Most people don't know for sure what they'd do if actually got a Death note, and they know they never will, so they feel safe in saying stuff like "Kill Justin Bieber" or "The Democrats" or whatnot. In reality, they'd probably end up regretting half the names they write.

Also, in my defense, most of the politicians I know are two-faced, backstabbing imbeciles who are also literal thieves and murderers, a rather unfit lot to be running a country.

I've got a little list. I mean, mostly politicians, so I'm not sure what good this'll do in the long run, but in the short term, most of them are assholes anyways.
