Hayate Hyūzu
Konoha - Team 2

When Kensuke mentioned that the mission wasn't finished, Hayate realized that there were still wounded bandits on the field. Without another word, without a moment's hesitation, Hayate moved out to finish the mission. His shadow clone took one side of the camp, while he started at the other. Taking his time, Hayate dispatched the remaining wounded bandits with cold efficiency. Meeting up at the center, Hayate dispersed his shadow clone before turning back towards his teammates.

Shisen and Arashi appeared to be in rough shape, but they had followed Kensuke's orders and silenced several of the wounded. A small part of Hayate wanted to make sure they were alright, but then his mind travelled to the wound in his leg caused by the battle frenzied ninken and he realized that would be a mistake. Turning to face Kensuke he saw the jounin attending to Ezuri's wounds. Approaching the man, Hayate stood silent for a moment. His shame made it difficult to speak. "It is finished sensei." Was all he said after a short time. Looking down at Ezuri, Hayate wondered how everything had fallen apart so quickly. This mission should have been a relatively simple one. Clenching his fists to fight back the frustration of letting his temporary new team down, Hayate simply stood and awaited Kensuke's next orders.
Reyna Azuma
Kumo - Team 13

After Deidara had arrived, everything had become confusing very fast for Reyna. First the random woman had appeared and announced that she was going to be taking over as their sensei temporarily, and then she had told them that they had been poisoned and needed to get the antidote. Reyna didn't understand. She felt fine but--quickly looking over at her teammates, she noticed that they were in bad shape. Forcing herself not to panic, Reyna considered her options. She could stay with her teammates and try to help them, but that would not accomplish anything without the cure. She could go after Asami, but the woman was a jounin, and Reyna would be no match for her... All that left was going for the bird and bringing back the antidote as quickly as she could. Turning her head back towards Midori and Deidara, she noticed that a mist had begun to form. "Midori, Deidara. I... I will get the cure and come back for you! Please stay safe until I get back. I will come as soon as I can!" Taking one last look at her teammates, Reyna steeled herself and then took off after the sparrow.

The bird's chirping had given her a location, but even so, she would have to be careful. Thinking quickly, Reyna tore off a piece of her shirt and fashioned it into a face-mask of sorts. It blocked the lower half of her face, and would hopefully prevent her from inhaling the sparrow's poison. Focusing her chakra, Reyna used her lightning aura to stimulate the nerves around her legs. She sprinted forwards, gaining much more speed than normal. As she was almost at the tree that Michi was perched, Reyna leaped forwards, her hands reaching for the antidote.

Her sudden burst of speed would likely surprise the bird, but Reyna still worried that he would have time to take off. As her hands reached out for the antidote, she let some of her lightning aura expand outwards past her hands, hoping that she might be able to hit the bird, giving it enough of a shock to slow it down.
Hayate Hyūzu
Konoha - Team 2

Seeing his targets drop as the explosive shuriken detonated in the middle of them, Hayate felt a small sense of relief. And then he saw Kensuke-sensei charging in... Suddenly, Hayate was hit with a deep feeling of shame. The jounin had felt the need to come in and save them, which meant that they were not acting like a team. Hayate could not deny the truth of the matter, but he was ashamed by his failure. He had been in worse positions before and come out unscathed, but now, in the middle of clearing out a group of measly bandits, he had been injured. The fact that it had been caused by a teammate was not the point. Gritting his teeth, Hayate scanned around for any more targets.

Kensuke had single-handedly cleared out most of the remaining bandits and, by Hayate's estimation, less than half remained. His gaze travelled to Ezuri, slightly impressed that the boy had managed to help fight, even while struggling against his injury. Hayate saw that Kensuke was taking care of the bandits near Ezuri and so he recalled the shadow clone that he had left by his teammate. His eyes darted back to Shisen and Arashi, who had managed to take down another bandit. His clone was engaged with another bandit, armed with an axe. As the real Hayate watched, his clone spun around behind the man and impaled him through the back with his staff. Knowing that his teammates were alright, Hayate headed towards Kensuke. It looked like there were only a few bandits left. Several of them charged Kensuke, hoping foolishly to take him with force of numbers alone.

Noticing a few of the bandits trying to escape, Hayate charged towards them. Pulling out two kunai, he overcharged them and sent them flying towards two of the escaping men. The kunai hit their marks and exploded, eviscerating two of the men. One of the men turned, his eyes filled with fright, just in time to see Hayate leaping towards him, his staff held out like a spear. Driving the staff through the man's chest, the force of the impact brought them to the ground. Pulling his staff from the man's dead body, Hayate didn't even give him a second look before heading towards the last of the escaping bandits. Throwing an overcharged kunai towards the last man, Hayate's aim was a little off, and the kunai embedded itself in the man's thigh before exploding. Howling in pain the bandit fell to the ground, his leg blown almost clean off. The man tried to crawl away from Hayate as he approached. Turning onto his back, the bandit tried to plead with Hayate, begging for his life. Staring into the man's face for a single moment, Hayate felt nothing--and then he thrust his staff downwards, straight through the man's heart.

Pulling the staff out, Hayate turned around and made his way back to his teammates. This whole thing was almost over.

@ChromeHound: I noticed that you put a little note in the skills about utilizing Yoken. The artist appears to be presently unknowing of the ability, so is that a reference to once he finds out how to use it? Other than that question, it's looking really good.

Thanks! Sorry, I should have cleared that up a little bit. You are right, I just wanted to describe it in a way so that it explained how the blade would work for him upon discovering how to use it. Is there anything that you think need changing or polishing? I am open to anything. ^^

Name: Takeshi Shun
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Occupation: Artist and Armorer
Sword: Yoken

Personality:
Takeshi is a kind and patient man. He is a bit of a perfectionist with a meticulous eye for detail, which serves him well in his professions, but often puts him at odds with the people around him. Takeshi is a bit of an introvert, preferring to spend time alone with his art and his designs, than spending time in the company of others. It isn’t that he dislikes people; it is more that he just doesn’t know how to properly act in social settings. One on one, Takeshi is more than capable of interacting with others, but the more people he is around, the more he hides himself away.

Background:
When he was very young, Takeshi realized that he had a passion for art. This alienated him a bit from the other children his age, as he preferred to spend his time drawing and painting rather than play-fighting or playing sports.

As time went on, and Takeshi’s skills flourished, his father grew worried that he would be stuck without any employable skills. Resolved to finding a way to put Takeshi’s skills to good use, his father decided to teach him the basics of armour crafting and design. Surprisingly, Takeshi took quite well to the craft. For him, designing armour was just another way of creating art, and this way he could see his designs coming to life.

Once he came of age to move out, Takeshi did so, finding a job as an armorer and making quite a name for himself. He received the sword Yoken as a gift from a samurai whose armour he designed. The samurai told him that the sword had been in his family for generations, but nobody had been able to actually draw the sword. He had assumed it to be a simple decorative sword, and so he gave it to Takeshi in return for crafting his armour.

Takeshi had taken the samurai at his word and never tried to wield the sword… that is, not until the day the man came looking for him.

Skills:
Takeshi is an incredibly talented artist. He has a keen eye for detail, and is actually a talented strategist. His most unique gift was an enhancement from the blade. When Takeshi wields Yoken, he not only gains enhanced sight, but he also becomes aware of what he has called the ‘shatter-point’ in different forms of armour and weapons. He believes this to be the result of his years spent extensively studying different armour and weapon designs.

Equipment:
Aside from the blade, and his own custom armour, Takeshi brought his art set with him, which includes various art supplies. He also brought along his father’s knife, just in case he was ever in need.
I would love to put a temporary reserve on Yoken if possible as well. I have work today unfortunately, so I will have to get my CS done later tonight when I get home.
Haha, I kinda figured that was going to be the case! I shall eagerly await that moment. :p
Haha, okay, that answers the question perfectly then. :) Also, sorry, I just realized that I have a second question xD With the swords, you mentioned that they will have legendary powers and abilities. What kind of things could we be expecting from them? And are each of the blades unique in what powers and abilities they possess?
@Shadowcatcher, Accepted by me. Though I am not one hundred percent certain on the armour or the sword, I shall leave that judgement up to Roro, as I trust his expertise in those matters far more than I do my own.
I for one am certainly interested! Quick question regarding the swordsmen, are there specific roles that you were wanting out of each of them? As in, were you wanting to have them all be natural samurai, etc. Or were you leaving that more up to the players?

Either way this looks sweet!
