Hello, lovely stranger, and welcome to my 1x1 partner search! I'm Cog, an experienced roleplayer capable of simple to advanced level roleplaying. I'm here, of course, to find a partner, and you just might be that favored one! Now, before we dive into the roleplay...

Here's what I expect!
~ A character with character! No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus from either of us!
~ I do MxF and MxM roleplays! I can play either gender.
~ Balance. I don't wanna be leading this roleplay alone, nor do I wanna push it all onto you. This is our story, so don't be afraid to add your own twists and turns!
~ No sexual stuff. There can be mentions or implications of it, but once it gets to censor-worthy material, that's a no-go. Dark and twisted themes, however, are allowed!
~ Fun! Drama! Conflict! No life is perfect, but there are perfect moments!
~ And finally, let's enjoy ourselves! Don't worry about pushing out a reply every 7 seconds or being 100% all the time. Do your best, but relax.

Concepts

Wishes for Wishes

Upon birth, everyone is assigned a star in the sky. One could admire these glittering spectacles for their awe and beauty, but they're actually much more than nature's aesthetic. Stars are the cosmic cubicles Wish-Granters! A is B's Wish-Granter, but B is a horribly optimistic person who never wishes for more than he/she already has! It's made a very boring life for A. So, A makes his/her own wish, and decides to head down to earth to break B's monstrous optimism!

Under the Cross

A is a demon who was recently captured by a small town pastor, B's father. B's father demands that A repent and torments the poor demon in the cellar of his church. B has a bad reputation around town because of the strange screams and cries that echo from his/her father's church,
so he/she takes matters into his/her own hands on late night, and sneaks into the church's cellar.

In this world, frowns are outlawed! Frowners serve a sentence of manual labor and therapy,
while smilers live their merry life away without having to ever life a finger! When A, a smiler, suddenly finds him/herself cornered by B, a rebel frowner who's determined to make everyone frown,
he/she gets dragged into a strange, dangerous underground he/she never expected from the smiling world!

From one Dream to Another: Hello Everyone!

Hello everyone!

I'm new here, but not to roleplay! I started as a child on games when I was too young to remember, and then I moved over onto roleplay forums when I was eleven. I have quite a few years of experience. New frontiers are certainly of my fancy, and that's exactly why I'm here on a new site.

So, I'll start us off with my roleplaying preferences and favors!
~ I love fantasy roleplays! Anything mundane will need some pretty captivating characters and twisty plots to keep me whole-heartedly invested.
~ Struggle, conflict, and failure are all very important things in my stories. It's no fun if everything's sunshine and rainbows.
~ From villains to people too pure for this world, I play anything except for bland!
~ I sometimes have a tendency to repeat myself, so please let me know if my writing gets repetitive.
~ Mystery is beautiful and no one is simple. I like surprising, twisty characters, and plots to match!
~ And lastly, I'm always looking for room to improve! I want to become better as a character, writer, and storyteller, and I appreciate pointers.

As a person, I'd like to say I'm chatty, but I suck at talking to people. I still try though! Gladly, I welcome any communication thrown my way and I'd love to get to know each and everyone of you, along with your characters. Forgive me if I'm a little awkward at first, though! I'm a gamer, artist, sculptor, writer, coder, and reader. I like anime, with my favorite being Hellsing Ultimate, and my favorite game is either Lollipop Chainsaw or Dragon Age: Inquisition. I also do fandom-based roleplays, but only on rare occasions.
So yeah, that's the basic rundown of me. I'm happy to meet you all, and may we weave beautiful stories together!
