well, it's not like she's inexhaustible, just unkillable. She can still be beat down, broken and bloodied, and if she takes a killing blow, she doesn't keep moving. She stays dead until her body heals itself enough to function again.

yeah, but in combat even with her increased strength she falls way behind other Espers, especially when it's against mythic creatures. Don't worry though, she won't always be so underwhelming.

Julia is the most underwhelming human nuke ever.

For some reason I imagined Julia as a red haired Bayonetta for the first half of that post.

Julia "Of all the things it could be, it had to be smoke monsters. Oh good, there's some solid ones." Julia bantered to nobody in particular as she entered the main room, drawing the twin pistols strapped under the waist of her dress. "Honestly, I just got this drycleaned. I hope on of you boys is willing to front the bill." She wasted no more time, switching directly into combat mode. She let loose several shots into the first dirt demon she saw, aiming unerringly for the head. Over a decade of training took over as she grabbed a knife from a nearby buffet table and threw it, lodging it directly in the neck of one of the smoke monsters, and watched it pass straight through. "Dammit," She muttered, still firing on the demons, "That's a hassle, these things don't seem to have vital points."

Trisana Trisana saw the wood monsters coming and pulled out her deck again. "Tarot Magic! Misfortune!" She yelled, drawing one card and revealing it just before the explosions started. As the smoke cleared around Trisana and those near her, a glowing golden bubble became visible, as did the card in her hand. Moon - The moon card creates a shield around the caster's immediate area, protecting them from damage. "Whew," she said, letting the shield and her physical boost drop. "That was close. Glad I drew a good card there." She quickly searched for Nicholas and found him a ways off. Running to him, she gathered him in a bear hug and swung him around. "We did it!" She yelled joyfully, still spinning, "We beat them!" Cynthia Cynthia reached up to Sable's hand and squeezed it lightly, a weak smile on her face. "I'm glad I'm in good hands," She said softly. Her own magic was already going to work on the wound, purifying the curse that had caused it to open again. Soon enough she would be back to normal, but for now she was having trouble even staying awake.
