Melody killed someone. Thought that was important enough to mention, even though you don't really care.
Thanks. My favorite Genre is Science Afflicted Fantasy, which is my name for magic that still obeys science. I spend a lot of time thinking up things like that. A couple other ideas are:

Earth Element:
Create a rock blade, then force the molecules to vibrate at high speed. The resulting weapon uses up a lot of your energy, but can cut through nearly anything.

Fire Element:
When Confronted by an Earth user who uses the ground beneath your feet as a weapon, find a dry area and turn up the heat. If you're lucky, the ground you're standing on is rocky and turns to magma, which you can keep the other elementalist from controlling. At the very least it becomes scorched and barren, probably hard for an earth user to control.

Water Element:
Like the earth element, you can use high preassure water streams to cut through most solids. The higher the pressure and thinner your stream, the more cutting power you have.

Air Element:
By stopping the air molecules from vibrating, you can create an area that sound will not pass through. further more, if you're strong enough, the same usage can create a solid wall of air, stopping anything from crossing.
You are currently in my top 5 current GMs, and the RP hasn't even started yet.
eh, it's not my best work, but to be fair I had to figure out how the one character in months I didn't prepare for romance would react to being asked out.
Artemis just stared blankly for a moment, then opened his mouth. "Artemis Nexus. I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time right now. You are real aren't you? I'm not lying on the floor in a pool of blood having some kind of hallucination? What in the world just happened?" He noticed he was still holding his gun and shoved it back into it's holster. "Alright, let's do this in order." He said, regaining his composure, "First, that wasn't a human, I know that much since I put two round in his chest and he didn't even flinch. I get the feeling you know what he was, so enlighten me. Second, I get the feeling you aren't human either, but since you're not trying to kill me right now I'd say you're different from him in some way, so some detail on that would be appreciated too."
Artemis sighed as he realized he wasn't going to get his test after all. "I guess that's understandable, I probably would have killed it myself had I been there. Unfortunately I wasn't." As Maya kissed him and offered dinner, he started unstrapping the device from his arms. "As if I'd allow that, especially since my part design is making me rich. If we're having dinner it'll be on my dime." Grinning at her as he unfastened the last strap, he said "Still want to go?"
only If face and Ursa are ok with dying too.
I have bad information retention sometimes. I usually fill the holes in my memory with popular comparisons and hope I don't fuck it up. This time it didn't work
really? must have missed that part. nevermind then, as you were.
hey Krinos, I just noticed something I missed before. In your post, you sent the Marionette on his way, but you forgot Artemis put two bullets in him. He didn't die because of the Puppeteer then, but the damage was still there, so as soon as it left him he would have just died on the spot.
Elizabeth grinned as she sat down, just close enough to Henry so they wouldn't be talking over the fire. "That I did, boy. Take a look." As she unrolled the bundle between them, she started explaining her discoveries. "The device itself is simple really, not much more than a metal tube with a fire starter on one end. A good blacksmith could make about a hundred in a day. I'd go so far to say it's genius in it's simplicity." As she continued, she indicated the pouch of powder. "The trick is this powder. By smell I'd say it's some kind of sulpher compound, but I won't be able to say for certain until I can access some lab equipment. When the powder catches fire, it burns fast, a lot faster than anything else I've seen. When you pack it down the tube and stuff the cotton after it to create an airtight seal, the only way the heat can go is by shoving that seal out of the way, and the ball with it." She rubbed her hands together in anticipation. "I can't wait till I can make an unlimited supply of this. It opens up a whole new world of posibilities, especially if I can incorporate it into my magic."
Caroline looked up from the apple she was munching on, all hints of her prior bloodlust gone. "Yeah, I guess I do. My mother works directly for Queen Loise, so I've net her a few times. Why do you ask?"
