"Thank you very much, I'll make sure this goes to the right person." Payton said, with a smile, as she took the letter and parcel, placing in under her arm. After a relatively quick nod, Payton began her way to the Palace. As she did so, she slid the small letter into the inside of her armor, through her neck. It was uncomfortable to place it there, but thankfully it was a small letter. As she made it to the Palace, she noticed that a red grime was on the bottom of the box. She carefully lifted the box up for a moment, examining the bottom of the package. It was blood. It looked fairly old, though. As she examined the box, a plan started to unravel in Payton's twisted skull. Payton started her own way to the part of the courtyard where the feast would be taking place. As she did so, she slowly unbuckled her belt. When she did so, she took the belt, along with her scabbard and sword, into her other hand. After a bit of walking, Payton eventually rounded the corner of the Palace, coming unto the feasting grounds. From what Payton could see, there was already a stand off occurring, between what appeared to be a knight of the King, and two other people. Payton dutifully found the Order knight closest to her, not currently caught up in the action, and handed her sword, belt, and scabbard to him, holding a beaming smile as she did so. After she had concluded that, she made her way to what was obviously the gift table. There predicament was occurring at the gift table, but Payton would be able to sneak around it, without being thought of as being suspicious. Payton went to the edge of the gift table, and carefully placed the parcel in between to other gifts.
Payton smiled, as the girl stated her business, "You're in luck, Miss Feril," Payton started, as her demeanor changed to a slightly more welcome stance, and expression. "I happen to work for the postmaster, I was lucky enough to just get the privilege to start working here. I'd take the letter, and make sure it gets to my boss, if you'd like." Payton responded, stretching out her hand so Feril could hand Payton the letter. Payton's once cold face was gone, replaced by one of a warm and welcoming woman, whom appeared to now have patient for the girl, now that her business included Payton.
Payton turned around, slowly, taking in the courier dressed in a flamboyant cloak, no doubt to denote her job. Payton's face remained someone blank as she spoke up to the lady in red, "Of course, how can I help?" The words were friendly, but the voice was not. Despite the blank expression, and the helpful words, their seemed to be some kind of hidden venom to the way she spoke, as if she held contempt for the girl who had spoke to her. Payton placed a hand on her hip as she waited for the girl to reply, body language speaking of a woman whom was impatient with the current situation.

Payton stood by idly, slightly away from the bustle and uproar of the stands, preferring to stand and watch the tournament. She had never been a fan of such hopeless hobbies, but it was always nice to witness two warriors testing their might against each other. Payton had very little knowledge of the battlefield, but it was easy to assume that tournament battles were nowhere near to the actual thing. That's why there were more knights renowned for their prowess in tournaments than knights renowned for their prowess on the battlefield. Payton shuffled slightly in her armor. She had taken to wearing the suit of armor when she first joined the House of Affairs, as it added more of a aura of authority than a dress ever would, although it did wear on her nerves sometimes. There was no easy way out of the armor, without spending more than a fair share of time taking it off, and it was never easy to be relaxed inside it. Payton scanned over the crowd, as she brushed the hair out of her pale face. She had only arrived a few hours early, but it was not by accident. She had planned on arriving slightly late, and planned on arriving alone. As far as she was concerned, no official in Mullen yet knew she was here.
Name: Payton Kyneburg
Age: 27
Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance/Clothing: Blond hair, instead of brown.

Weapons: 34 inch long cold steel long sword. Only limited training with the weapon.

Personality: Payton is a calculating individual, and can even be fairly ruthless in her dealings. She's often short and curt with people, this attitude garnered after many years of service to her kingdom's Spymaster. This being said, she also knows how to be gregarious and approachable. Her best skill is being able to act through multiple persona, and convince people that she's something she's not. Payton is a very forward-thinker, a dwells very little on the past or tradition.

History: Payton was born to a noble family in Arcartus, an empire to the Northeast of Keilaudrin. She first served as a lady-in-waiting to various high-ranking noblewomen. Over a period of time, her skill in intrigue and understanding of the intricacies of court were noticed by high ranking officials from the House of Affairs. She was approached to work in the Intelligence section at the age of 17. After years of service, she eventually ascended to the rank of Royal Spymaster, and was special in the sense that not many people knew who she was. Despite her position, she was great at keeping the eye and renown off of her, and instead deflecting it to someone, or something else. After some dead couple of years, where nothing of note has been happening for Arcartus, Payton has been sent to Keilaudrin for King Bard's coronation celebration. She came for some hidden reason, and has arrived late to the celebration.\
Name: Kol
Age: 28
Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance/Clothing:

Weapons: 31 inch longsword, 6 inch long dirk, hand axe strapped to side of shin.

Personality: Kol hardly ever talks, instead opting to simply mind his own business. Behind the pale face, and blank face, though, hides a darker visage. If given a chance, such as defending Payton, Kol will go to extreme lengths to wound and maim his opponent, instead of finishing them off or disarming them. Kol, when a sword is in his hand, can best be described as a butcher. Bloodlust seems to be Kol's primary objective. Despite this wild and dark nature, Kol is entirely subservient to Payton, and will enact her commands without hesitation.

History: Kol was apart of a outlaw group within the capital of Arcartus, committing crimes ranging from petty theft to murder. By the time Kol was 17, he was serving time in an Arcarti prison, and was to serve the rest of his life inside a cold, damp cell. Kol was eventually approached by Payton, and asked to serve as an informant for the Arcartus Intelligence Section. Kol agreed to the job, and served the Intelligence Section for several years. During this time, Payton was targeted for assassination by Kol's outlaw group. As the group, Kol included, sneaked into Payton's house in the middle of the night, Kol slayed every member. Payton was awoken by the commotion, and found a bloody Kol with a blade in his hands, and his dead friends around him. Kol has served as Payton's personal guard ever sense. He is currently awaiting Payton's orders before entering Mullen.
Sinette's mood damper a little at Adrian's response, prompting her to finish off the rest of her cup of whiskey. As Sinette called for a bar maid to come fill her cup, again, she looked at Adrian. The boy seemed upset, or even depressed, discussing the topic. The bar maid graciously topped off Sinette's cup, and Sinette handled her two silver coins, "Maybe there is a lot more to naked man than just his asshole personality." Sinette commented, dryly, as she sipped from her new cup of whiskey. The topic had dampered Sinette's drunken mood. She thought back to the forest. She had seen Soah's face before, in the faces of animals in the forest, when she hunted. Once the animal was cornered, they would take on a certain disposition, one that let the person hunting them know that the animal had nothing to lose. Soah always seemed to have that attitude. Sinette took a big gulp from her cup, and slammed it down on the table. She was positively getting drunk at this point, "Why don't you go get the naked man? We can sit down, have a few drinks, and we can talk all night long! Figure out what makes him tick!" Sinette said, her playful attitude now back in full force.
Sinette smiled, as Adrian asked his question. Honestly, she had missed traveling with people. She sipped from the whiskey she had bought, before answering the young boy's question, "You guys aren't as bad as half the people out there traveling, and I have to find my way south, eventually." Sinette replied, taking another drink from her whiskey. She could feel the effects of the drink, already. She was never one for holding her alcohol. She looked over at Adrian, a playful smile on her face, "Besides, you two probably couldn't make it half way across the country before some bandits stole everything you had." Sinette mused. She had dealt with her fair share of bandits, and a fair share of bandits were now dead in ditches. She had probably killed more men than anyone else in the tavern. "So, we now know each other. Why don't you tell me a little bit more about your friend, the naked man?" Sinette asked, laughing as she did.
Wooooo! 200th post!
A horrified look overcame Sinette as Soah mentioned melting down her sword. "Alright! I'll buy you all the clothes you want, naked man, just don't melt my sword!" Sinette pleaded, pulling on Soah's cloak. As she walked along, a little upset at her current predicament, she glanced around the town, hoping to find a nearby thrift shop in order to buy clothes. After Soah introduced himself, Sinette snickered. "I'm still calling you naked man." Sinette said, with a smirk, getting weird looks from random passerbys, "My name is Sinette." She added, introducing herself. After a moment of looking around, Sinette could see a sign for a clothing store. Excitedly, she took off, into the store. After a few minutes, Sinette emerged with several different articles of clothing. A big dark blue cloak, a pair of pants, some boots, and white tunic. As she ran over to the group, she dropped the clothes in front of Soah, onto the ground. "That cost me a lot of money, y'know." She said, with a unamused look on her face. She held her hand out eagerly, awaiting her sword to be returned to it's rightful, clothed, master.
