@Irihi
Netzir smirked at your challenging comment.
"By 'honest,' you mean glamorous. My parents are merchants and traders, and the only thing keeping them from blatantly lying to customers is a reputation to uphold. That doesn't mean they aren't good at what they do, or that it isn't hard to do it.
Netzir checked his nails, and smiled again. They're painted in tones of vibrant blue and purple, in line with the rest of his getup.
"Also, I'm a versatile mage. As in, I can do anything. Just tell me what you want to see, and I can conjure it from beautiful crystal."
As usual, but now moreso than before, Netzir is dripping with confidence.
@Moonberry
Netzir rolled his eyes dramatically in response to the bartender.
"You people of the temperate lands, no appreciation for magical artistry. In the desert lands, people appreciate good entertainment. Oh well, I suppose I'll have to find a new set of tricks to convince people to give me free stuff."
Netzir turned to the conversation between Juniper and the cloaked stranger.
"I hear talk about danger. If you're going to rush headfirst into it, I'm ready to go along with you. After all, better to cut the head off the snake and risk getting bit in the fight than let it bite you while you sleep."
He seems confident, as if expecting a straightforward quest.
@Moonberry
Netzir captured a piece on the board, and smirked knowing he was about to do something mischievous. The captured piece shattered into several slim shards, which shot into the ceiling and embedded into the surface like darts.
"Oh, what a mess."
He smirked, seeing that he was getting on the bartender's nerves.
He then held a pawed hand into the air, which caused the flechettes to dissipate into sparkly dust that begun to gracefully descend upon the bar.

"See? Pretty. Nobody can do interior design quite like I can."
He said with a flaunting gesture, pride clear in his voice.
"I just can't help but think that this place could use... Well, a lot. I mean, what kind of aesthetic are you going for, rustic drab?"
He looks for the bartender's reaction, hoping to have gotten into his head at this point. He then speaks with a more persuasive tone.
"But, you know, I could transform this place into the best looking bar in the region. I'm sure you can make a fine drink, but you could really use my help to upgrade your ambiance. I could do all of that for you, just for a simple favor in return. Because I'm just so kind."
Netzir looks uninterested in the bard as he manifests a chess board from crystal. When he moves a white piece, a black one moves on its own, as if an invisible man had been playing as well. The crystals are all part of one being that accompanies Netzir, which is why Netzir is able to play chess with it.
"Adventure awaits all of us here who have come in search of it."
He plays another move on his sentient chessboard.
"Musician, sing us something inspirational. I can pay you more of those beautiful crystals if you sing something truly galvanizing. And if you're wondering about their worth, those crystals are made of pure magical energy, and are concentrated enough to where your local street Illusionist would pay a small fortune for the lot of them."
@Irihi
Netzir twirls shards of iridescent crystal in his furry hands. Then, with a flick of his wrist, they turn into an imitation of a swan, which flies into his glass of water and gracefully floats on the water's surface. Despite his hands being occupied, he dedicates his mind to the winged lady speaking.
"For as much as you talk, you sure don't have a lot to say." He says with a cocky smile, before the crystal swan in his glass disippates and he takes a sip, sparkling specks fluttering with light as the water flows towards the drinker.
He speaks again after setting down his glass.

"I am Netzir. I will tell you what you may wish to know, and as much as I see fit to share. These crystals are all part of a being which has bound itself to me; in essence, we are an extension of each other. It navigates the world through me, and I help others with their problems through it."
@Irihi
Netzir was not drinking the water he had requested, but rather swirling it in circles as if to create a whirlpool. This was what his focus was on until the Aerial had sat next to him, to which he glanced towards them while continuing to circulate the glass.
"Indeed, always refreshing to have a light drizzle. Oh, and it's 'fuzzball supreme' to you." He responded with slyness, trying to match your sarcasm. But he was also intrigued about your intent in being here.
"So, is it the lovely weather or the sociable atmosphere that made you come in?"
A blue furred beastman can be seen in the distance, barely illuminated by the glow of the streetlamps. He is wearing an ornate coat, of a design typically associated with a more feminine manner of dress, which looks to have been decorated with iridescent purple gemstones. Hovering above his shoulder is another strange stone, which floats idly although does not veer away from the airspace above his shoulder. When he comes upon the man playing the instrument, he attentively listens for a moment, even leaving a shard of beautiful crystal as a gratuity, before entering the tavern.
When he enters the tavern, everything about his appearance draws attention, especially his magical crystal. With so many eyes on him, he smiles in satisfaction, but does not yet address the crowd. Instead, he simply sits at the bar.
The bartender seems wary. Despite this beastman being slim and easy to mistake for a girl at first glance, his strange crystal indicates hidden capabilities that everyone would rather have not tested the extents of.

"What would you like to drink?" The bartender asks, not letting some basic magic intimidate him.
The beastman answers casually, as if to tease the other patrons who thought to take him as a potential threat.
"Just some water, thank you." Is his response.
The bartender nods, then asks another question as he fixes a glass of water: "What's your name, stranger?"
Netzir grabs the glass as its set on the counter, and sips before answering as if to add an element of suspense. Finally, he answers: "Netzir. And if you want to know why I'm here? First and foremost, I'm a traveler. I just happened to see that there's some sort of trouble here. I want to help you with your problem."
The crystal pulsates as if expressing agreement. Netzir looks at it and smiles, then returns his gaze to the bartender, expressing a desire for information through his facial expression.
