RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

A smile of actual happiness came over her as she almost forgot what and when she was. It was just her petting the beautiful creature infront of her. Eventually that moment faded a bit and she once again became a 300 year old vampiress petting a warm mortal creature. Still, for her, it was a wonderful thing. "When you say 'use with supernatural creatures..' what is it that you mean?" she paused, "Do you mean using for...a therapy...sort of situation?"

She continued stroking the animal slowly, occasionally offering pats. After a while she closed her eyes too. Things were foggy for her now, but she could still get some of those memories to play for her. There were memories of days at the stables, the energy of riding, and the feeling of wind stinging her eyes. Slowly, she brought herself back, opening her eyes. She found that she was smiling a bit, and that she missed more than she had ever thought she had. "it's been 300 years, Bessie...it's too bad there aren't more like you,..you know?" she muttered quietly to the animal.
She smiled at Connor, glad that his risky attempt had worked. Though she was unsure of the next step in his plan, keeping an angry ghost in the house, she remained quiet about it- trusting the hunter to at his job.

Mentioning the horse before running off, Elizabeth looked at Bessie with a mild form of confusion, "you...like vampires?" she asked the animal. She knew that it wouldn't speak back, but she had loved horses as a human and hadn't dared to get up close and personal with one since her turning. Quietly making her way over to the animal, she reached out to soothe her, keeping her voice quiet as he continued speaking. "Such a strange animal...vampires are predators you know...and we're not above hunting your kind either..." she paused as she stroked the animals neck, feeling the familiar fur under her fingertips and palms. "vampire horses...they must exist...but it sounds silly, no?"
so uh i's quite a bit shorter than yours but i'm not really used to long posts anymore :P It'll take some getting used to X3
Talon snapped awake at the familiar pinging sound. He groaned as he gave his laptop on the desk the stink eye. He was pretty sure he had turned that sucker off before snoozing. A quick glance at his alarm clock told him that he hadn't gotten his full 8 hours. Another groan escaped him and he rolled out of bed, grabbing his shirt from last night and slipping it back on. Clicking the mouse, he was immediately informed of why his computer hadn't shut down. He had gotten new updates overnight and it restarted itself.

Raising his eyebrow at the blinking orange box, he decided to ignore the new message - at least until he had breakfast.

Could it be important? Yea, sure it could. But, he reasoned with himself, he would be good to no one with little sleep and no food. With that, he took off down the stairs and into the kitchen. His dad looked up from the newspaper as the teenager ran to the fruit bowl and grabbed an apple. "Good Morning."

Talon recognized the slightly disapproving tone in the man's voice and looked up at the clock as he bit into the fruit. It was afternoon, and his old man preferred that Talon started his day during the morning hours- something he cites as being 'normal'

"Sorry dad, I overslept." he said, shrugging.

For now, he would ignore his guardian and search through the kitchen. Drawers opened and closed, until finally he chose a granola bar, a bottle of water, and some water-flavoring. Yea, his dad also liked him having a 'normal' breakfast but Talon had an instant message to return to. Finishing up the apple, and tossing the core into the garbage, He gathered his other food items and trudged back up to his room. Maybe later he and his dad could do something to ease the mood a bit...

The thought faded though as he neared his laptop. Tossing the water and water flavor onto his bed, He swiveled his chair out and pulled up the chat window. He almost started eating again but stopped and frowned slightly as he read the message.

Setting the granola bar down, his fingers ran over the keyboard in quick practiced strokes as her responded to her with some concern, "Yea? What's up? Bad morning...er...afternoon?"
Jake had long since fallen asleep to the sound of repeated tapping and digging, but he jolted awake when the sound changed to one of something moving near him. Studying the area that he had heard the digging sound, he found a bit of paper poking out of the wall and tugged it gently until it came through.

"Ok got it.."

Carefully, he unfolded it and looked over the text.
Somehow, Connor's smile wasn't really all that assuring...but the fact that her singing lullabies seems to have a more soothing effect than talking was became her assurance. She remained calm-ish and safe for the entire time Connor was away, and probably could have kept going for as long as he needed. Regardless of how long she could have kept it going though, he did return. Elizabeth kept singing even as he starting to speak hi latin...fading away a bit as he finished his spell and trapped Jacob in that spot.

She smiled a little at the young hunter, impressed by his latin skills, but not really coming out right to say it.
'So..you've trapped the ghost.." she said quietly, looking over at agitated Jacob, "What do you plan now?"
this ok?
Behind him, Elizabeth flinched more than Connor had. At this point now, she was going to stop talking to the boy-ghost man. It hadn't really gotten her anywhere except being threatened with possession, which she decidedly was against. She tensed more and more and almost outright protested when he stepped away from her to reinforce the barrier, but it was a heck of a lot better than running the risk of the circle being broken and having her body snatched from her.

However it seemed that connor had taken control of the situation when he started singing, surpising Elizabeth when the ghost went along with the song. Looking over at him as he asked for a lullabye, her mind went over many examples, being old and all she knew plenty. After a period of arguing with herself, she decided she couldn't waste anymore time out of fear of the ghost acting up again.

"...A gentle breeze from Hushabye Mountain
Softly blows o'er Lullaby Bay
It Fills the sails of boats that are waiting
Waiting to sail your worries away

It isn't far to Hushabye Mountain
And your boat waits down by the quay
The winds of night so softly are sighing
Soon they will fly your troubles to the sea..."
His eyes narrowed when he heard about the piece of paper and its contents, "No I didn't...maybe we were abducted. "
He looked at the wall, trying to see if there was a flaw in the build, a flaw meant that maybe she could pass the note through. "It would explain why they aren't too talkative around here....hey uh...do you see any sort of flaw in the wall or something? Maybe I could pick a hole in it."
