Hey, I'm Catharyn! I joined the Roleplayer Guild on 2nd Feb 2011, then rejoined on the 17th Jan 2014 after Guildfall.

I was active every day until late 2015, accruing (i think) around 7k posts across dozens of roleplays. Then, I started working and had to gradually slow down my RP schedule. In 2017, I officially went on hiatus when other commitments got fully in the way of roleplaying.

This continued until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when I suddenly realised I had a lot more free time in lockdown! So in mid-2020, I returned to the Guild with a vengeance. I also managed to get The Cradle 1x1 off the ground - a story i've had percolating for almost a decade.

My posting schedule has slowed down a bit now that the world has opened up again. I still love science fiction, fantasy and espionage themes, and generally aim for around 300 words per post.

That's right.
These Project towers were designed to encompass their entire lives. Most of Babylon doesn't want to see the inhabitants of these towers out in the streets haha. This isn't a tower that conforms to 21st century architecture or expectations. This is at the very least the 31st century, things have got a little more complex. The floors are bigger and contain everything its denizens need.

If they do decide to go ahead with it, and news gets out; this could be one of the sparks that sets the whole city ablaze with revolution. Imagine how it would look if they tried to kill Jack and ended up murdering dozens of unarmed locals instead. Not good for public relations, especially if an independent news drone captures it on film. If Tali is the one to authorize it from the Dart ship that's making its way to the crash site, her job and reputation would be on the line and she'd need all the influence her family possess to keep on top. That's also where Skull's radical news corporation comes in, making sure the footage is aired.

Undoubtedly. Most of the people there might not even have a weapon and some will almost certainly just be watching events unfold.

I'm trying to gauge whether BESC are rash enough to send a gunship and strafe the courtyard through the bay windows. Mow everyone down at the risk of hitting their own enforcers.

To satisfy myself i've edited the last part of my previous post. Not much has changed but i'm happier with it than i was before. It's good to be back.
