Personality: Unlike certain other Dragon Slayers, and certain other normal mages, Cynthia tries as hard as she can to avoid destroying things. She's actually rather mild mannered and sweet most of the time, unless someone makes her angry. When she's angry, she's exactly like the other Dragon Slayers.
History: Cynthia comes from a rather well established family of mages. In her family, tradition dictates that any child who doesn't show skill in magic is sent out into the wilderness alone, and must learn magic before they are allowed to return. Cynthia was one of the children who was sent, but unlike most who learn a simple magic, Cynthia met Polyaphimous, a White Dragon.

Cynthia's White Dragonslayer Magic focuses on healing, support and defense rather than destructive power.

White Dragon's Heaven Wing
-Cynthia creates two wings of light that allow her to fly. These wings grant her a bit of protection, but their main purpose is mobility

White Dragon's Guardian Wings
-Cynthia creates two pairs of wings, which wrap around her and anything near her to create a shield. Most attacks can be blocked by this shield, but it's not invincible. Alternatively she can extend the wings to create a stronger, one sided shield.

White Dragon's Healing Light
-Using Polyaphimous' holy magic, Cynthia can heal all but the most grievous wounds. Her healing magic also gives her resistance against infection both magical and mundane, and prevents her from becoming motion sick.

White Dragon's Brilliant Claws
-Cynthia gathers light around her fingertips, which increase her striking power and leave glowing trails of light where she touches. This can be used to draw Magic Runes.

White Dragon Support Magic
Various spells using White Magic, centered around aiding allies in battle.

Arms: Doubles the physical strength of allies
Vernier: Doubles the speed of allies
Armor: Doubles the physical defense of allies
Block: Increases allies' resistance to mental effects
Ascend: Grants allies flight

Metsuryū Ougi: Hoshi no Ame
Usage: 1
Description: Cynthia raises her hands above her head, creating a magic circle, and streams of light shoot upward from it. The streams then seek out allies and attach themselves to them, wrapping each person with a glowing ribbon. This ribbon constantly heals the target along with defending them from further attack. The barrier the Ribbons create can only withstand so much, and once it is broken the effects of the ribbon vanish.

Letter Magic
Cynthia learned this magic because she felt she had cheated at her trial, by finding a dragon. She's not very good at it yet, but she's practicing often.

Technique Formula

Runic Cant
By laying out runes in certain formations and fulfilling certain conditions, coupled with an incantation, Cynthia's most powerful spells can be used.

Formation and Conditions:
runes must be placed at each of the four compass directions, and on those four runes must be placed something to represent a specific element.
Fire for North
Wind for East
Water for South
Earth for West

Incantation:

[item used] to the south, an Icon of Water,

Effect:
Anything caught within the circle created by the Cant (The area between the Runes) is assaulted by a massive elemental force. It is similar to being hit by a direct blast from the Jupiter Cannon.

Other: This Cant takes almost all of Cynthia's magic, leaving her almost defenseless afterward.

Half a moment passed between the marbles being fired and a vicious feline roar ringing out across the room. In an instant, a black blur launched itself from the couch, pushing it backwards a foot, and before it impacted Orion shifted into a large brown hawk. The effect of the transformation was ruined, however, when Vee realized she didn't know how to fly, and instead of landing on the boy's shoulder as she had intended, she fell to the floor and skidded to a halt. She lay there a moment, stunned, before turning back into a human. "ooooh, ow." She moaned, trying to push herself off the floor and just falling over instead. "mmmm. I don't feel so good." She just continued laying still until Ferghus asked for an ice pack. "Yeah, I'll go find one, and maybe some asprin too..." She pushed herself up a bit and half crawled, half dragged herself toward the counter.
