Dammit, you had the exact same idea I did. I don't know, it might be kinda cool to have two elite guards who are also half wolves... Just in case it doesn't make you mad and I'm actually allowed to have the same general race, here:

A few years before the water started drying up, she went missing, leaving Othela alone. Months passed without word, until eventually Othela had had enough and, armed with a short sword and her childhood companion, Goldfang, set off after her mother. Nobody knows what happened to her, but several months later she came back, alone, with decidedly wolfish features to her.

Dislikes: People getting themselves hurt, squid, Cucumbers
