I'm interested
I'm interested and I could swing either way in terms of time setting.
Yargh, maybe we should start and hope for more people.
Oh, that sounds really interesting! If I'm not too late. Although I might need to get some research done.
Thank you for the support and accepted.
ahh bump
Tracy let out a long sigh and got out her notebook, whispering at Phillip that he should do the same.
"But I'm not going to take notes," he complained softly. "The teacher talks too fast."
"Pretend to take notes," hissed Tracy. "Like last year. Write gibberish, I don't care. Just look like you're going to be working." She leaned back tiredly when she was satisfied that Phillip had gotten the message. Sometimes she had to repeat things to him.
Phillip looked warily around the classroom, not keeping his eyes on anyone for more than a second; he certainly didn't want to risk making eye contact with anyone. It made him feel vulnerable. He looked back at his blank paper and started writing a recap of every major thing that happened on the Apollo 13 mission.
Dione leaped out of the side of the tree away from all the people, not noticing that in a nearby, hollowed-out tree there was a child. All these people and a child? She stared through the mask at the youthful face, then put a finger to her mask's gaping maw and moved away.
So if anyone's seen Fantastic Voyage, it's basically about a crew getting shrunk and traveling through a man's bloodstream, so they can repair a blood clot in his brain because he has information that only he knows and the government needs. There's an accompanied book by Isaac Asimov, it's pretty good!
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a roleplay based off of it. I think it would be with OC's rather than the same characters from the movie, but I was thinking it could at least loosely follow the plot.
Dione, of course, wasn't going to answer and give away her location. She turned her head to watch yet another stranger through the gently-swaying leaves. Behind her mask, she pursed her lips and turned pale. It seemed that, judging by the weapons some of the people carried, she was horribly outmatched. Her darts could kill small animals--and she usually needed to slit their throats to make sure they were dead. What would they do to a human? Leave a deep, nasty wound that might get infected, but they wouldn't win a battle. Still, if she stayed hidden, maybe she would have a chance.
