I will say that my first IC post will generally be just a scene establisher for the whole thing and have little actual bearing on you people. You guys can start formulating IC posts now. All you really need to know is that a little over a year ago an explorer from the HKE (because of course it will be our GM's nation, they're special snowflakes :^) ) discovered that South Adara is just lousy with Elan and who knows what other precious resources thus kicking off the scramblerino. Some colonies may have already existed but things are now beginning in earnest.

Sorry about being the worst at this, but I've been really slow on the draw about accepting things. Everyone who has posted so far (except faze who has ran for the hills) is accepted, there may be some minor things that need work but no one has anything major enough to be a full blown denial. I appreciate the maths you have done because I love me some maths. Forcing aerial ships to go with the wind would be a rather interesting turn considering that Steamships have only just recently dethroned a need to obey the winds on the sea. Or maybe we're all just over thinking it and should consider the above link. I'm open for either route really. My inner scientist calls for the former, but my inner goofball calls for the later. In the end I throw it to the Proles to decide.
