I probably shouldn't call the mummy "Khamen Rider."
The idea for teleportation was that he could warp to any unoccupied space within 50 feet of himself.

As for immortality, he's died before (5000 years ago) and come back as a mummy. The "resurrection" bit was more that if he's killed by conventional means- dismemberment, injury, gunshots, weapons, etc.- that he'd come back at sunset. He can still be permanently killed by destroying his body or sarcophagus (both closely guarded secrets) and can only resurrect once a week.
Well, immortality was meant to be that he'd return from being dead. He can still be killed, but he'll come back at sunset (measured by local time zones) in his sarcophagus.
I'll reserve immortality and teleportation. The character I have in mind is a living mummy who is incredibly paranoid.
Well, I'm gonna go ahead and stake my claim on Castlevania PoR's subweapon system.

...Now for the rest of the character.
Honestly, given that the alternative is that I will eventually be forced to interact with a psychotic octopus I'm having trouble maintaining interest for this game. Which is a shame, since I've been on board throughout the first version of it.

  • Name: Waldo Mull

  • Age: 25

  • Appearance: Oh lord this part. Normally, a 25-year old man of eastern European descent with brown hair, green eyes, and old clothes people bring into his pawn shop in the Bronx. Transformed.

  • Abilities: Out of costume, he can tell you the precise cash value of seemingly random things, a skill cultivated by owning a pawn shop that's been in his family for quite some time.

  • Rider Powers: This covers different forms your character might have, as well as things like Core Medals, Astroswitches and Wizard Rings.

  • The Advent Deck, a collection of cards which allows him to transform by holding it to a mirror and shouting "Kamen Rider."

  • Junk Visor, a wrist-mounted device which allows him to use his Advent Deck.

  • Rider Machine: A two-tone (half red, half silver) Honda Z in something resembling working condition. He has a Rider Machine, but thinks it looks stupid.
[*]Personality: Thoroughly jaded by crazy people up and down the streets of his neighborhood, he's heard conspiracy theories about everything from men in fancy suits fighting aliens to a prince from another world with a talking motorcycle fighting an alien army on earth. Frankly, it takes a lot to get him to believe in the supernatural. While he loves money, he's not the kind of guy to get into illegal activities, and generally tries to do right by others. However, he's also a tightwad, preferring to use things from his shop rather than going out to buy them.

  • Backstory: The great-grandson of a Transylvanian couple who Immigrated to the US in the 1900's, Waldo inherited a pawn shop in New York from his father. He's been running it for a few years now, so he's used to having a lot of useless junk coming in and out of the shop. When a man came into the shop carrying a strange box, acting rather terrified, and asking what he could get for it and the cards inside, Waldo merely shrugged and gave the man ten bucks for it. Taking the money and thanking him, the man ran out of the store giggling with glee. As he placed it on the shelf behind the counter, however, the mirror- which he used to keep an eye on customers while retrieving things from the shelf- began to ripple. Confused, he poked it, and fell through into another world, where he was forced into strange armor and attacked by what seemed to be a giant anthropomorphic cockroach. Grabbing the nearest thing he could (a card from the box) and holding it up in an effort to fight the roach in the strange imitation of his store, the roach was sucked in and left its image on the card along with the word "DOCKROACH." Since then, he's received numerous crank calls about monsters popping out of the mirror, disappearances in California, and job offers from the same guy claiming to fill a hundred different occupations offering a thousand different things. He mostly ignores them, using the deck to fight off thieves in the neighborhood and avoid traffic and bus fare by traveling in the world behind the mirrors, while experimenting with the deck's power- so far he's figured out that he can combine Dock Roach with a gun, motorcycle engine, and riot shield.

However, the most recent of these job requests came with an address. An address where he believes he will be able to track down and beat the crap out of the crank caller. So what if it's in Japan, he'll just go through the mirrors. It's payback time.

    Monster:

    Name: Dockroach
    Age: ?
Appearance: Dock Roach takes the form of a four-foot tall bipedal cockroach, with spines coming out the back of its legs and arms, and dangling antennae. Each of its forms alters its appearance and abilities.
Abilities: Dockroach is Waldo's Mirror Monster, enabling him to transform into Endure. However, Dockroach itself is fairly weak, but grants an endless supply of Contract cards and Unite Vents, part of its true power- absorbing objects to assume new forms.
Combat Forms: Glockroach (fingers replaced by guns, antennae move over its face to form a crosshair), Blockroach (large, bulky, with thick chitin plates), and Machroach (antennae, hairs, and spines on its body replaced by exhaust pipes).
Personality & Bacstory: I'm a bit shaky on Mirror Monsters and sentience.
    Name: Hoshino Keiji

    Age: 53

    Gender: Male

    Species: Human

    Alignment: Heroic Mentor

Appearance: "Well now, little bird, what's your name?"

Powers and Abilities: He's an experienced martial artist, and knows how to create incredibly grueling training regiments from everyday tasks. He also has a surprising affinity for animals.

Personality: Keiji does his best to ensure Mushuro grows up strong, but he seems to be a bit overzealous. This is mostly because all he sees of his grandson is a lot of crying, and he refuses to let someone he loves go through life with teary eyes.

Biography: The grandfather of Mushuro, Keiji took him in after his son and daughter in law got called on business a few years ago. The two stay very busy, and thus are seldom able to see their son, but Keiji takes good care of the crybaby and does his best to toughen him up in his dojo. Because of his way with animals, it has become the town's unofficial animal shelter. Before coming to run the family dojo, his family say he worked as a policeman, though the local department doesn't have any record of such.

Void, I'll PM you about the thing tomorrow.
Cake. I have an honest question.

Did you read anything in the OP-or this whole thread- aside from the character sheet?
John sighed, pulling up another one of the strange figurines out of the soil as he continued leading the young boy to the hotel. The parrots had long since returned to the trees, John having run out of raisins. He looked over his shoulder to August.

"I've been finding these toys all over the jungle. Are they yours? They've all got this weird... symbol on the foot. Well, the train's is at the front, but same sym- oh hey."

Soon enough, they broke through the jungle and ended up on a road leading back to the museum and the hotel.
