Kain returned a serious stare at Daniel when the vampire's eyes came across him. He kept quiet until the situation seemed to die down then sat down with a heavy huff, glancing at each person. I guess I won't be sleeping for a long time.. The lycan thought, his eyes closing half way as he reflected the recent events between the three subjects. Soon, the lycans eyes were locked on the trash talking hunter, giving the man a glare with no word coming from his mouth. Soon, a weak, hoarse yet familiar voice broke the brief moment of silence, the voice of the injured reverend.

“J..Judge not, and you will not be judged... condemn not, and you will not be condemned." Alfons said, grunting as he tried to sit up. His wounds had healed somewhat, but when he sat up some of the cuts re-opened, letting him loose more blood.. Thank god blood loss isn't a problem for a typical lycan. "F-forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6, 37." His pained eyes scanned the room, and finally the reverend shook his head. "This devil spawn wanted us to go against each other, become the monstrous demons we try not to be... He is succeeding. You all have lost faith... I do not blame you... But don't target an angel for your anger or a mortal.. Remember who is responsible for your suffering."
FOR THOSE STILL STUCK ON WRITER'S BLOCK: Feel free to PM me. Sorry for my negligence!
"I can see why." Kain said, growling quietly before turning away from the man, giving Kaori a look as he approached her and whispered into her ear. "You don't turn to him, you don't fight him. Do you understand Kaori?" The lycan asked, firmly placing a pawish hand on the shoulder his muzzle hovered over before he pulled away, clearing his throat. "The injuries I gave him were not fatal. He will recover, but it takes time. You of all people should know that, you cut and stab me more than I had cut him in that room. If he can survive you he can sure as hell survive a knife and a few fingernail pulling. It seems to me Alfons isn't looking too fortunate, though..." He said, glancing over at the unconscious reverend with a sigh.

"They didn't even let him bring his bible. He is going to lament over that real har-" The lycan was cut off by the scruffle nearby and quickly rushed over to pull the vampire away, cursing under his breath while he did so. He was pretty confident the human would lunge at the vampire and was prepared to give him a nasty kick if he did so, everything escalated PRETTY quickly with the lycan's back turned. It was a relief to him Daniel was able to control his feeding.

"Alright gentlemen! You got everything you need to know, and everything we need you to do." Gerard exclaimed over the sounds of the Huey helicopter rotor that held them above the ocean surface. They were a good half mile off of the coast of the island and they were given the green light to infiltrate the area. There were the agents in the helicopter along with four DevGru units who seconds later rolled out of the helicopter into the ocean, the helicopter ascending to the sky afterwards to get to safety. Four men, the first men to be deployed in this mission.

Present Time

They were like sharks emerging from the surf, the four special forces soldiers with their weapons ready, slowly creeping up to the beach and sneaking their way inland. It was only when they found a area to conceal in did they take off their diving suits to reveal their camouflage clothing and their BDU caps. Once properly dressed for a scouting operation four shadows now creep through the vegetation until they would find a clearing, one that was perfect to drop off the first wave of units.

There was no direct contact yet, but that didn't stop them from making sure the area was safe. One of the operatives, carrying a sniper with a special scope on it, climbed up a tree to find a vantage point towards the facility ahead, the Fallen Shadows facility. There, he peered into the scope, and over times a series of markings appeared, highlighting weapons and heat signatures within range. It wouldn't be long until he nodded ahead, giving the other three the go to start some chaos that would shroud the helicopter's entry. "This is sierra one, we got armed targets patrolling and on the defensive. They look like they're itching triggers."

"This is TOC... You're clear to engage. Practice self-safety and justify your kills. Lets not go off killing lab coats and unarmed office clerks."

"Understood." With that, the team moved in, weapon at the ready to secure their LZ. Everything happened like a flash, a pop here, a yelp there, the sound of bushes being crushed somewhere as the closest security guards dropped, and that was when the green light on the whole operation was called out.

"Be advised, all units, green smoke will mark the LZ. Area secured, mission is a go." The sniper announced, shifting into a seating position on the branch he was on so he could pitch a smoke grenade, a trail of green smoke trailing up to the sky after the loud popping noise sliced through the silence. It was time for an offensive...
Kain straightened himself in a standing position while still in his wolfish form when the conflict rose between Kaori and the man. He simply glanced from one person to the other depending on who spoke, taking in everything that was said. Daniel must've slipped the truth. The Lycan thought, taking a few breaths and holding himself back from mediating the argument like he usually would.

Over time, the threats seemed to get to his head and eventually the Lycan stepped forward, glancing from the man to the girl who he knew. First, his eyes went to the man, the Lycan himself clearing his throat. "May I suggest you check your views, mister human. Look around, you're surrounded by those you hate and you still shoot your mouth off as if we can take your words and hold ourselves back from giving you a well... Hatred fueled response. I know your hatred, almost every hunter like you has it. As I can recall.. The Nazis have it, white supremacist have it, shit... Perhaps every man has it. We have it too, us well as you would describe 'monsters'. " He said, pausing for a second before approaching the man just a few steps, muttering something under his breath so that only the human could hear.

"Its the bastards like me and you that cause these illogical hate crimes in the first place. Now, you can either listen very closely to me, or your chances of surviving this hell spawn's trap will diminish. Not because of me, or that vampire over there... But because your ignorance will gain you no allies, and your ignorance will get you killed." After saying that a smile formed on the furry lycan while he waited for a response, occasionally glancing over at Kaori to make sure she was still at bay.

Spencer's Mill

Gerald, the newly met wolf listened carefully to the man's words, taking in his name, his status with other survivors, and his condition. Hearing about the man's family the wolf couldn't help but frown and avert his eyes from Jeff, his ears drooping slightly as a sign of his sadness for the man. "Wow... Sorry for the loss. Guess you don't think about the folks you lost until someone else talks about their people."

The depression state returned to a drive to stay alive though when Jeff brought up their current situation into speech. With ears perking up, the wolf nodded once more and tried to crouch down beside the man, his hand that was rummaging through his bag emerging with a Molotov cocktail. "Or.. We could use a firebomb. These things don't like to be burned to ashes but it keeps us alive." He said, smiling down at the shooter while waiting for a response.

The wolfman took a moment to survey the area while he still could, observing the church, the houses, and then the veterinary clinic down the road. He caught a horde circling around a vehicle near the construction site, but what had his attention was the one responsible for discharging a firearm. "H-hey! Over there!" He exclaimed, nearly yanking on the man's collar in order to turn him towards the conflict nearby. "Use your rifle on them crazies over there! I'll burn the jerks below us... Or do you think I should radio home for help? That might be risky..."

At the construction site, a roar could be heard inside when the doctor was spotted. Seconds later zombies started pouring out, charging the truck the survivor was in. One of the undead creatures threw himself against the passenger side door, giving the survivor a brief image of his enraged, blood covered face before the creature pulled away and began wailing on the door, trying to break in to grab the man. The others were circling around the truck, some human while others looked like bloody, fur ruffled monsters with fatal injuries that would've killed a typical man.

With all this happening around the pickup truck it was safe to say the doctor was okay if he managed to close the door. The interior looked pristine, promising a working vehicle... But only one thing will have the final say in that matter; the keys that rested in the ignition.

Marshall City
As the mechanic approached the vehicle the dead thing slowly turned it's head towards the living person, growling and snapping at him as if trying to bite a chunk out of him. It wasn't movi.g, and didn't seem to be moving any time soon... But the gurgling, moaning, and growling seemed to sound more loud and aggressive the closer the man got to a jeep. It would be only a matter of time before the sound attracted trouble if it wasn't dealt with.

Getting a good glimpse of him though showed two things: one, he was wearing a police uniform and two, one of his hands clutched to a doll, the other one having a death grip on a blood covered night stick. It was one of the sheriff's deputies, one of the many who had a family and one of the millions who were slain in the outbreak. The gunfire continued but then a inhuman screech pierced the sounds of the fight and within minutes, the sounds of guns going off ceased. It was unknown if the courthouse survived or fell against its fight against the cannibalistic zombie hordes... But something else was out there.

Fairview
The forests seemed more calm than the chaos that was in the neighborhood, aside from a few occasional lingering zombies and the small patrols that the army had deployed it seemed like everything seemed untouched by human industrialism... Despite the fact the apocalypse had hit nature was coursing its way.

The river clearing showed a huge valley created by erosion. There was a bridge to the left leading to Spencer's mill and a bridge to the right leading to Marshall city, both being guarded by guys with guns. On the bridge to Spencer's Mill there was a group of soldiers building up on the Fairview side, one of them having the features of a fox. Like the officer back in the house the fox wore a black BDU cap and no vest. They all were armed and discussing amongst each other, but they were all currently too far away for the father to hear.

Mt Tanner

The clearing revealed two hunters who were surrounded by dead bodies strewn about the field. One of them was covered in blood and had his neck torn out, no signs of life coming from him.

"Jenson.. Cmon man say something!" The living one said, giving his downed comrade a slight jerk before letting go and falling onto his butt, obviously panicking from the whole thing. "Oh my god... He's dead... We we're just coming back from out trip..." It was then he heard Ice's voice and looked up at her, seconds later the dead man sat up and lunged for the hunter, causing them to wrestle around. "Jenson?! What are you doing?!" The so called Jenson was snarling and biting at his old friend while the hunter held him back, confused from the whole thing. Out of the twelve days the zombies walked, this was his first day.
