I used to refuse to do Cannon characters, but then I found Crossover RP's, and felt the joy of RPing Grimlock, It spread from there.

I never use Canon characters because I always find I have a hard time portraying them as they should be. I once tried to play as the Blue Adept from the Peirs Anthony seiries, but it just didn't feel right.

EDIT: although it was fun for the short time I did it.

For my character it's:

[Fear Projection]
herself executing a hooded prisoner, then taking off the hood and discovering it's her brother.
Fun fact: She will then scream "Not again!" because the same thing happened to her with her father, which is the reason she doesn't take jobs from people she can't trust and why she never mentions her family or contacts them.

Also I approve, I Always liked Raven's powers and if I didn't have a policy against using characters from an existing Canon I would have used her long ago.

Was watching House, and there's a scene where he's playing Metroid Zero Mission on a Game Boy, and his patient asks "What are you doing?" And he said "Level 4" And I said "BULLSHIT, not only are there no "levels" in Zero Mission, you're A. In the first damn room and B. getting your ass kicked by one of those wall crawly enemies that if you even take damage from when you're paying attention you have no right to play gameboy."
