Still check in from time-to-time though. This website literally hasn't changed since Mahz migrated it over like 8 years ago lol

BTW, anyone from Minecraft Forum/RPGuild days who remembers me (especially among the Precipice/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon circles), hit me up on PM! I won't reply super quickly but I will eventually hit you guys back!

Iron dat shit out quickly, Seuss, I'm looking forward to this starting.
... I think I need to catch up. Cannibals? On an unrelated note, I was wondering. Should I continue playing as Japan? I feel like Aaron has plans involving it, and I wouldn't want to mess up any storylines by coming in as Imperialist Japan, probably destabilizing Asia. If so, I wouldn't mind taking something else. I didn't really know how interweaved everything in Asia was when I joined.
You've got a few options here, imo: -Stick with Japan and see where you can go with it. As Japan, you're practically one of two (I'm sure Aaron would argue otherwise) powers of East Asia and the only none-Chinese influenced nation east of Kazakhstan. Japan still has a bit of an empire going too, which could lead to some interesting story arcs in the Japanese East Indies concerning rebels, experimentation on natives or even coming into conflict with the British/Australians. -Go with an African country. Africa, as it stands right now, is a pretty canon-empty continent south of the Ethiopian Empire. The power down there goes to South Africa, which are probably the third African "power", if you could call them that. As far as I'm aware (if we're still going with Tempest canon), Mozambique/Tanganyika and Zambia are pretty heavily influenced by Ethiopia while Botswana and Angola are more leaning towards South Africa. Feokris is rebuilding his British Empire, which could lead to some interesting conflicts in that part of the world and this Spanish/Ethiopian conflict could use some commentary from the southern African states. -Go with an North/South American country. The America's were fairly barren from Mihn leaving during MCF up until now, where we now have three players there. South America is known for being a bit of Bermuda Triangle when it comes to players, with people picking up countries and leaving after one or no posts. The only consistent South America player is Mihndar and I'm sure he gets bored down there all by himself. Central America and the Caribbean are brimming with potential. Since France and Britain still maintain a presence in the Caribbean, you're looking at colonial tensions brewing in Jamaica, the Bahama's and the Antilles. Central America has never been touched in this RP, as far as I am aware and anything happening there will be watched closely by Revan and Byrd. North America, you have one choice - Canada. I'm pretty sure Canadas player hasn't been seen in years but his canon on a warlike Canada still stands. Canada invaded Greenland and Alaska, had an oil baron revolution, fought through several wars with its neighbours and is now in the wake of having a large chunk of it's western provinces and former NWC annexed by America. I don't know what you could do with Canada or if any of Arnie's old stuff is even considered canon but the option is there. -Go with a European country. Your final choice is to go with a European/Near East country. Europe is and always has been the continent most populated by players and we've seen various iterations of every single country imaginable in Europe. I think at the moment, not including Evan and I, there are 7 players in Europe and things are looking to kick off in various fronts - Germany is looking at Poland and beyond with hungry eyes (if Hugs would post), Serbia is looking to annex the Balkans and create a Yugoslav state all while the remnants of Turkey are looking to retake Independent Istanbul and go to war with it's former colonies. Europe is a bit tense at the moment and it'll only take a random border conflict to kick off. Also, France is the only current world power that has never had a long-time player, so there's that. Take a look through the map, have a think about what you'd want to do with Japan and then make a decision on what to do - keep going as Japan or look elsewhere in the world. PoW is fairly flexible if you're willing to play by the rules and seeing as you have only posted once in a country with previous canon, I think we can let you off if you decide to choose another country.
Roll me up, bud.
RIP African canon.
South America and Africa are in need of someone.
I think Feo is handling Africa as we speak. :P
I posted. I'm still not happy about the ages of most of the characters but GM's word is law, so I'll go with whatever j8cob says.
Pansy slowly laid the dough onto the flour-coated table and began his work. He kneaded it with his hands, pressing and stretching the damp dough with the heel of his hand before folding it over and flipping it over, sprinkling some flour on top and beginning the process again. It was monotonous but not in a way that bored him. It relaxed him. Along with spending time with his plants, kneading bread was one of the only times he could be alone with his thoughts. In the back room of the bakery, where he was alone for hours at a time with just a bowel of dough and an oven, was where he was probably happiest. The dough flipped for the third time and now that he was satisfied, he carefully placed the floury dough on a peel. Being careful not to drop the bread, he tucked it neatly into the third row of the oven. He rubbed his hands on a spare cloth, removing the flour and excess dough and carefully looking around the small room that he spent most of his days working. A wooden work table lined the longest wall, covered in flour and pieces of loose dough. The floor was paved in tiles, which made most messes easy to clean. The walls above his work table were lined with pots, pans and almost every kind of cooking utensil you could think of. Behind him was a blank wall, it's only feature a wooden door that lead out into the main shop. Ovens covered the remaining wall and due to the constant baking that went on within them, it was always rather stuffy. It was because of the heat that he left the window opposite the ovens ajar and rolled his sleeves up completely. A cool breeze wafted into the room, bringing with it the sounds of the town. Except, there were no sounds. Pansy frowned. He was used to the sound of the town winding down towards the end of the day but he was not used to the deafening sound of silence that had befallen the town. He dropped the cloth onto the work table and strode across to the window. He pulled it open with a slight grunt and stuck his head out of it. He was immediately hit by the mild temperature, that was a cool shock to a face that had sweated in a hot baker for several hours. The street outside his window was completely devoid of all life. Not a sound echoed down the street. Where were the cheeky children who shouted through the window, asking for scraps? Where were the housewives of Krukow who strolled up and down the street, gossiping about politics? Or the workmen, who seemed to have no difference to their inside and outside voices? He grunted in confusion and slammed the window shut behind him. "Hey, Carmena!" he called from the window. From the other side of the door, he heard a shuffling and the door swung open. It was his boss, an older woman known only as Carmena. She handled the business side of the bakery but was still covered in flour and wore an apron. Her salt-and-pepper hair was tied in a tight bun with a hairnet placed tightly above it all. Her skin was a creamy-brown colour, a colour that almost matched her eyes. She was a kindly woman who had employed Pansy for almost 10 years now and he had grown to become a good friend to her. She looked at him expectantly. "Is there something going on?" he asked, gesturing towards the window. "Oh...I don't know, Panny" she said, confused. Panny was a nickname she had developed for him over the years ("I'm not calling you Pansy!") and as far as he knew, she was the only one who used it. She walked up the window, cracked it open and peered out. "Hm" was her only response. Her brow furrowed as she held her ear outside. "Tell you what, Panny. I've got a few deliveries to make but if you'd like, you can do them for me, get some fresh air and maybe try to find out what's going on. Staying in that small room all day isn't healthy!" she smiled. "Okay" he nodded as she led him out to shop. It was rather bare. Behind the counter sat rows of bread and a set of two doors, one of which lead to Carmena's living quarters and the other to the baking room. Apart from the bread on display and the counter, it was an empty shop. Recent events had hit the local economy hard and her shop was no exception. "Here" she shoved a basket of bread into his hands. "Take them to the Simmon's household. And find out what's going on!" With a quick nod, Pansy headed out the door, which tinkled as he opened and closed it. He was in the streets now. And the streets were empty.
I'm a bit concerned over the age of some of the characters we have here. I expected most of us to be inexperienced, 20-somethings who are recruited to an airship to learn the ropes but I didn't expect most of us to be 16-20 year olds. Maybe I'm being pedantic but I feel that a group of people not even fully grown wouldn't be my first choice when choosing the crew to an airship. Can we perhaps bump all our ages up to 20 at least?
None of you should ever try to pick up women. Ever.
Bitches ain't nuthin'.
