Phillip picked up the knife on the table, twisting it expertly in his hands without looking. As the blade did figure eights around his wrist he sighed. "My dad said my magic is called 'the Warriors Right', and that it had something to do with knowing weapons and combat. All I know is that when I pick up a blade or a gun or really any weapon I already know how to use it." He stopped moving the knife and put it back down on the table, crossing his arms. "I can move faster and hit harder than other people too. All in all I wish I had gotten some kind of magic less obviously geared towards fighting."

I entirely understand. I don't and can't do that myself, but I get the idea. I get bleedthrough, so sorry if I'm a bit cold if your character is mean to mine, it's not permanent and by no means reflects my own feelings.
I like him.
Phillip shrugged. "I've never really had a problem with Felines. Maybe it's just because I don't like fighting, but I've never really disliked someone because of their race. I guess I'm a bad son huh? Considering my dad was a general." He picked up his drink and nursed it in his hands. "Dad always told me I was weird to hate fighting, because of my magic." His eyes turned to a dull steel blue as he talked.

Phillip sat down across from her and looked at the server. "I'll take a Chai tea, thanks." As she nodded and left, Phillip looked back to Emilia. "By the way, my full name is Phillip Hagane, but some people just call me steel because of my last name." His eyes were definitely blue now, and he seemed more calm than chipper.
Phillip smiled and nodded. "Sure, I'd love to. Then maybe we can find our swimsuits. Going for a swim is sounding more and more attractive as I think about it." He tried not to think about how seeing her in a swimsuit was sounding more and more attractive to him too. I just met her. I need to wait at least a day before I start spouting off dumb pick up lines.
