reserve for close-knit character interactions. At the most 2000 words.
+ I prefer romance to be in the plot. Not as an overarching theme but something to keep in the background. That being said, the pairing must be mxf and I can write as either gender.
+ Be at least 18. I'm not too big on smut, although I will write sex scenes on occasion. They shouldn't overshadow the entire plot, however, or be excessive in content or frequency. Also completely okay with people who'd rather fade-to-black. I swing both ways.
+ In case you haven't been able to tell, I have a bit of a fucking potty mouth. Hopefully it shouldn't bother anyone, but you'd be surprised. A cunt could be ready to write online incest porn but thinks my language is a little foul. Just a disclosure that I cuss and my characters cuss.
+ Also be okay with gore. Other mature themes I'm less intense on. Substance abuse? Eh. Sex? It's okay. Blood, guts, and mayhem? Well sign me the fuck up. If it bothers you, we really wouldn't be compatible.
+ I might seem like a raging douche canoe, but I'm really not too mean. If there's a problem somewhere down the road, don't be hesitant to communicate with me. I do like talking with my partners in OOC, so I prefer you would too.
+ I will not make a thread on this forum. I'm okay with the PM system, google docs, or whatever medium you want to communicate with me on. I just prefer it to be private is all.
+ IMPORTANT! I'm only taking in two-three partners at a time. I'll have a comment below this post that I'll have updated regularly. If it says "CLOSED" please do not message me trying to hop on my dick and get me to write with you. I won't respond.
Captain's Quarters
Disclosure before I begin talking plots: I don't do fandoms. It's almost a strict, definitive no from me. I simply cannot get into a character or world I did not have a hand in creating. Not only that, but half the time I'm not familiar with the source material. If you want to draw inspiration from The Walking Dead or Horton Hears a Who or whatever book you fucked up bitches are reading, I couldn't care less. I'm just not going to be writing in that world, should that make sense.
Settings
These aren't fully-fledged plots so much as they are worlds to establish one in. If you're interested, hit me up and we can work on a plot that appeals to us both.
The plot will take place in the distant future, several centuries after scientists attempt to genetically engineer super soldiers. They spliced the DNA of various animals into those of people. It was widely successful, and was considered the biggest scientific breakthrough of the decade, but as these modified hybrids grew older, they also grew more wary of the people who created them. Realizing the scientists were far weaker than them, they rebelled, and sparked a great war which ended with the hybrids enslaving humanity.
What became of this long, bloody revolution was a civilization dominated by shape-shifters. Their entire society is governed by raw strength, which keeps those unblessed with these talents in check. Their world is divided into three classes, much like ours. At the top are the Elite. These consist of a few Clans unrivaled in power and importance, with each Clan consisting of shape-shifters who all share the same animal, and each Clan being appointed as governors over specific territories. The list includes Clan Pardus, clan of cats. Clan Avem, clan of raptors. Clan Elephas, clan of elephants. Clan Lupus, clan of wolves. Clan Anguis, clan of snakes. Clan Simia, clan of apes. Each Clan is governed by a Clan Leader, and each leader consists of members of the King's Council. The King is the only one who the Elite bow to, and it's not a position of patriarchy. The children of the Clan Leaders, once they're of age, all compete for the position of King and Queen in shows of raw physical strength. The male and female victors stand next in line for the throne and become a mated pair.
Below the Elite are a middle-class group known as the Betas. They're all shape-shifters like the Elite, but lack the same physical prowess, and as such have no political influence. The list of clans which fall under this category is broad, but to give you an idea of who might qualify for this, there is Clan Vulpes, clan of foxes. Clan Equus, clan of horses. Clan Mus, clan of mice. Clan Canis, clan of dogs. Etc. The Betas consist of your business owners, your soldiers, and your everyday citizens. They're all hybrids though, which still puts them at a higher rank than the class below them.
Finally, there is the lower class. They technically have a clan, but it's not a flattering title. Clan Invalidum, clan of people. These are your farmers, and the fodder you'd send to die on a bloody battlefield. They have no rights as citizens, and aren't allowed into major cities (such as the Capital, where the King and Queen reside). Occasionally, a Beta or even Elite might be stripped of their powers as punishment for a crime and be demoted to this Clan, but for the most part this group includes those who weren't descendants from the original hybrids.
The gates of hell were said to open onto Earth, unleashing the souls of the damned to wander among the living. That is to say, that a plague swept through the streets of every city and neighborhood, reverting people to savage cannibals that terrorize the few that remain. It wasn't until this chaos began to settle into normalcy that rumors of a new threat began to emerge. Possibly a source for the disease. People reported seeing men walking among the infected, despite not being one of them. They were reported as being elusive, but much more dangerous than any of the infected. Groups of people were slaughtered horrifically in ways that the infected would never be able to do. These men possessed unfathomable powers that were unlike those of mortals. What these were varied between each of the four men, but they all consisted of dark magic. They were the four princes of hell, sent to walk the Earth and bring humanity to its knees... Or at least that's what everyone says about them. No one's been able to ask them, and if they were they didn't live to tell about it.
