the premise.

In this world, there are many gods, and of these many gods there are many soldiers called 'deraphim' (derived from the word 'seraphim', the highest ranking of angels in the Christian Bible). These deraphim take upon the visage that their master god would want -- for example, deraphim of the goddess Antana (the god of nature and rebirth) have light hair and pastel eyes, and higher ranking deraphim have beastlike attributes.

Two of the major gods, T'vanij (the god of justice and order) and Vixlin (the god of chaos and destruction) have been locked in an eternal stalemate since their conception and birth. The brothers constantly battle for social and emotional dominance over the people of this unnamed world.

The Sovereign Deraphim of the god T'vanij and the Viscount Deraphim of the god Vixlin are the products of this stalemate. In an attempt to create champions to fight in their name, as they are not allowed to, Vixlin took the heart of a bull and the hair of a siren to create a warrior that uses trickery and deceit in order to best their enemies. Consequently, T'vanij held liquid steel in his hand and forged a mask which he donned upon the babe of a mighty elk, giving grace a mortal form.

While these champions have never met, the Fates have other plans. Where their relationship with one-another will go, destiny only knows.

- I would prefer to play the deraphim of T'vanij, the 'champion of justice and order', but if you are super attached to that character, I don't mind to play the other.
- I am an 'advanced' roleplayer, and would prefer to reply with 3-7 paragraphs at a time, but if you need to go smaller or larger, just let me know.
- I want you to play a good part in worldbuilding and character develop as I do, so if you would like to discuss anything beforehand, please let me know.
- I am alright with mature themes such as war, sexual nature, alcohol and drugs, violence, coarse language, etc.

the premise.

They were like two peas in a pod in middle school. To the passerby, they would think that it was a schoolyard crush, with the little gloved hands wrapped up in each other, earbuds connecting little boy and little girl as starry eyes marveled at the idols they held so dear. Glasses and braces clinked; chests developed and voices deepened. They smiled at one another, laughing and smiling all the while.

They were going to be IDOLS.

Fast forward ten years. Age 22 & 23, respectively, both signed on YB entertainment-- the girl, a rapper and the top of her game (for a rookie), and the boy, one of the shining maknae of the rising groups.

YB has a plan, though: Competition is getting tough to battle with. Why not a powerful duo that breaks through musical and powerful boundaries? And a couple kisses for the camera are always a good thing.

There are tales of a woman who made a deal with the D E V I L ; blood mages are a dangerous force. And yet, she smiles with the smile of a child and her hands are crafted to heal as well. Sleeping in silence, playing the pet of the First Enchanter, the story of Rosaire Amell was something that was commonplace in the Ferelden Tower of Magi.

And now they gave the girl an army.

She stands before you now, Alistair Theirin, and she is broken and she is bruised. She bears the burden of your sin so that you do not have to. What do you do? Do you take the hand of the only remaining Grey Warden after the Betrayal of Ostagar? Or do you turn away from her, do you frown upon her because there are things you do not yet know about her?

Your role, whether you know it or not, is to take her by the hand, gripping her scarred flesh tightly in yours, smiling at her. You will protect her, you promise, and you will help her rebuild the Grey Wardens of Ferelden, the ancient heroes of old. So stop smiling at her like that, you blonde idiot. You two have work to do.

But with every beautiful person is their ugly secrets, and you're determined to find out just what this woman ( you remember her name well, 'Rosaire Amell'; a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. ) is hiding.

Your name is Alistair Theirin, and to many, you're the awkward and young bartender at the Tower speakeasy -- they know the one, with the foreign piano player from Antiva, the next city over, and the beauty of a chanteuse, Leliana -- but to those who get to see you on the off-hand, they know you as much more. The boss likes you; Duncan likes you. He saw the potential in you, and he wanted you for the his elite group of criminal, the Grey Wardens. Protectors of the Common Folk. Taking down the big men one bastard at a time.

There's a woman, another woman. Kings have lovers; this is nothing new. After all, you are the product of such. But this woman is your woman, the woman you have loved for ages, and only one thing is stopping her from being on that throne next to you right now: Her title.

First Enchanter Rosaire Amell is your lover, the woman of the shadows. It's rare when she requests an audience, but you know when it's coming. You can see her handwriting in the letters, and she's sure to enchant the papers for you; they smell like her. Lavender and honeysuckle, you remember. As if you forgot.

With a hasty signature, you accept her request for an audience, and plead with her to let you pick the location this time. A smile runs across your lips-- to the garden, Romeo, where no one else is allowed to see your Juliet.
