Lisa: Fucking sun's song. Fucking redeads. Fucking wallmasters. fuck.
I wonder who it was who decided "Water is going to be the most rage inducing element in every video game." You have mind numbingly annoying water temples, water enemies who freeze you and heal themselves and sometimes put you to sleep, underwater swimming levels that control like a walrus and take forever to get through, and fucking ice physics.
Not a bad game, just a frustrating one. The game itself is AMAZING, they just made this ONE dungeon infuriating as hell. It's the Shrine of Wind, which for some reason is the obligatory water dungeon, and the game gives you exactly ONE character who can survive in water. That character just happens to be the weakest in your entire party, and there are long underwater segments where you're chased my hordes of monsters who can very easilly juggle you against a wall because there are no invincibility frames, and here is a list of your attacks. Ice missile: takes like, thirty seconds to charge up, and most enemies just dodge it anyway. Water Shot: Instant, but it does one point of damage, and doesn't effect half of the enemies in the dungeon at all. Staff strike: Incredibly short range and does one damage, plus it leaves you wide open for a counter attack.
I'm so fucking pissed right now. In a game, there is NO reason for a character who's REQUIRED to beat a dungeon to be able to die, with NO way to revive them. Either make your dungeons beatable WITHOUT them, or make them IMMORTAL. ESPECIALLY if you're going to send them through a fucking boss gauntlet without the rest of the party to back them up!
13 year old chain smoker...
good luck exhausting Free. Free: Fifty pounds? Is that it? Come on, don't you have a real challenge?
Name: Lisa Fulgor Nickname: Sigil Age: 17 Gender: Female Guild: Vyper Bolt Rank: Mage Personality: Lisa spends a lot of her free time just hanging around the guild. Normally, she's content just to sit around and enjoy being in other people's presence, a rare thing for her to enjoy, and doesn't do anything unless someone asks her to. History: Lisa has only just joined the guild after two years working alone. She' relatively new to using her magic, but beyond that she doesn't tell people about her history with it. She sometimes mentions her "teacher", but when pressed for information she's tight lipped. Magic: Symbol Magic (Lost Art) With just a touch, Lisa can imprint a symbol onto any surface. Depending on what that symbol is, it can do any number of things. Every one of the symbols she uses means something to her in relation to the effect, though how deep that meaning is varies.
Other: Lisa is still learning her magic, and it's not very good for combat, so she has trained in martial arts to help her on her missions. There are tattoos on her shoulders and thighs that she says were placed there by her master, and they seem to give her increased strength and speed.
Now I have the dilemma. What kind of character am I going to make?
