Payton had listened to the entire debacle, and now fully understood what exactly was happening here in the Palace. Once the trial had concluded, and all parties made their exits. Payton stood up from her seat, and made her way to her lodgings, as quickly as she could without looking suspicious to the still-patrolling knights. Once she made it to her room, she quickly entered, and shut the door behind her, locking it. Payton glanced around the room, before setting her eyes on a short wooden dresser she had. She bursted forth from the locked door, to the dresser, and opened the bottom drawer. Laying neatly upon heaps of folded and pressed clothes, laid a letter. A letter Payton had not yet read yet. She picked up the letter, feeling the crisp envelope, feeling for anything hidden inside. After a moment, she tore the letter opened, and examined it's contents.
Payton had woke up very early, making her way to the Great Hall long before many other guests. It appeared that most of the celebration-goers had the sense to get out before anything else had occurred. Payton didn't like this, however. Karl Lied, and apparently a member of the Arcarti scouts had died here. This was just a precursor, and whatever her nation was planning on doing, it wouldn't be good. It was likely much more people would die, and a lot more will suffer before the end of whatever this way. If Arcartus had wanted Bard II dead, he would more than likely be dead right now. They were aiming for something far more devious, it seemed.
Payton smirked when she caught Jezin, seemingly surprised for a moment, staring at her. She leaned forward in conjunction with Jezin's lean, and her lips met his. She gently placed a hand on Jezin's chest, and pressed him down onto the bed, holding the kiss as she did so. Once Jezin was on his back on the bed, she broke the kiss. Payton then made short work of his pants, throwing them to the side of the bed, as well as her own. She looked into Jezin's eyes, giving a slightly conceited smirk, as he moved to sit herself on top of Jezin's pelvis, and began gyrating her hips to and fro. "You're definitely not as tough as you think you are, sir." She said, sighing as she did so, still holding a conceited smirk, albeit slightly quivering.
Payton smirked, making her own way out of the hall, using Jezin as a walking support when need be. "What a noble deed for a knight. Helping a drunken lady back to her quarters." She mocked, stumbling and slightly tripping as she went. Payton was lucky enough to have gotten her quarters close to the Great Hall. While the room was not that great, it wasn't that bad either, and she had certainly had worse. The pair did not have to walk long, even in Payton's current state. Payton stood in front of the door, and gingerly opened it, leaning against it slightly as to use it as a impromptu walking support. Immediately, once inside the room Payton removed her shirt, throwing it to the ground. Payton then turned back towards Jezin, revealing her pale, bare chest, and the fact that she was quite the buxom. "Well, don't just stay there, good sir knight. Come in!" She said, with a flirty smile, placing her hands on her hips.
Payton stood up from her sit, swaying slightly as she did so. "Well, good sir Jezin, why don't you show me right now?" She poked, once again nearly tripping over her own feet trying to keep herself upright. "I don't imagine it would suit a lady such as myself to stay here with such a large group, while so intoxicated." Payton smirked at her own comment, trying not to trip and fall while she stood. Any common sense that once was with the young lady was no gone, and replaced instead with a strong desire to keep having fun. She privately wondered what Kol was up to, but that though was soon pushed out of her head when she saw that most other people in the Great Hall had been allowed to leave to their own quarters. "Looks like most people have taken themselves to their beds." She pointed out, which was already painfully obvious to anyone with a set of eyes.
Payton smirked, going back on her promise of making her last sip the last of the night, by taking the goblet, and downing the rest of the drink in one gulp. Payton's heading was spinnning, and it was obviously she was more than just normally drunk. "Oh, so I'm the lucky one?" She mocked acted offended. It was impressive how well the girl could hold her wine without passing out, seeming tired, or getting sick. In fact, she felt fantastic, and knew she could drink more wine if she wanted, but she knew that would even be a worse idea. "It looks like your charge has found someone to help her, so you can keep having your own fun." She pointed out, pointing across the room to Sophia, and a massive fat man. She leaned a little forward, crossing her arms as she did. "Maybe you'll have to show me how to party like a Lyoki some day." She said, smirking with her same flirty smile she had patented by this point.
Payton smirked, playful, leaning in as if going in to whisper a dark secret to Jezin, but then placed a hand on the man's cheek, and kissed the man. It was no peck on the lips, and it was definitely a kiss of a drunken woman. After a couple of moments, Payton pulled back, smirking, satisfied as she did so, "Do they not know how to have parties and have fun in Lyok?" She asked, leaning forward, still with her playful smirk, "Or are women as rare as playful bodyguards?" She teased, once more, wrapping her fingers around her goblet, taking yet another sip from the beverage. It was delicious, but Payton knew that would be her last sip from the wine. She had drank far too much as it was, and had no more want to drink further.
Payton smirked at Jezin's first comment caused Payton to giggle, but Jezin's blank stare cause her to come back to her senses slightly, "As tough as a sponge cake." She replied, her playfulness coming back to her, "Lighten up, Jezin." Payton teased, with a small, playful, slightly flirty smile, "All you warriors are the same. All business all the time." She poked, once more, finding much fun in poking and teasing Jezin, "Jezin, fearsome bodyguard of the Lyokian people, stalwart defender of all things serious and dry!" She mocked, ending herself with a giggling fit. Once her fit was through, Payton took the wine pitcher, and filled her glass to the top, despite the fact her cup was not nearly empty yet.
"As you should be, good sir Jezin. I am often told that I am a force to be reckoned with, in more way than one." Payton replied, to Jezin's sarcasm with a drunkish grin. She sipped on her wine once more, and donned a particularly serious visage at Jezin's reasonable accusation. "I have not! I am a grown woman. Grown women don't get drunk!" She replied, obviously far too intoxicated to reply coherently to Jezin's tease. Under all the giggly and drunkenness, Payton was still thinking somewhat clearly, although it was severely hampered. She was doing well, for this must've been the most she had ever cut loose, "You're not as tough as you think you are, sir." She said, coyly, reaching out with her finger and poking Jezin on the end of his nose, giggling as she did the teasing act.
I was honestly shooting for it. Haha
