Waldo Mull was positively giddy. He'd been getting crank calls from General Xaviax, Lord of Ventara, Corporal Wilkins with Combat Logistics, and god knows what he was claiming to be or offer this week. But the latest prank had included an address where they could be found, as well as actual documentation that someone owned the building. Somewhere in this building, here in Japan, there was a man asking for a swift kick in the teeth. Or maybe a riot shield to the face. Or to lose his kneecaps. The point was, after so many phone calls at three in the morning, during business hours, and at dinner he was sick of it. He turned the Advent Deck over in his hands and nodded as he headed towards the apartments.
I've actually got finals this week- I'd say by now he'd forfeit the match by not showing up.
*hand*

This is ridiculous.
[list]
  • Name: Waldo Mull

  • Age: 25

  • Appearance: Oh lord this part. Normally, a 25-year old man of eastern European descent with brown hair, green eyes, and old clothes people bring into his pawn shop in the Bronx. Transformed.

  • Abilities: Out of costume, he can tell you the precise cash value of seemingly random things, a skill cultivated by owning a pawn shop that's been in his family for quite some time.

  • Rider Powers: This covers different forms your character might have, as well as things like Core Medals, Astroswitches and Wizard Rings.

  • The Advent Deck, a collection of cards which allows him to transform by holding it to a mirror and shouting "Kamen Rider."

  • Junk Visor, a wrist-mounted device which allows him to use his Advent Deck.

  • Rider Machine: A two-tone (half red, half silver) Honda Z in something resembling working condition. He has a Rider Machine, but thinks it looks stupid.
[*]Personality: Thoroughly jaded by crazy people up and down the streets of his neighborhood, he's heard conspiracy theories about everything from men in fancy suits fighting aliens to a prince from another world with a talking motorcycle fighting an alien army on earth. Frankly, it takes a lot to get him to believe in the supernatural. While he loves money, he's not the kind of guy to get into illegal activities, and generally tries to do right by others. However, he's also a tightwad, preferring to use things from his shop rather than going out to buy them.

  • Backstory: The great-grandson of a Transylvanian couple who Immigrated to the US in the 1900's, Waldo inherited a pawn shop in New York from his father. He's been running it for a few years now, so he's used to having a lot of useless junk coming in and out of the shop. When a man came into the shop carrying a strange box, acting rather terrified, and asking what he could get for it and the cards inside, Waldo merely shrugged and gave the man ten bucks for it. Taking the money and thanking him, the man ran out of the store giggling with glee. As he placed it on the shelf behind the counter, however, the mirror- which he used to keep an eye on customers while retrieving things from the shelf- began to ripple. Confused, he poked it, and fell through into another world, where he was forced into strange armor and attacked by what seemed to be a giant anthropomorphic cockroach. Grabbing the nearest thing he could (a card from the box) and holding it up in an effort to fight the roach in the strange imitation of his store, the roach was sucked in and left its image on the card along with the word "DOCKROACH." Since then, he's received numerous crank calls about monsters popping out of the mirror, disappearances in California, and job offers from the same guy claiming to fill a hundred different occupations offering a thousand different things. He mostly ignores them, using the deck to fight off thieves in the neighborhood and avoid traffic and bus fare by traveling in the world behind the mirrors, while experimenting with the deck's power- so far he's figured out that he can combine Dock Roach with a gun, motorcycle engine, and riot shield.

However, the most recent of these job requests came with an address. An address where he believes he will be able to track down and beat the crap out of the crank caller. So what if it's in Japan, he'll just go through the mirrors. It's payback time.

    Monster:

    Name: Dockroach
    Age: ?
Appearance: Dock Roach takes the form of a four-foot tall bipedal cockroach, with spines coming out the back of its legs and arms, and dangling antennae. Each of its forms alters its appearance and abilities.
Abilities: Dockroach is Waldo's Mirror Monster, enabling him to transform into Endure. However, Dockroach itself is fairly weak, but grants an endless supply of Contract cards and Unite Vents, part of its true power- absorbing objects to assume new forms.
Combat Forms: Glockroach (fingers replaced by guns, antennae move over its face to form a crosshair), Blockroach (large, bulky, with thick chitin plates), and Machroach (antennae, hairs, and spines on its body replaced by exhaust pipes).
Personality & Backstory: I'm a bit shaky on Mirror Monsters and sentience.
    And for a WIP...

Name: Chief Financial Officer Ambassador Purgatory/Kamen Rider Century
    Age: 39
Appearance: Normally, he's a typical Californian wearing a three-piece suit. Almost too typical, in fact. This is because he's a member of the Ambassador family, a monster in human disguise. As Kamen Rider Century, he dons a black undersuit. The SHOCKER Lockseed summons a metal ball designed to look like the face of a Combatman, falling open to reveal a centurion's helmet and a ribcage-themed chestplate, as well as a sinister cape.
Abilities: Purgatory made CFO for a reason. He is a cutthroat businessman, with SHOCKER-brand cybernetics that grant him super strength.
Rider Powers: Using the SHOCKER Lockseed, Ambassador Hatred can transform into Kamen Rider Century. Armed with the SHOCKER Signum, he can place lockseeds on it to call soldiers. Currently, he has the SHOCKER, Dustard, and Masquerade Dopant lockseeds. However, the SHOCKER Signum isn't a very powerful weapon. It can barely scratch Riders. As such, Purgatory's Squash and Au Lait only call more mooks. But the Sparking allows him to strike with sufficient power to create a large wave of energy. It's still not very powerful, though. Naturally, he maxes out at 100.
Rider Machine: None. Uses villainous teleportation.
    Personality: TBD.
Backstory: The Ambassador family has a history with evil organizations. Ambassador Purgatory, a cousin of Ambassadors Hell and Darkness, is the CFO of one of Shocker's corporate fronts, which is in turn partially owned and funded by Foundation X, leaving him pretty unsure who's actually in charge. As he is often the one deciding which sinister organization gets funding, he expects to see where his money is going. Seeing a lack of results from the Yggdrasil Corporation, he headed to the corporate offices in Tokyo to meet up with one of their representatives to see what the holdup was. After an apology from a lab tech, he was given a belt and a series of Locks as thanks for his patience with their work. He figures, as long as he's in the neighborhood, he should at least lend a hand flushing out Organization Y. The sooner they get this operation wrapped up, the sooner funding gets freed up.
    Decklist

And there's the decklist. Hope having stuff like Zero Force in there isn't too broken.
Dimension Door, Fortress Warrior, Clock Tower Prison.
I play Spandexmen Dimension Police whenever I cardfight.

Yugioh, mostly stall decks designed to make my enemy have a heart attack.

    Dr. Morbius, obviously.

    Name: Clark Doshman

    Age: 24

    Gender: Male

Personality: Clark loves him some money. This is mostly because Duel Arcades have high maintenance costs, and emergency cash is always useful. He's not greedy, though, and will only take honest money for honest work. He owns the Duel Arcade "Ghoul's Night Out," offering duels in a horror movie atmosphere. He's fairly friendly, if a bit thick, and has a thorough knowledge of holographic technology and mathematics.

Brief Bio: (two to four paragraphs here)
The Doshman family is thrifty. They buy used clothing, grow vegetables in their garden, bought solar panels to save on energy costs, and always look at the long-term costs for anything in hopes to send their kids off to college. However, they also acknowledge how profitable Duel Monsters is. Which is why they were glad when Clark, their rather dim son, went for a career in hologram technology and opened his duel arcade. The father made his modest fortune after a win in a minor tournament and a few wise investments, which is why the family lives in the Sapphire District, which leads to occasional visits and many phone calls.

Clark, on the other hand, lives in the Topaz district. He earned the money to open his duel arcade by repairing and helping to build the setups for the stadium and nearby arcades. Because of the strict maintenance he puts in to his arcade, he lives in a few rooms in the basement, often making new decks for the Duelbots. His deck, though, was chosen because he thought the monsters were cute.

    Deck Type: Unlivestock

    Key Card: Zombarnyard, Unlivestock Abottoir

Known Cards: Quack-O-Lantern, Ghoul MacDonald, Zombeef

    Spirit Partner: Bansheep

NOTE: Everything past here is just for fun, but feel free to do them if you want.

Behold, my archetype- THE UNLIVESTOCK. Utilizing a banish engine and the power of farm/undead puns, they start off small. Until Ghoul McDonald hits the field, and doubles their effects.
    Helheim Forest

Cletus looked over his shoulder to the man with the... well, not a motorcycle. It was too thin. He couldn't even see the fuel tank or the engine- and where was the microfusion generator? He went back to chewing on the kebab.

"Like I said to the raiders, you want food, take a seat. I'd stay away from the fruit here though. You want trouble, aff-"

And then the sonic boom overhead. In the blink of an eye, he had stood up, moving his foot up and launching his plasma defender out of his boot, heading over to his pack.

"Mind covering me while I get some armor on? I think we got aliens."
