Hello, looking for a few private RPs, mostly original fantasy.
I have a few simple requirements of my RP partners:
1.) I'm 24, and only write against adults 18+.
2.) I'm a woman IRL, but I write male and female characters. I am het, slash and femslash friendly. I love a dash of romance to keep things exciting, and tension between characters is fun to explore, but RPs focused on romance alone bore me to tears. I like the RP to focus on an engaging plot line, with the occasional romantic scene. I am perfectly fine fading to black or writing smut. Kinks/limits can be discussed more in private.
3.) I dislike using the 'casual' and 'advanced' labels. I prefer posts that give me something to work off, and help move the RP along, no matter their length. Typically, my replies are 2+ paragraphs, but they can be considerably longer or shorter depending on how much description the scene requires.
4.) I only write over email, threads or PMs. Once we become comfortable, I don't mind chatting OOC over messenger to discuss plots or even more personal things, but I dislike RPing over messenger.
5.) My schedule is rather flexible at the moment, so I'm able to reply frequently throughout the day, but once I'm employed I'll be less free to post. I am typically able to reply at least once a day, and prefer partners who can do the same, but as long as I get something back at least three times a week, I'm satisfied. Of course, RL takes precedence and I'm as chill and laidback as they come if you need a break, or simply don't like where the RP is going. Just tell me.
Ideas/Plotlines
1.) The Lost Dragons.I crave a high fantasy RP set in a world/culture similar to Imperial China. Because the RP is fantastical and not set in the real world, only minimal research is required. I don't mind GMing the main plot line. The RP would incorporate Chinese mythology and folklore, especially Chinese dragons, who are different from the Western version, and control water/shapeshift into human form/breathe the essence of life instead of water. I had an idea where the world has suffered from a great flood and experiened crippling poverty and famine. The people believe dragons have abandoned them as guardian spirits and are now demons who seek to destroy humanity. A human girl has the gift to see dragons (and other spirits/deities) in their other forms, and encounters a dragon disguised as a human. For whatever reason, she and the dragon decide to journey together to find other lost dragons, heal the flooding world, and banish malevolent spirits.
2.) Goddess of War. A present day urban fantasy. A young woman, could still be a high school student or in college, discovers she is one of the aspects of The Morrigan, the triple goddess Celtic deity of war. Two other aspects exist, and if they find each other and form the triple goddess, their power could be devastating enough to tear the fabric of the world apart, and open the portals to hellish fairy Otherworlds. The Winter Court thirsts for sovereignty over humanity like the Tuatha de Danann of old, and seeks to unite The Morrigan's aspects to end earth as we know it, while the Summer Court is seemingly more benevolent to the mortal world (for their own selfish reasons), and wishes to hunt The Morrigan's aspects to kill them, preventing the foretold apocalypse. I expect all three of her aspects to be female. There could be a wide array of characters in this. I had an idea for a Fairy Knight whose mission is to hunt The Morrigan aspect, only to become her bodyguard instead during the ongoing fairy war.

Since the formation of the gods, Hades has entangled Persephone in his dark dance, kidnapping her from the Spring of Earth with her Mother Demeter, and drawing her to his ghastly Underworld realm, where she writhes in misery until she is brought back to Earth. Over and over again, the cycle of reincarnation repeats itself, because each time Persephone returns to Demeter, the happiness of reuniting with her Mother drives her to kill herself before she must go back to the living hell of Hades. Demeter, unable to bear witnessing her daughter's cycle of pain, pleads with Zeus to relinquish their ancient bargaining over Persephone's life. Zeus tells Hades that if he cannot get Persephone to love him of her own accord, he will have to reign as God of the Underworld alone for eternity, without a Queen at his side. But can an ancient, powerful God of the Dead possibly meet the whims of an independent 21st century Persephone, who just wants to go to college and party like a normal mortal girl.
These are the main plot lines floating around my head. I'm also open to a space western (a la Cowboy Bebop and Firefly), a weird western (fantasy during the Old West), or a training facility for pyschics/gifted (deemed 'mentals' in my mind).
