"Hey kids, wanna see a dead body?!" - Roseaver before throwing a dismembered body into a crowd of screaming children.

Name:
Roseaver (His name beforehand has been long forgotten)

Age:
22 Physically | 4492 Biologically

Race:
Unknown, seemingly Vampiric.

Gender:
Male

Affiliation:
Council of the Damned
Halax'zen

Height:
6ft 4"

Weight:
64Kg | 141lbs

Backstory:

Where do I begin with this long and tragic story? Over four millennia ago he lived as a regular teenager within a noble family, nothing of importance, a threat was growing in Arkus, a threat known simply as the Bolter'aak Empire ruled by King Jad, he and his minions were spreading like a wildfire, taking towns, cities, villages, everything into their control; and they were coming for Roseaver's family next. They refused, which resulted in their slow deaths... Bolter'aak elites rushed their castle, took them into the courtyard and burnt them alive in a compiled group, save for Roseaver, he was forced to watch as they died screaming; these Elites were not like any other warrior, their "magic" was beyond comprehension, they had the capability to force multiple people into a still state, encased in a red orb as they were powerless to move, blink, the only thing they could do was speak. The citizens were next... Roseaver was cast out to die, he stumbled away as his home was burnt to ash; he had nothing else to live for, no family, everyone he'd once loved butchered in front of him. He was going to end his suffering by throwing himself off a jagged cliff, he faced the ocean, crashing waves beneath him as cold, moist wind rushed up to him. He jumped. Then he changed his mind. He screamed in agony, but as he looked down he hadn't even reached the floor yet, but he did notice that he was being dissipated, as if he was being shredded by a thousand blades, soon he was nothing but a bloody mist. Within seconds he was back up the top of the cliff completely fine, but as he looked up he saw a levitating figure; piercing red eyes looking into the depths of his soul. Halax'zen himself had presented himself before Roseaver. The Blood God said that he needed some entertainment, and so he forced his "gift" upon Roseaver. He felt no stronger, only the same misery that he had before, but he didn't dare question the Blood God's gift. "You may be killed, but you will return minutes later. Death will NEVER be the end, you will always return. Reap your VENGEANCE.", those were the final words of Halax'zen before returning back to where he came from.

Confused and still suicidal, he threw himself off the cliff once again, but this time he wasn't stopped... he hit the ground as his bones shattered, but he didn't die? His blood that decorated the nearby rocks seeped back into his body, and his bones reconstructed himselves. The only thing he accomplished by doing that was earning himself an extremely long walk back up to the surface. Over the next few months he began his vengeance rhythm, hunting down every Elite that forced innocent people into their terrible reign, his final target would be King Jad, and he would enjoy ripping out his spine. Roseaver demonstrated the full extent of his power, reanimating some Elite that he saw as actual people, and not mindless monsters that would slaughter those that defied them. Two Elites he reanimated became his closest companions over the millennia, Cpt. Valkris and Gelsahrak. However, there was one Elite Roseaver didn't kill... in fact, he fell in love. Now, Roseaver refuses to share any information on his past, or about this Elite he fell in love with, not even the gender of the Elite, only that they were later publically executed, the fact that Roseaver couldn't save the one he loved broke him even further, if that were even possible. To finish this dark story, Roseaver murdered King Jad and kept his skull as a reminder to his power. Halax'zen was so pleased with Roseaver's performance that he decided to let Roseaver keep his immortality.

Rosever can sometimes be known as the "Blood Wolf", he isn't a Saavrak, but he can temporarily metamorph himself into a wolf-like status; an ethereal sub-human travelling at an immense speed to sever limbs with it's devestating claws, and bite huge chunks of flesh with it's humungous jaws.

Now back to present day, Roseaver has let go of his past, now a much more calm man; still incredibly murderous and whatnot, but calmer. Valkris and Gelsahrak still accompany him acting as his guards. Roseaver began to grow close to the Incubus known as Tenshi, and vice versa for Tenshi. In combat, when together, they prove to be rather efficient; Roseaver holds back enemies that get too close to Tenshi, and Tenshi blasts a 8" hole in their chest, at any distance.

Flaws:
1. Insanely reckless, often resulting in serious injuries.
2. Burns in sunlight
3. Suffers from night terrors
4. Violent outbursts due to flashbacks

"I'm not going to kill him, I'm going to BREAK him."

Name:
Imperion Bryus Inaera Shadowbreaker III

Age:
74 Physically | 142 Biologically

Race:
Human

Gender:
Male

Affiliation:
Order of the Three Lights

Height:
6ft 6"

Backstory:

Imperion was there before Ko'roth's ascension, Imperion watched as he became a broken man and took up the mantle as the "First Warlock". Even though he was around 14 at the time, he was still Ko'roth's superior. Time passed as Imperion grew up to be one of the most powerful Paladins in millennia, being one of the four leaders of the Order of the Three Lights, it's no surprise he ranked that high. Even in his elder years, Imperion still manages to take down some of the most formidable foes.

The old Paladin has a daughter named 'Alleria Shadowbreaker', the identity of her mother is kept a secret among the four leaders, even Alleria herself has no information of the other half of her parentage, but one thing is certain; she is a confirmed Nephilim, a very powerful one at that. Imperion is very protective of his daughter, even at one point throwing his hammer at the jaw of a guard flirting with her, he still can't eat soup correctly.

Imperion has a deep hatred for the Council of the Damned, he has attempted assaults on Xanderath on many occasions, each one failing. Imperion has a certain method for punishing those that dare defy his terrifying rule; he likes to watch them suffer, breaking their legs and watching them try to crawl away to safety, disturbing yet truthfully rather amusing.

Flaws:
1. Incredibly arrogant
2. Ill tempered
3. Slight sadist
[NPC]

"It is highly advised you start running now..."

Name:
Alleria Aurora Shadowbreaker

Age:
32 Physically | 49 Biologically

Race:
Human Nephilim

Gender:
Female

Affiliation:
Order of the Three Lights

Height:
5ft 11"

Backstory:

The daughter of Imperion Shadowbreaker, however she is nothing like her father, she had a rebellious side. Dabbling with dark magics of the Council, on one or two occasions sneaking into Xanderath itself just to attend Loremaster Abel Samuellson's classes about the History of Arkus, or even Aydin Nerov himself teaching the basics, which she adapts to fairly easily. The reason she hasn't been recognized nor ripped apart from the combination of Fel and Aether, is because she is in fact a Nephilim, but better yet, a shapeshifting Nephilim; managing to change her form, hair, eyes, height, build and so forth in a manner of minutes. Though shapeshifting isn't a part of being a Nephilim, it is certain that her mother, whoever it may be, was certainly not normal.

Alleria holds no hatred for the Council of the Damned, though she does despise Lithoth a tad... but who doesn't?

Flaws:
1. Doesn't know her own power
2. Nephilim, hunted by powermongers
3. Prone to violent outbursts

"What is this dragon doing here?"

Name:
Aydin Nerov

Age:
25

Race:
Half-elf

Gender:
Male

Height:
5ft 3"

Weight:
67kg | 147lbs

Birthday:
Unknown

Affiliation:
The Council of the Damned (Currently Overlord)
House Nerov

Background:

Aydin, the Master Warlock, currently the leader of the Council of the Damned, alongside his sister, Kiara Nerov, the infamous Lithoth, Xelhobin the Shade, Arkaedus, and finally Geros. Aydin's background is a complex one; he's not a true Nerov, he was found at a very young age by Alexi and Prim Nerov, who at the time already had three children; Maikos, Xepiroth and Kiara, two sons and one daughter. They had the choice to either let Aydin die or take him in as one of their own, odd how one decision changed the course of humanity for hundreds of years to come, it was because of the Council that Warlocks rose out from their hiding place to fight against the Order. Now, of course 'Aydin' isn't his true name, no one knows what his true name is, nor does anyone know of his true parentage; though Alexi did mention that something about the infant was off, and I don't mean the pointy ears. Aydin is the youngest of the four, being just over a year younger than Kiara.

Aydin had a fairly normal childhood, growing up alongside his newfound siblings; there were one or two paranormal incidents that seemed to circulate around Aydin, as well as an attempted assassination of Alexi and Prim. Lithoth, known as the "Plaguebringer", acted as their butler in service to the Nerovian household... Kiara however was never really fond of him, probably due to his slightly idiotic nature, nonetheless Lithoth provided protection, being a powerful Warlock and all that. Once Aydin and Kiara reached the age of 16-17, they left home in order to become a regular Warlock; little did they know that they'd become the two most powerful Warlocks in existance. The two decided to drag Lithoth along as well to act as a "pack mule" and as a shield, him being mostly undead has many advantages; Lithoth was never overly fond of becoming the literal embodiment of a pin cushion. After a month or so travelling between towns, they were abruptly halted by a dark figure, they were told nothing other than to wait within the upstairs room in the closest inn until nightfall, and so they did, willingly for some reason. They met the dark figure again, but he was different this time, this time he explained himself, who he was, he was Ko'roth, he was only in the presence of the three for a few minutes, instructing them to travel east and build a city; "You will find help there." he said before fading into the shadows. Now, more confused than a drunken dwarf with a concussion, they headed east, and there, in a hardly developed miniscule village, they encountered Geros, they were a tad skeptical with Geros at first, but after he demonstrated his demonic capability, they agreed to Ko'roth's terms; and over 7 years, Xanderath, with an immense Demon work force, was constructed.

Years passed, and a small town had turned into one of the biggest cities in Aeolus, the Council had risen as six powerful Warlocks under the watch of Ko'roth. Despite being one of the most powerful Warlocks in a hundred years, Aydin doesn't plan things out, thus making him reckless, which thankfully Kiara is there to stop him from doing some incredibly stupid things. Though he is short, he does have a rather muscular build belying the armour. Oh, Aydin also has a tremendous fear of Ghouls, which explains the fact that he doesn't touch Necromancy as much as the other subjects, as well as intentionally keeping his distance from Arkaedus.

Flaws:
1. Horrid fear of Ghouls
2. Overly reckless
3. Suffers from ADD
4. Short stature
I'm off to bedsies, tomorrow I'm gonna work on this a bit more, add more NPCs and hopefully finish the Lore.
Over time I'm gonna create a gargantuan compendium consisting entirely of every single NPC in this Roleplay... it'll definately take a long time. Infact this post will be the compendium; slowly editing it over time, adding more and more characters gradually.
@MonkeyBusinessCreate a character bio and whatnot and I'll review it's compatability. In the meantime I shall relax for an hour and play Diablo. DEMON HUNTERZ YEYUUHHH.
@MonkeyBusiness Immortal in what way, and how would he/she have gained said immortality?
The Council of the Damned: Anametha

General stuff/intro:

Third time now I've had to write up to 30,000-40,000 characters on a simple introduction, yet every time my computer buggers up I fail to save it. But any who, welcome to the Council of the Damned, an expansive universe I've crafted over the last few years, mostly out of boredom however. I've been inspired by many things, Game of Thrones, Diablo 3, music primarily; though however I have unintentionally copied some things, sometimes creating something so similar to something else I hadn't even heard of at the time... the most notable example being the "Wall of Noduz" within my universe, a gargantuan and ancient (Yet ruined) wall stretching across a large segment in one of the main continents; it's primary function is to keep certain dark creatures magically locked inside the Black Forest... if you hadn't guessed yet I've accidentally copied The Wall from the GoT series... note that I created this Noduz Wall years ago, so I hadn't even heard of GoT at that point... my point is, no one is original, even if it is accidental.

Most of my shit -- mostly monsters and creatures and whatnot -- has been inspired by the music I listen to... which is 99% Dubstep, so it's blatantly obvious which song inspired me to create gigantic 100ft long monstrous centipedes that can take down colossal giants. *Cough*

Now! Onto the Lore of this big ass universe, I'm sure you'll love this giant read, lucky for you I'm putting it all in Hiders so you won't get a massive wall of text to the face just yet, AND I'm greatly cutting it down, getting rid of the unimportant parts that most likely won't appear in this Roleplay.

NOTE: I haven't fully completed all of the Lore just yet, so be patient while I use my head parts to think of more crap! :D

Summary:

> There are three main factions, the Council of the Damned, the Order of the Three Lights, and the Blademasters of Karanos.
> There are also 5 types of Magic: Null, Arcane, Aether, Mortis and Fel.
> The name of the planet is Arkus.
> Arkus holds a total of 6 continents: Aeolus, Sornatis, Karanos, Mana, Unik and Anthir.
> A total of 14 races inhabit Arkus, though not all of them will be playable.
> Warlocks & Paladins have been at war ever since Warlocks were created over 120 years ago.
> 18 Old Gods wander Arkus, Half-Gods that were once mortal. They are separated into two groups, 9 are Evil, and the other 9 are Good.
> The Twisting Abyss is the equivalent of Hell, as is the Ascension the equivalent of Heaven.
> Warlocks and Paladins age slower (2.2 years = 1 year) once they reach past the age of 18, after they reach that point, they age slower.
> Behemoths are by far the most dangerous creatures in Arkus, being composed of Null, they range from 50ft to 400ft. They are purely elemental, coming in many different shapes and forms.
> If your Warlock/Paladin character is past the age of 18, to figure out their physical age, subtract 18 from his/her biological age, the divide that number by 2.2, the add 18. e.g. Imperion is 142. 142 - 18 = 124. 124 / 2.2 = 56. 56 + 18 = 74. His physical age is 74. You can either be complex and do this, or just make up any random number.

Gods & Old Gods

Right, now that you've gotten through all that nonsense, it's time to read even more nonsense to create a character!
