the IC is up.

Symphonia, i still need those edits before you can start.
Throughout the fortress of Stonewall, an announcement rings. "Would the following people please report to Phoebe Miller's office." The announcement is followed by a list of names, including yours, and then cuts off. Immediately your personal communicator blips, and a message from System appears giving you the shortest route.
As you enter the spacious office, you notice two things. The first is the red haired girl talking quietly with Phoebe, and the second being that Phoebe seemed almost humble when talking to her, an emotion you didn't know the leader of Stonewall could have until now. You're told to take a seat until everyone arrives, and once you're all gathered Phoebe turns to you.

"Let's get right to business." she says, once more the figure of ultimate authority. "Each of you has been chosen for your unique talents to participate in a mission which, if successful, might mark the beginning of the end of this war." A holographic display flickered to life above her desk, showing a map of the world with all 8 major strongholds on it. "This group will be making it's way around the world, visiting each stronghold on the way and learning what they can from there. The goal of this mission is to train each of you into an elite team, and if successful you will be taking your orders directly from the Council. For now you'll be taking orders from this woman here and her partner." She indicated the redhead briefly before continuing. "Your first destination is Glassmine stronghold, to the north. There's a Sandcrawler ready for you at the northern tunnel, which will take you out of the storm. Are there any questions before you leave?"
Kes, did you seriously name one of your NPCs "Simon Getskilled"? that's almost as bad as "Guy Diesatstart".
I lost my character, so someone else needs to post first. Once i have something to react to directly i should find him again.
Also Henry got hit by a tree's revenge, and Caroline is sporting a stylish new stone stomach piercing.

P.S. Henry didn't see Caroline's wound, and won't until she gets off the horse at least.
Also we've almost reached the plot magic quota for now, and Elizabeth has one last piece before the end
You should just make as accurate a post as you can and come back to fix it if you need to when you have tasty sleep in your body.
edits:

remove the "Living things and places" from the list. i will allow the creation of items with special properties, but such items will only have one use, and the same item can't be made twice in one day (Or another limitation you suggest if i think it's adequate.) Normal items (items that can be created from parts by a normal human or found in the world) have no limitations on them.

I'll allow you to keep one living creation, but at the cost that she lost a part of her body doing it (such as a limb or an internal organ) or some other equally steep price which will deter her from ever trying it again.
Caroline felt rather than saw the sphere break through her defenses. She took a quick look around the inside and immediately called out to the remaining soldiers under her command. "Forget your previous orders." she called, gripping the knot. "Bowmen keep firing. Everyone else is now tasked to quickly look for wounded survivors and fall in behind Gwen. Your priority is to protect anyone who is still alive." As the second ball crashed through the gate, she felt a sharp pain in her side. She looked down at where her hand had clutched the wound instinctively, and saw blood seeping between her fingers. A shard of stone had been driven through her side, she could see the tip of it coming out of her shirt.

Caroline drowned her pain in anger, firing arrow after arrow over the wall. The shafts burst into flame as they left the bow, and by the time they reached their targets only the white hot arrow heads were left intact. Every time she pulled the bowstring back, she could feel her wound getting worse, but she ignored it. When Henry came to take her away, she almost attacked him too, but realized who it was in time. As her eyes met his, her anger faded and her pain returned. She gritted her teeth, determined not to cry out against it, and followed him down the stairs.

Fleeing on a horse was agonizing for her, but she dared not stop or give in to the pain. She heard the thunderous sounds of horses giving chase, and lowered her head, praying that they would get through this.
Prepare for impending involentary jealousy from Caroline, Diz
