Charles stepped back for a moment, suddenly subdued. A bit of mental feedback played through the connection, seeming to be Sigmund's words in Charles' voice. The second you were at risk. Pulled out. High and mighty. You were at risk. Interlaced in the sound was what sounded like white noise but eventually cleared into a string of words. Selfish, Cold, Uncaring, Empty, Unloved All at once the connection broke, and Charles spoke in a soft voice. "Do what you want." and threw open his telepathic link to every child he saw. He reached deep, trying to break as many trances as he could before he himself fell into it. Go home he broadcasted to the ones he broke from their trances, before he let himself succumb to the spell. I hope I can break out of this later he thought to himself.

Welp, I'm not really seeing L coming in without somebody else who actually wants to be there, so here's my options.

1. Friends with Anthea, who came for the loot. L is really a neutral good kind of thing, so she prefers her morals to established laws.

2. Slave for X character, but acts more like a traveling companion. It's not her ideal placement, but as long as she's treated well and not forced to do something against her character she's alright with it.

3. Helper to X important character, like Aelfrick. Most improbable, since she doesn't really fit in anywhere long enough to get a job like that.
