RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

Connor had been thinking longer than he thought. Elizabeth was already done taking her bath and was standing nearby , wiping herself down with that traveling washcloth, which actually worked very well when she took it right out of the its small, compressed packaging. Since she was right next to him, she chuckled when he asked if she would be much longer. "Just a bit. and then we can go."

She had been watching him while drying herself off, well the parts that weren't already clothed, and saw that he was thinking some rather serious things. But then, she had been too. While they were in a bit of a hurry, at least he was, she had to get him to talk now....because she wouldn't be able to trap him while in the car and he'd be too jumpy later considering how many mistakes he'd made that night already...and now this, she had gotten right up next to him without him pulling out of his thoughts. She folded up the little half-damp washrag. She still wasn't completely dry, but since when did any sort of towel get all the moisture?

"Now that we're on a talking basis again, you and I REALLY need to talk." she looked at him a bit concerned. "If I'm going to keep following you, there are of course things I need to know. "
She felt some of the heaviness between them life as he came to grip with what he duid, well kind of. She could tell that he was willing to move forward but she thought that it might be because he had no real answer. She wondered briefly aboutb why it was that he thought he had to feed her, but those thoughts weren't for now. She had business to attend to.

Yet, when she tried to attent to them, he would keep on talking...and he was right, she could hear him but only because she was what she was. She listened and thought about ever word for a moment before sighing. "If you want us to get to town faster, then maybe you should stop rambling and let me take my bath. " and was going to go after that but she stopped and looked back at him, "and don't look!"

She turned back and smiled. Did she think he was going to look? Not really. It was a possibility because he was so young but she didn't see enough of it in his character to actually have reason to suspect that he would. Truthfully, it was more to possibly get things back to normal then it was to warn him away.even so, she hoped he didn't look.

Making her point about time already, she made her way over to the lake, waded in and set her things on the dock. Soon she was slowly peeling the blood soaked garments off and dropping them into the lake's waters. She didn't need them, and keeping them around would probably make him unecessarily uncomfortable. Putting her hair up, she quietly scooped the cold water up and onto her pale skin, gently rubbing away the red staining liquid that had not been cleaned off before.
She let him do whatever he needed to. She gathered and prganized the things she needed at the moment. a change of clothes, her pills, and one of those travel washcloths. She didn't have a towel at the moment,. so she was going to have to make due. She diodn't mind, being cold and wet didn't have the same effect on her as it did for a human.

Once she was all set up, she watched him stare at the lake for a while. She imagined that he was a teenager just now knowing what it took to be a man in a harsh world...though she knew he was no longer an adolescent. Either way, she knew he had some things to sort out...even as his silence and her guilt were slowly killing her inside. It will be fine, she told herself. The worst is over now. she no longer felt the need to drink him to death. The worst they can come to now is splitting up....even if he had done it to keep her around, which she had some doubts about because he had made it clear that he would kill her if she stepped wrong....and she had practically told him that she was giving up.

Maybe he had seen hope for her and tried to get her back by feeding her himself...she wasn't sure, there were too many things that could have been running through his head, and she wasn't a psychic.

Shaking her head free of the thoughts that came to her mind, she slipped off her shoes and grabbed her things. She needed a bath...but as she went to pass him to go into the lake, he turned around and looked at her, appearing as if he was ready to talk.

"Faced your demon?" she asked quietly, not looking him in the eye directly. Technically, her fate was in his hands right now...and she knew it.
She didn't like the silence. She also didn't like the fact that even though he had done something that was so against him for her, and she had expended all of her moist towelettes to clean up- he still hadn't looked at her. He could have easily killed her when she made it clear that she couldn't hold herself together any more...but he didn't...

She spent most of the ride looking out the window, but occasionally she'd glance over at him. He'd still not have looked at her. He could have killed her, the thought would come back, but he didn't...yet somehow, she was feeling guilty about that man. not because he was a god man- she had learnt better....but because she was the reason, soemhow, for Connor to find that man in the first place. And connor wasn't stupid, he'd have known that she was going to kill him.

Another glance at him, only to find him still staring at the road again.

She was about to just give up and stare out the window for the rest of the ride to....wherever they were going. But he spoke. She eagerly perked up as he began to speak, but her eagerness waned when she realized it was just an apology for shooting her, and the uneeded explanation of where he had gotten the guy, though it gave her a minute point of satisfation to know that she had made one less horrible man on the street.

She remained silent though, watching him to see if there was a chance for him to continue speaking. But it was a long while, and she figured there wouldn't be. Then a lake came into view, and by the looks of it, there was a small park/parking lot attached where people could picnic and/or go fishing. She saw this as the perfect place to get some things done. She could clean up better and get changed, and she could deal with the mess that they were in. She needed to know what was going on inside his head because it seemed like he wanted her around, but she wouldn't be able to handle it if he was this awkward around her.

"Pull in here." she said quietly, pointing to the park/parking lot.
Her eyes grew wide when she heard the gun shot and felt the sting in her shoulder. For the split second before the blood took effect, she expected for everything to end with her turning to dust. But instead her body went limp and she found herself in his arm...looking to him for an answer.

He provided none, only apologizing and running off. Pain set in. It started in her shoulder but quickly engulfed her enitre body. She barely had time to question what it was he was apologizing for between the bouts of pain and her trying to flounder around the room. She was almost to the window when another wave of pain hit her, and her body seized and unseized several times before she just slipped into unconciousness.

When she came to it was from the sound of door opening and closing. She still felt sluggish, in pain, and slightly nausious- something she almost didn't recognize because its been so long. Looking around her, she saw a man laying on the floor but no trace of Connor. Her eyes stayed on the man, and she vaguely questioned what was going on...if connor was behind this...or even still around.

She was still sluggish when Connor's chosen victim started coming to. he too, looked around and was greatly confused. He demanded answers from Elizabeth, seeing as she was the only person around to talk to...but she just remained silent and sluggish acting so she could feel the pain and foggy-headedness receeding. She smiled to herself as he muttered something about her being useless for information but that he might use her for something else. A perfect target, no one she'd need to torture herself over trying to keep alive.

Her thirst came back in possibly the biggest wave she ever felt and even if she had been looking to hold it back, she would have failed. But her thirst washed over her and she found herself standing up and grabbing him and throwing him against the wall with a new burst of energy. Connor might even have heard the commotion and the man's screams even through the windows of the car. For a brief moment that felt long extended to her, Elizabeth was gone her body completely run on the curse and the instincts that came with it. The blood flowed freely and she partook in it just as freely- even going beyond the point where he would die of blood loss. She took all of it, shredding his body as much as she needed it until she couldn't gather any more.

When her sanity was back, she gathered the largest body parts, threw them in the tub, turned the shower on, washed her hands, left a note saying "identity theft, bitches!" in really boxy lettering and grabbed her things. Not taking the time to check for connor first, she opened the door and jumped onto the roof, landing in a low stance. Her eyes quickly adjusted and showed her what she needed to know- people were mostly still inside and someone was on the phone with their back turned towards her and...connor's car.

She jumped from the roof of the hotel and to infront of the car, seeing that connor was actually inside, she slid in and slammed the door. "drive now" she said quickly, even though she was fairly certain that she didn't have to. Her hands and objects and packages of moist towelettes went flying onto the floor of the car as she tried to clean herself up as much as possible. It would take her entire stock of towelettes.
"Torturing myself." she answered quietly, lifting him up slightly but then setting him on his feet and releasing his wrists. She took only one step back, and kept her eyes on the floor, though her face would appear to be quite sad..and truthfully...if she still had the ability to cry, she would be doing just that. Her eyes looked over at a pile, she had gathered her stuff already.

"...I'm leaving now....I'll probably kill people on my way out."

She needed to get away from him, she told herself. She was losing it, and she knew the next person she would see probably wouldn't escape her thirst alive. It was too late for her, and she should have known it. And she should also have known that a vampire can't work with a hunter. A hunters job was dangerous, so there would no doubt be blood involved. She cringed at the thought of how quickly she would devolve if so little of his blood pushed her this far.

She can't be saved, she told herself, but maybe she can save him...from herself. That is...if she can get out the door without turning right around and killing him. She sighed softly to herself, before cutting her breath off again and clenching he fists and teeth. She really did wish she could still cry.
She took a light but sharp intake at that, and felt her chest press up against his. She was going to pull away, that's what she told herself. But she found herself gently nuzzling into his neck, feeling the warmth on her face. It was comforting, in a way...to have this warm flesh to touch as much as she wanted. She even went so far as to place her lips on him, feeling his heartbeat radiate from his carotid.

But she didn't bite. Pulling herself away as she extended her fangs to do so, she stared at the spot on his neck she had just visited, how it very slightly shimmered under the light of the hotel room. Her every instinct was to bite it, to stop torturing herself. Even her throat was in pain from the intense need, though it had felt the presence of blood not too long ago. Instead she back up lightly, and gently kissed his cheek.

"Connor." she answered, also whispering. She didn't look him in the eyes, she wasn't sure what he would read if she did...but she noted that his voice was even, and not shaky at all. She briefly wondered if he really was just waiting for death...despite how alive he acted around her. Her voice wasn't as even though, how could it be, when she was trembling so much?

"What is it?"
(this post, with it's obvious Over Powering...was allowed XP)

And she was right there to meet him. As quick as any vampire, she grabbed his wrists and used them to pull his body over to the nearest wall and press him up against it. She didn't look quite insane yet but obvious to any person, this behavior is a bit off. At this close a distance he would be able to hear her inhale slightly, just as she could hear his and his heart beat. She shook her head slightly so that she could better ignore it. The point here wasn't to actually attack him...though it was tempting now that she was actually this close...but she wanted his reaction. Strange thing for a vampire that almost would have been dusted because of his reaction to her.

Regardless, she slowly pressed up closer to him, her lips almost touching his warm flesh, but she wasn't going for the spot a vampire feeds at, a couple inches down, she was right below his ear. She paused right there, her breath was still, as was the rest of her body minus the intense trembling. It was so easy...so, so easy...yet she did not...wait, she told herself...wait...

(yea a post just to get his reaction XP)
Elizabeth stopped drinking and just watched him for a moment. When she told him to talk, she was thinking about herself and her issues with her thrist...but when he began to talk, and quite quickly, she realized that it had an effect on him too, how guilty he felt, and how that talking about it might help him tto in a way. Slowly, she set the cup down on her lap, and her eyes looked him over, stopping to rest a moment of his bandaged hand. Despite not meaning to, she sniffed the air and caught the smell of his blood again. yes...it was his blood that she had smelt and been so enticed by. With that matter settled in her mind, not like it hadn't already...she tore her eyes away from the wound and looked him over again. The sight of him tore her into three different emotional responces.

One side of her thought that perhaps he would be so guilty right now that he'd be easy to manipulate and get close to...but obviously that was her worst side.

Another side, one of the two more human responses wanted to hug him and assure him that it was just a slip that anyone could make. That he should relax more and not beat himself up about it. On the flip side of her humanity, though, she knew that he had been more in his element before she had become his sort-of-partner. That it was his fault for being so lax around a vampire. That if she caudalled him, he might not learn from a mistake that could have killed either of them, and it would happen again.

She sat there, watching him in all his guilt, debating within herself how she would react. It was a big mistake, and he was so vulnerable looking that her reaction right now could make a big change between them. She looked back towards the bathroom, and then at him.

Attack...caudal...attack?

She turned back to her cup, and sighed. "Go clean your mess, first." she said finally, and though she said it quietly and not sternly at all...she knew he would probably take it that way. Unable to force herself to just sip anymore, she sucked down the rest of the cup, reveling in the feel of it going down her throat and even licking the inner rim of the cup to get the most of the taste.

Brief thoughts of an old movie about a dog and its young master flashed through her mind, but she pushed them away for consideration later.
It had been a long morning for Allendrois too. Having traveled a great distance from his village to find a place populated by the people who his ancestors used to live with and protect and mentor, he was exhausted after so many disappointments. Though, one could hardly call them disappointments. ~He never really believed in these people. The ancestors had to have forsaken them for a good reason.~ Yet, he had made a promise to his elder councilwoman...and it would have been nice to find someone worthy enough to garner his attention and respect enough for him to reveal himself. But there was no one.

He had started today with his usual pessimistic and overly critical views, skittering about and watching people prepare for their day through their windows. He looked from mothers, to fathers, to those who were single, and even to the young. It was barely into the day and he hadn't technically seen half the population yet, but his pessimism gave him need to take a break. So, acting on his more wild side, he ran about in the woods and grabbed a few bugs to snack on before finding a tree over hanging a cliff, deciding that it would be a great idea to check out the view. And it would have been a great view to any of a humanoid body, but to Allendrois in his ferret body, it was an excellent view.

That was until something, or someone, came flying almost directly at him, creating an incredibly strong gust which almost threw him out of the tree, and would have if he hadn't been at the joint where the branch met the trunk. Suddenly the gust and the source of it was gone and he was left grumbling and confused. Apparently trees weren't safe around here. Quickly climbing down, he focused his mind on his task. He didn't want to keep looking in vain for his chosen one in this town, so he would look for a shrine to his people and see what shape it was in, if they even had one.

'Not having one would almost be better than what the last village did...'he thought to himself as he ran through the woods, stopping to peek around occasionally. He had a specific task in mind, but he looked for everything - bugs, grasses, flowers, dead things, predators, puddles. He was a ferret after all. Well, ferret-like. Excluding the occasional large beetle, and tuft of grass that he'd roll around in, the rest of his exploration was pretty unremarkable. Finally, he came to what appeared to be a stone path, and he followed it to a shrine. Having found his destination, he climbed into a tree and gave the whole area a good look over.

It's better than the last one, the path appears to have been swept clear of debris...but the shrine itself didn't even get that much attention. Why even bother then? he sneered.
