Actually, Japanese grades and American grades are remarkablysimilar, the Japanese just have one less (perhapse because they only get one day a week off?)

First years (the youngest) are 16-17 generally
Second years (sophomores/juniors) are 17-18
Third years (seniors) are 18-19

For Kyle, I like that artifact. So far everybody's artifacts are far easier to carry than the Third Eye (apparently Chris is just going to keep it in his bag or something.) I remember my days of climbing mount Dad. My goat is yes. (Everybody in the RP is allowed to voice their oppinion in a constructive way, but they only count if me and Rose disagree).

I like her personality, exactly the kind of person who would hang out with Chris and jump on the "let's skip school and go exploring" bandwagon. The artifact is good, with a low power ability and the opprotunity to kvetch more later on (especially if she learns specific songs for different effects, Ala legend of Zelda). My vote is "yes"

In the middle of a forest there is a set of sprawling ruins, lost for centuries before being uncovered by a small group of teenagers out exploring. In the center of the ruins is a circular clearing with several pedestals, each holding an object. When each member of the group grabs an object, they are filled with strange power, and the doors to the ruins open. What will they find when they venture deeper?

I never join an RP without a flexible GM, so you can bet I'm not strict.
