Initial D/Touge/Street Race/Drifting RP??

Could anyone with more car knowledge than me tell me if the Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 would be a good street-racing car? I was doing a little research and liked the look of it, but don't know how practical it would be.

Hmm, not sure how that would work in the type of setting I'm thinking of. I'd say we could just set this RP in a fictional city where more car types are available, otherwise if it was set in Japan, then we'd only have JDM cars to choose from.

Ah! I was thinking that maybe we'd race for "street cred" at first, then once we actually form a team, we'd all take a cut of the big "pot" of prize money.

I like the idea of the dice rolling thing to decide on a winner. And as far as money for racing goes, I never really thought about it. I'm having trouble figuring out how we'd implement that though.

I made this thread half expecting no replies, but the response I got was pretty cool. I'll move this to PM's and anybody who want's in on helping with the RP can just PM me. Once we have an actual backstory, CS, rules, etc. we can make another interest check and I'll notify everyone who showed interest on this first initial topic. Sound good? Or should it be done a different way?@JudgeApatow@Driving Park

Also, in regards to racing, I thought maybe we could race each other and be each others rivals until we decide to go ahead and make a team once more people join. I already have a bit of an idea of how this could work out in a story.

So happy to see my interest check has caught steam! I feel as if we need to try and do something with it quick though. @Driving Park Would you want to collab with a small group over pm to try and get the ball rolling on this?

@Rupdeus I like it. We could even start out with really low level cars and perhaps if everybody feels like it, we could end up upgrading said cars to take on new challenges or even letting people "purchase" a new car to keep up with higher level racers!

@Driving ParkYessssss Eurobeat!!! <3 I know what you mean though. I like circuit type racing in a city setting, but the mountain is just too sick. So obsessed with Initial D that I'm currently trying to save up and get an S13 or maybe one that already has the sileighty conversion done to it.

@DrewVonAwesomeAre you cool with this being a more mountain/city type setting with cheaper more attainable cars? Like the Silvia, Civic, R32, S2000, AE86, etc? If so, I think you'll have fun doing an RP with us! :D
