Behind The Light - crawkid/megara

The blast echos through teh scrapyard, shakig the hills of metal nearby, and even damaging the sound dampening spell. Chi curled around Ash like a giant bear sized panther roley poley. She can hear his grunts and shudders as the pain from the shock wave hits him first, trying to absorb it all.

Then there is silence. The lizard man is no where to be seen, but there is tank shrapnel everywhere. Astra also had up some shields, both shadow and wind magic.

The first to speak up is Astra, "Is everyone alright?"

Then there is Jeb, who suddenly takes a few steps at a jog towards there, but seems to remember himself. Clenching his jaw he looks around the rest of the field to see if there are any follow up attacks.

Jeb grunts a quiet affirmative, but stays at the ready.

The reptilian man sighs and then smiles, "Yea. I give up."

The beeping continues in the back ground, ever so slightly speeding up as it goes. It seems like it took Chi a moment to realize something, but he suddenly runs towards the group of ash, astra, dante, and anyone else in that direction. He tries to grow larger, but he is honestly about at his limit. He just tries to make sure Ash is covered, sicne she is closer.

Suddenly, the tank bursts and explodes.

As the blast was headed for him, chi curled up in a defensive ball.

The young vampire looks up concerned, first to Ash, and then to Astra "He lives, but it's bad."

As the shadow beasts build up, Chi hisses lowly, backing up and keeping his eyes on the tank. Its a long wait, but the lid of the tank eventually pops open. One can see flashing red lights going inside it too and a beeping sound. The person that crawls out is a really skinny and scaly reptilian man. He puts his hands up slowly as he climbs to stand by the tank, but he doesnt look too worried.

Astra frowns slightly, worried about any tricks but also distracted, shuddering as some of her own shadow magic is drawn in towards Ash.

Jeb creates a magic circle and then slips his hand into a ripple in the air, pulling out two very large knives, "Gotta love a girl that can defend herself....ready to clean up?"

ok not sure if its because im tired or not, but i can understand the first example but not the second one so much

so itd be like black whip (weapon) + starshine (active) + vampires kiss (passive) = ???

Im not sure if i would have weapons be cards AND give cards?

sounds good...card hot bar, active and passive and all that stuff

Card alchemy (weapons included?)

and skyrim skill leveling, but with guns

ok, snark done with. If you want to do skyrims thing, that sounds like itd work. still give you freedom of weaponry too.

it was a thought that went through my mind, yea. but another part of my brain says that could be too complicated for a 1x1 like this

leave it up to you if you want to do that, im also thinking we might both know the basic classes available in MMOs? also what do you think of this: all in on one class, or being able to 'take levels' or something, dabble, in other clases?

of course, m fine not doing classes and have it be more fluid
