Caroline looked back at the boy. Melting the ice star again, she reformed it as a dagger. "Want to see just how bound we Elpis are, dog boy? I wonder how your tornado would stand up against a tsunami." Twirling the knife in her hand, she grinned dangerously.
What have we done? THERE'S FIRE TRAPPED IN MY ICE!?
Caroline grinned wider as Celia's watersnake twisted around her whirlpool. With a sideways glance she clenched her fist, compressing the whirlpool into a small sphere, then flung her hand open. As the ball expanded, it froze into ice, eventually spreading the chill to Celia's water as it touched, and not putting out the flame. The end result was a kind of ice star with the ice rope twisted around it and a flame in the center. "Personally I prefer ice to water."
there, now Celia isn't the only girl who needs help fitting in.
"Phorros huh?" Caroline said, sitting on Celia's other side. "That's neat. I'm Elpis." She put her hand palm down on the damp earth near her and pulled it up again, bringing a blob of water up with it. She turned it upright and twirled her fingers, creating a mini whirlpool on her hand. "What about you Celia?"
Can someone else be in distress? It's not fair that we're all ganging up one Celia. Two people is company, but three's a crowd guys.
