"Excuse me," Lisa said in a hard tone, her hand reaching out from the shadows to take the woman's wrist in a vicelike grip. "I would appreciate it if you wouldn't insult my friend. I would doubly appreciate it if you wouldn't strike her either." As she spoke, she stepped out of the shadow, becoming completely visible, and tightened her grip. Lisa was surprisingly strong for a girl her size, her grip was like iron and hard enough to start cutting off bloodflow. As she spoke, her words seemed laced with an undertone that Ev and the girl she was speaking to would find particularly compelling.
"Now, are you going to apologize or not?"

Also what's up with that telepathic message?
You know, I'm surprised Nathan is actually in a guild and not training on his own away from society. I think there are exactly two people in the room with him right now who he likes, and only about five who he actually can stand being in the same room as. Every time I enter Nathan's headspace to start a post, I have to back out because of an overwhelming sense of hatred and disdain at what's going on.
