Rework please. Great idea needs refining.

Location: Grimm H.S.: Coach's Office

Ashley was a mixed bag of emotions. She had no idea whether she was coming or going and she could tell she had upset Marc. She didn't know what to do or say so she just sat there, silently, letting him leave the room as she just sat, staring at the back of the door. He was being a little melodramatic, she had to admit, but he had just turned her life completely on its head and he didn't even realise. She heard her phone buzzing again and sighed, knowing that it was Al. She didn't want to speak to him right now. She had enough to process without his accusing words piercing through her mind as well. Hell, they were still piercing through her mind before she'd even heard him say anything of the like yet.

Sighing hard, Ashley moved from the chair at the coach's desk and curled up onto the sofa. She knew Marc would need some time alone, and right now, so did she. She'd be safe in this office for now, everyone was right outside so it wasn't as if she was truly alone but it was the most she could get without someone physically being in the same room as her. She curled into the corner, her legs tucked up beneath her as she got herself comfortable. She rested her head on her hands and propped it up with her elbow on the arm of the sofa. She had to gather herself before talking to Marc again. She knew she owed him an apology but he also owed her one. Why admit something like that to someone that is in a relationship? Even if that person may love you back?

Uncertainty washed over Ashley as she thought more and more about everything. What could she do? Her phone began to buzz again and Ashley rubbed her temples before reaching over and grabbing the phone. She pressed the power button and let the phone shut itself down. She was not dealing with Al right now. She had to get her head back on straight first. She needed some alone time. He was going to kill her.

Valona β€œNorsa” Norsys

Location: Storehouse - Gorlf Northern Territory
Interacting With: No one
Interaction Tags: -

Valona had been busy writing in her notes and concerning herself with her current situation to really pay attention to anyone that was around. She had no desire to make friends and even less desire to accept anything from these people. She noted the large, muscular and scarred man offering food for everyone but she didn't even acknowledge this. She remained curled into her corner, legs crossed and scribbling away inside her book. Norsa and Ha'des were still bickering inside her head and it took all she had to focus on drowning them out so that she did not weaken mentally and let Norsa take full control. That would not be good for anyone in the general vicinity as Valona could imagine Norsa trying to help start a fire by casting yet another fireball spell within the storehouse. No one would want that.

Sighing quietly to herself, Valona finished up her notes and bound her book back up. She looked around at the rather large group of people she found herself in the company of and she frowned. Why was she here? She had been travelling alone not hours previously and now suddenly she was pulled into a group of people that she did not know, sitting in a damp, muddy storehouse while the elements outside threatened to flood them out. She didn't ask for this and yet, here she was. She questioned why no one was concerned that she had set the storehouse on fire originally. Well, that Norsa had set it on fire, but perhaps Kyra had not told the others this information just yet which, in all honesty, Valona found odd.

Burying her notebook away into her pack again, wrapping it in the waterproof sheets she had for it, Valona set her pack as a pillow and wrapped herself entirely in her cloak. She was not unfurling her bedroll as she knew she would not sleep for long. A nap was what she would have and it would be enough. She did not plan to do magic again for a while if she could help it. That last surge had been far too much to control. She began to drift off into her usual restless sleep.
sorry for the delayed post but I managed to get it in (by the skin of my fucking teeth)

hope that suits!

Svetlana Volkov

Location: Russian Part of Town: Cafe >> Boston Heights: Her and Lyle's Apartment >> Fleeing from the scene
Current Outfit: Clothing

After Lyle hadn't shown up at home after the events of the block party, Lana had apologised to the officer she had kept waiting and showed them out of the flat, promising to call if she heard from Lyle and inform him that the police wanted to question him. She had been slightly worried but then started to wonder if he was perhaps responsible. He'd clammed up as soon as they'd headed down to the block party yesterday and then had disappeared off by himself. Lana was glad for the vast amount of security that she had not only on the flat itself, but in her own room. Her sleep had been broken last night and she had decided that instead of staying in the flat alone, waiting for Lyle to show up, she would head out for some breakfast and coffee from somewhere.

She'd headed straight for the Russian sector of Justice and found a nice little cafe that would suit her needs. She found a quiet little table away from the main bustle of the kitchen and front counter and set herself up with her surface, searching for leads on work and keeping up to date with the news on the happenings from last night at Boston Heights. She sipped her steaming cup of coffee and set it down gently while continuing to type away on her computer. Her phone began to buzz, shifting itself on the flat surface of the cafe table and she raised a brow. No one usually called her, perhaps it was Lyle? She frowned and picked up her phone, looking at the display. Unknown Number. Not unusual for Lana to get those, maybe it was work from some underground contacts.

Lifting the phone to her ear she listened to the peculiar voice from beyond. No introduction wasn't unusual, weird voice also wasn't unusual, not being able to place the voice as male or female? Rather peculiar but not entirely uncommon. The content of the call however, made her eyes widen in surprise. A file of Lyle's? What had he done now... The call ended before she could say anything. Was that Lyle? What was he hiding now? She'd have to find out. Gathering her items together quickly, Lana packed her bag up and gave a sorrowful look towards her half drank mug of coffee before standing up from her seat. That's when the screen changed in the cafe and the news began to roll out.

Lana held her hand up to her mouth and stared at the screen as it announced Lyle's death. What had he been tied up in? Gathering herself quickly, Lana departed from the cafe and made her way out onto her motorcycle. She sped through the streets, without drawing too much attention of course, and made it back to Boston Heights. She parked up and made a b-line straight for her flat, trying not to run too quickly as she did. She made it to the flat and opened up the door, locking it up tightly behind her and made her way directly to Lyle's room.

It was an absolute clusterfuck of files and folders... This was going to take some time. At least it wouldn't be obvious that anyone had been going through the files considering the absolute mess of them. She wondered why a lawyer didn't have a better filing system and groaned inwardly about Lyle and his nonsense. Had anyone heard or seen her then it would seem like she was cold hearted, and in a sense, she was. She just didn't grow attached to people because she knew it always led to heartache and pain, so it really wasn't worth the effort. After about an hour of searching, Lana found the file and she pumped her fist in success. Did she want to know what was inside this? Her curiousity was winning out but she had been asked to get rid of it.

She took a good ten minutes before she decided to open the file and look at what was inside.

Lorna Dunn

Location: Boston Heights: Apartment 2D

Lorna had been out from early in the morning; doing her usual running route. She hadn't asked Alicia to come with her this time because she needed some time to herself. She enjoyed the pounding of her blood in her ears, her feet slapping on the asphalt and the wind cooling the slick sweat on her skin as she ran. It always helped to focus her and she was half tempted to do some free running but figured that, after what had happened to Danica, it would be best to keep in sight of people. After her run she had headed back and slipped into the shower and then made her way back to her bedroom to do her routine of sit ups, push ups, lunges, pull ups, weight lifting, the works.

She heard Alicia getting back from her workout and listened to the pipes running with water as she finished up her workout regime. That's when she started chasing her from the kitchen and Lorna couldn't help but smirk. That woman always knew how wrapped up Lorna got in her regimen. "Yeah, yeah. Just five more reps!" She completed her circuit and stretched herself out, cooling down her muscles. She got dressed and made her way out from her bedroom, seeing Alicia with her leftovers and coffee. Lorna wrinkled her nose and gagged at the smell of the coffee. "Don't get why ya even drink that shit." She grabbed a couple protein bars out of the box sitting on the counter by the toaster and began to chow down.

Leaning against the counter, Lorna turned to watch Alicia and raised a brow. "Today is goin' t'be fun." She grinned through them mouthful of oats, grains and raisins as she looked over at Alicia. She was looking forward to throwing some assholes onto their backs when they tried to get smart when Machete Security took over their old gig. It was always the same. "So what number are ya backin' today? How many ya reckon we are goin' need t'floor 'fore they listen t'reason?"
