,Indeed. Besides, Collabs are a convenience not a needed thing.
Stephen Avarian

Stephen waited a few seconds after Matthias had started talking to him to respond. He was observing Sylvia's heat signature walk away. After she'd reached a decent distance he chuckled. "Yeah, well honestly it wasn't anything personal. You see Sylvia is someone that likes to have fun because her life is easy, and honestly I just wanted to ruin it for her. I'll take you at your word though, I don't need proof, in fact if you can do what you claim you'd be either a good partner in the fact that my abilities can't damage you, or I might just be your worst nightmare since they might end up torturing you." He smiled kindly. "My deepest apologies though." This whole time that Mattias had been looking at his eye though not once has Stephen looked back into his, it wasn't anything personal, he just couldn't see so he didn't bother, but now he decided to lift his head a bit and looked back at Matthias for the common respect.

Deep down he had come to realize that he respected Sylvia, and hated her. Her carefree attitude about everything pissed him off. As long as her life was just fine then the whole world was perfect. If he ever had the chance to, he would love to crush the false reality she seemed to put herself in. As for Matthias he wasn't sure yet. The guy had been a victim of Stephen ruining Sylvia's fun so hopefully the guy didn't take it too personally. He'd much rather make a new friend then yet another enemy. Finally though Stephen sat down to eat while he listened to Matthias.

Stephen smiled almost sympathetically. First he turned his head toward Matthias. "Actually depending on the circumstances I would have no trouble allowing myself to be injured, though you are correct that this is a ridiculous time that no one would actually expect it to happen. The true question in my mind is how would you react." He let out a slight chuckle. The fact that this guy thought that he was some kind of sadist made him laugh a little, whether he was serious or not.

Then he look back down at Sylvia and his smile dropped. "Please. You are the one who has fun with it, I see it as an opportunity to learn something new about this guy. Normally I'd just talk to him normally, but I figured I might as well take advantage of your fun and actually gain something from it." He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "If one doesn't learn all they can then the unknown can become their undoing..." At this point Stephen just trailed off into though for a moment. "In any case, sorry to ruin your fun Sylvia." He remained standing there and began to eat a little more of his food.
Well had to rush it a little since I'm getting ready for classes today so hope it's up to advanced standards! (Haven't done advanced since the old guild...)
Well at least Sylvia the same. As for this guy being a regenerator? He had to stop himself from grinning darkly. Especially since he could still feel pain. That means while he would keep healing, he would constantly be in extreme pain if Stephen were to try and burn him alive with his thermal energy, of course he would have to blind himself and probably more to do that, but would this guy be able to breathe easily enough under the extreme heat conditions? The questions he had would probably never be answered because of the staff watching over in the arena, and so far this guy didn't seem like the kind of guy that would be fighting outside unless forced to.

"You're scared of being hurt...?" That was a reasonable point, but if it would just grow back then what's the problem? It's not like he was being tortured. Once it grew back wouldn't the pain be gone because nothing was wrong with him anymore? Of course on the flip side of that coin how fast could he regenerate his body parts? He too was interested in whether this guy could regenerate, and if so how fast. "Would you rather stab an internal organ, or perhaps slit your throat instead? It's rare to see such things." At this point though he was purely just trying to figure out how far this guy could go.

Yeah, could you go a little bit more in detail about her power? She can just make anything shatter (No matter the hardness) with no effort, or, what? Sorry for the hassle.

At least it's not as difficult as it was for me :p Which reminds me I need to finish up that second character while I wait for a response ^_^ Didn't see anything on relations for Sylvia on Stephen so I figured might as well give it a shot! Plus gotta love messing with the new guy :p

Stephen shot up in bed his eyes wide open, not that he could see with them anyway, and breathing heavily. It had been what now? Two months since the incident? Why wouldn't these nightmares just go away, he hated reliving the moment several times a week. He slid out of bed and went into the shower about thirty minutes before the siren went off and let the warm water relax him and also hid the tears he had running down his face. He suddenly punched the wall in frustration, luckily not breaking it because he knew better than to allow himself to do that, plus he didn't want to damage his hand before the arena tonight.

Once he got out of the shower the Siren was going off right as he put on his last second glove. "Well...Guess I can't hide from everyone else forever..." He mused to himself. He wasn't quite ready though, instead he opened his window to feel the fresh air and watched as the temperature fluctuated and changed from the difference and smiled. Once he'd taken that in he pulled out his violin and just played for a little bit. Finally though he decided he should get food into his system before waiting too long. He grabbed a couple of pop tarts to eat on the way down to the cafeteria and off he went.

Once in the cafeteria he could see all the different signatures, a few of which were getting slightly heated every now and then which always amused him. He grabbed what he needed to make three big breakfast burritos. On top of this he grabbed three bottles of water putting the two extras in his cargo pants and decided who he'd go interact with for once. The problem with his sight was he couldn't tell who was who. It was all just heat signatures. He could tell figure and know if they were male or female based on shape but that's about it. Then he heard it. The familiar and loving voice of Sylvia. Stephen just smirked as he walked up as the guy slammed the table. "Easy there. Don't want to get yourself hurt now, that would be just a true shame." He mused at the new guy. He sat his plate down next to Sylvia but remained standing and took a bite of his food before continuing. "She might look harmless to you all, but there's a reason she can act so arrogant kid.: He turned and looked at Sylia, not literally but he liked to give some people the respect of at least looking at them even if he couldn't see how they look. "You could ease up a bit though. He can't help it that he's beneath you're ability." Stephen knew that most of the returning students didn't care for him. They viewed him as sadistic and cruel. So he didn't care for too many people and last year got caught up with the less than stellar activities so he didn't socialize that much last year, but things were different now, and as far as Sylvia went she was definitely someone who deserved his respect with her skill in the arena. The question was would she e as good in non arena fights where no one had to hold back? He believed she'd do fine but hadn't seen it as of yet. Stephen just smirked his hair barely parting for Sylvia to see part of his left eye.
Sorry guys, meant to post last night but had something come up and I passed out comforting a friend...I'll catch up and adjust my half finished post accordingly!
Stephen equals so un appreciated so far XD
Cody smirked as the pair had finally reached cover and quickly reloaded his rifle preparing to do further damage if need be, but then he heard the Al'Kesh. He chuckled to himself. "Well Lieutenant, looks like you got lucky." He softly said. He instantly began quickly putting everything back in the case and pulled out his hand gun and began to leave the building. He'd turned his radio back on as he left the building to check on the status of things, and then he heard the lieutenant requesting air support on the sniper. He'd have to put faith in Williams to delay that until he got away or perhaps he could just radio in to his lovely Israeli friend that Williams had ordered him to watch their back and that he'd taken out the sniper. Nah once she found out he was a sniper himself she'd probably suspect him. He'd finally gotten behind and around the ground team and was pretty sure he'd found where the Al'Kesh had landed, but he already heard it moving again, but where? The snow didn't lie, the ship was definitely here at some point not too long ago, but now what could he do? He listened to the sound and grit his teeth in frustration as he thought out his options.
