I would, but it would ruin her if I made her an asshole like the Roganoffs. Also I would do it with Nathan, but he's not bedridden and that's a pivitol point of the idea. If you would let me put her in Harpy's Wing and probably remove what'shername, Lisa? I would totally do that.

Unless you mean it just makes people not want to be around her, because we already have a character like that and he's currently trying to rape his roommate. I keep watching fairy tail, and I keep regretting that I wasted my S Class on a strange velocity wizard instead of doing the amazing thing and having a bedridden Celestial Mage who uses a Spirit to fight all her battles, which means that she can multisummon, and she also has Crash magic that she only uses when someone threatens the guild because it means she has to get out of bed which is really painful for her.

I will politely decline to adjust my tone for my job, for several reasons. I talk like this when I might become emotional because it's infinitely better than yelling and screaming, and provides a possible basis for continued civil conversation. People can change, but I'm coming up from rock bottom and Rome wasn't built in a day. I have been nothing but cordial, and have carefully selected my words. It's the content of the phrases I use, not the phrases themselves that are at fault, and the content will not change no matter how I sugarcoat it. My job here is to be the strong arm, not to be liked. If people want to like me because of who I am when I'm not doing my job, that's fine with me, but I cannot point out people's flaws without being at least a little "mean". Finally, anybody who gets angry enough at my criticism to quit outright probably isn't worth the effort to play with. A good RPer can adapt to any situation in or out of character. This is the internet, people get angry. Obviously because Ava is countering my points with her own points (swearing nonwithstanding), She is of the type who can not only adjust to it, but give as good as she gets instead of simply giving up. I respect her quite a bit for that. That said. *falls out of asshole mode* You, Ava, are an amazing person and the only person so far (including the GM) who hasn't gotten mad at me because of my tone. I love you stay with us forever.

You misunderstand the purpose of my criticism. I was not claiming that you were "Plagiarizing", I was saying that I dislike characters who use unoriginal powers because it can BE plagiarism. I did not say you could not use that character, but I do request that you change the names of the powers and at least the name of the mark, so that it is not a direct link to the game in case we do get around to making a comic. I'm not ACCUSING you of anything, I'm pointing out flaws that I see, which is my job. I said nothing about your powers themselves, and I actually appreciate you trying to balance them right off the bat instead of waiting for us to tell you to, that shows foresight on your part and a consideration for other people's feelings. (Although I think it was unnecessary, since some of the powers in this RP are a bit over the top). My one and only complaint about the character is that the power is taken from another game. I would say the same things to anybody who did that, including the GM herself.

My point is that I disapprove. And honestly I had hoped you would have been a better person than let a little criticism cause you to behave like that. My job as Co-GM isn't like usual, where I would only be here to enforce the rules. I've taken on the job the GM doesn't want, which is pointing out all the flaws in a character or in a person's behavior. It's not a job I particularly like, but it's one I can do. I would hope you wouldn't take such things personally, as it's the mark of a bad player to become so defensive right off the bat.

Usually I do Mehrunes, just cause daggers and thieves, Boethia though I tend not to wear the armor unless I want to be standing in front of someone and still be hidden. I hate Peryite's quest, but I LOVE the spellbreaker so I do it anyway, I do Sanguine because fucking Sanguine, even though his artifact is the lamest by far, and Sheogorath because his quest is fun, the Wabbajack is like all my desires turned into a weapon, and FUCKING SHEOGORATH. Needs more cheese. Also... I despise characters who are partially or entirely based of a non original character because: A. It's unoriginal. You should be able to come up with your own powers and still be interesting. B. Even then, people rarely if ever play another creator's content right. People start arguing about how it's "supposed to work" but nobody is ever right, because the only person who can tell you how it's SUPPOSED to work is the person who MADE it. C. It's plagiarism, so if you do that you can't turn the RP into any kind of publicized work like a comic. Which we're planning to do with this RP. I can't fully deny your character, because I'm only the Co-GM, but it definitely has my disapproval. I also forgot: D. The only place a character like that fits in is a crossover RP, which this is not.
