Above the startled shrieks of citizens and cacophony of canons, a falcons mournful cry could be heard circling overhead; its feathered appendages desperately thrashing at the air as the bird fought to gain altitude, and ultimately, sanctuary from the chaos bellow. It was during these pandemonium moments that Jacquotte wished she could fly with it, arms open wide and head held high - perhaps that was why she preferred sea over sand, and the feeling of the ocean breeze in her hair. And by the way things were turning out, it was a good that she wasn't one to get seasick. "Blasted mutiny... Looks like we be livin' on the water for a while." Jacquotte grimaced as she scrambled to retrieve the remaining resources needed to survive on the deep blue.

As she approached the great ship, Domina Artemis, Jacquotte immediately averted her attention onto the captain and the fellow crew members. Where were the others? Surely there was more? In her head, she would instinctively count those she could visibly make out through the impending smoke.

Back From The Dead Red

Name: Jacquotte Les Hayes (Pronounced Jah-KOT).

Nickname: Back From The Dead Red (Also known simply as "Red").

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Who Did They Support: Pirates

Role: Crew Member

Personality: People-smart and quick-thinking, she reads most intentions better than she reads books; Jacquotte is someone who will keep everyone at an arm's length. However, once someone can get past her walls, they will find a woman who wishes for a more peaceful life than the one she leads. Jacquotte is the last person who will readily let someone into her virtually non-existent social circle, but is nonetheless a loyal friend who keeps those close to her within her reach (and if possible, within eye-shot). Hardworking and earnest, her friendship is hard to gain, but equally hard to lose. Willing to lend a hand to anyone who would ask, she's not so selfish as to abandon those in dire need.

Bio: Jacquotte Les Hayes is an enigma; little is known about her life prior to boarding the ship. Her father was reportedly a Frenchman and her mother, a Haitian woman who was said to have died during childbirth. Jacquotte's nickname comes from the most infamous aspect of her life, where she faked her own death in order to escape her pursuers. From there, she took up a new identity and proceeded to live as a man for several years (Hence her somewhat masculine gestures). Eventually, when the heat died down, she resurfaced with her catchy new moniker, "Back From the Dead Red".

Hobbies: Falconry, Drinking, Casual Sparring.
