Kokoro Academy - A My Hero Academia RP (12/12 Slots)

Okay so the slots are running out and @Toots you won't budge on them, I know, but I kinda have this hero concept that would be perfect for Kokoro academy and it's not ready or anything and yes, I already have a character ready and accepted, but if it would ever become possible to get a second character, what would this quirk sound like?

Name: Yaso Omu, "Parrot"

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Quirk: Copycat

Quirk ability: Parrot is able to perfectly mimic the voices of people who talk around him, down to style of speech. His special move is called "Echo whisper", during which Parrot can seemingly talk without opening his mouth and make the voice seem like it’s coming from another direction.
Parrot can mimic people and many common animals, like dogs.
Whenever Parrot actively uses a mimicked voice to talk, the voice’s owner is unable to produce noise from their vocal cords. This is why Parrot usually doesn't use mimic on people he respects/has befriended, not without permission.

Drawbacks: It's a highly situational quirk that can’t be used as anything but distraction. Parrot can't mimic voices that he has heard over ten minutes ago. Parrot is unable to speak without using their quirk. If Parrot uses a voice for too long, his throat gets sore.

History: Parrot has never spoken a word in their life. Up until five years old, Parrot's family thought he was mute. Parrot's quirk manifested when he suddenly began speaking in a top hero’s voice after hearing them on TV.
Parrot's first name, Omu, means parrot and Yaso, his surname, means calm.

Questions:

• Given its reputation, why apply to Kokoro Academy?
  Omu takes a deep breath, only talking after recieving a permission from the interviewer. "My quirk isn't powerful in the sense of traditional heroism. No hero academy has accepted me for who I am, so right now this is my only choice left."
• Why do you want to be a professional hero?
  "I wish to become a professional hero so I can help those who feel like they don't fit in. I want to help people and make the world see that even someone like me can rise above and make themselves heard."
• What kind of professional hero do you want to become?
  "I wish to become the kind of professional hero that uses their wits to resolve a conflict, not violence. I want to set an example."
• Best describe yourself in five sentences.
  "I am calm and often quiet. I don't care for fame, but I have a strong sense of justice. I work hard to overcome my limits and to help my friends overcome theirs. I work well in a group and I'm wellspoken and polite to my surperiors and equals alike. I never use my quirk on people who do not want me to and I respect the tools life has given me."
• What are you interests and hobbies?
  "I have taken interest in music. Even though I don't have a voice of my own, it doesn't mean I can't create art with musical equipment. I play many instruments on my past time."
• Are there any notable accomplishments you want to us to be aware of?
  "I graduated the top of my class, but I don't have any quirk-related accomplishments."
• Tell us something about your quirk that most might not know? Any events or memories, be it joyous or ill, tied to it?
  "I remember my parents thought I was both quirkless and mute as a child. They thought there was something wrong with me, yet they loved me all the same. At least my father did. I control my quirk well, but it is very situational. I can mimic any voice just by hearing it. I still have trouble using my quirk on phone calls, but I can pick voices from TV."
• Why should we consider you over the other applicants? What can you offer that they cannot?
  "You should consider me because I am passionate for what I do. I might seem like a useless addition to your school, but I control my quirk seamlessly and want to discover ways to use it for good."

Sanyu has a wavy, up-to-shoulders hair that is pinned up on a messy bun on the top of her head. Her body language is daring and she has a high yet coarse voice. She has an angular jaw and just a few small freckles dotted over her face. On the left side of Sanyu’s face she has a jagged, light scar she got from falling from a tree as a child. She tells everyone she got it from fighting a villain, though.
She keeps water on her at all times.

Quirk Name: Molecular Overdrive

Quirk Ability & drawbacks: Can rapidly increase an object’s molecules’ vibration, heating any surface or even air around her to burning temperatures. The heat gets stronger the closer you are to her. The more conductive to heat the matter is, the more effective the quirk is, and vice versa. The quirk is stronger in sunlight.
If trained, the quirk has the capacity to melt or burn pretty almost any surface, with serious damage on the user.

The drawback is that a using the quirk makes the user severely dehydrated due to sweating, increasingly fast the hotter it is. If Sanyu continues beyond dehydration, she gets complications such as fever and loss of consciousness. She can also get severe burns on her skin.

Sanyu cannot control the direction of her quirk.

She uses her quirk mostly to heat up tea or meals at the moment. Sometimes she likes to mess with her friends by heating up the floor they stand on just enough for it to be too uncomfortable to stand on, screaming "floor is lava".

Characteristics:

Sanyu loves diving headfirst into action, so she acts accordingly. Charismatic and waaay over-confident, Sanyu is the kind of person who can become a bully if you don’t know her well. She loves showing off with her quirk, even though in reality she isn’t the speediest or the most intelligent of the bunch, and doesn’t control it that well. She acts big and like her quirk, she is hot-headed. Sanyu has a lot of energy and she loves being social, if not a little provoking.
Sanyu is very competitive, but she hates cheaters and liars. She can’t stand being left out or not being able to do anything. She is driven by her want to get stronger, but she often forgets her own limits and ends up in bedrest because of that. Sanyu is also known to be the one to blow things out of proportions for a good story. She really almost believes her own stories, too. You want her to be your friend rather than your foe, that’s for sure.
She already has a hero name thought out, too: Fusion Flare. She’s flashy, for sure.

Neither of them were heroes, but they had Sanyu to fill that role in their family, putting all the pressure on her. They convinced Sanyu that her quirk was super powerful, more powerful than it truly is, which made her as cocky as she is today. Sanyu's parents really weren't that great, either. Sanyu's whole life growing up was of them coaching her to become a hero to make their family famous. Their family was poor, however, and didn’t really have the resources to send Sanyu to a good hero school.

  “‘Cus I’m the best, obviously. Well. My parent’s really want me to become a hero. It’s my duty to become a hero. That's what they want, and that's what my destiny is, too. I will become a hero to bring honor to my family and to show everyone it's not about your background, it's about the power you have.”

  “The kind that kicks ass and gets fame and recognition. And of course, I want to help people.”

  “Bold. The best. Fair. Funny. Resilient... Wait, did you say sentences? Well... I'm pretty confident. I can't stand people who cheat, and I have a super great sense of humour. I strive to make my quirk stronger every day, too. My quirk gives me the ability to heat things up. There are no fire included, but the nature of my quirk makes it much more flexible to use than mere flames.”
• What are you interests and hobbies?
  “I like to play ‘floor is lava’ with my friends. My quirk is perfect for that and other everyday stuff. I also like to bake on my free time. I’m quite good at it, if I say so myself. I like all sorts of competitions and training. I play games a lot to get into the mood.
• Are there any notable accomplishments you want to us to be aware of?
  “Yes! I fought this villain when I was little and got this cool scar from it. I won, obviously.” (She’s lying; got the scar after falling from a tree. Never fought a villain.) "I've won many playground fights, too. My quirk is perfect for taking on multiple opponents at once."
• Tell us something about your quirk that most might not know? Any events or memories, be it joyous or ill, tied to it?
  “I love heating up my green tea with my quirk. It’s so handy, and also my tea never gets cold. And I guess there was that one time when I got really mad and accidentally melted the floor I was standing on. I passed out after, so I don’t remember much of it. You might not know that I can melt stuff with my touch. It's something that I need to focus on really hard to do, but if I get the right training, it can be a real good move. At the moment the area of my quirk is relatively small, but if I get really worked up, I can extend it to mid-range lengths. It can be used both offensively and defensively, and it can be used in super creative ways.”
• Why should we consider you over the other applicants? What can you offer that they cannot?
  “Because I’m the best, that’s why. I clearly have the superior quirk and I could totally apply to any academy I wanted to and get in just like that. So I’m the perfect choice for you. I'm bold, determined and never give up. I will bring good publicity to your school by becoming a professional hero who studied here.”

  Shiori is actually Sanyu's first name, Sanyu being her last name. Everyone calls her Sanyu though, mostly because that's what her parents also call her.

I came up with a cool (if not a lil useless) idea for a quirk and now I want to make a second character... I understand that's probably not possible though, as the slots are limited and it wouldn't be fair.
