He spent a bit of time simply staring at the wall before it hit him that he had heard someone from the other side. Sighing with sore muscles- from what, he wasn't sure- but he made his way to the corner nearest where he thought the voice came from. "H-Hey. Did I hear a voice, or did my brain die from all the shots and shit?"

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!
I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.
So here are some things you need to know about me!
Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?
Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?
Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.
Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD
Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'
I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.
Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:
I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.
I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Jake floated along the green and brown landscape, watching his mom and dad herd sheep with their super long arms. He had been in and out of this weird world for so long, he was starting to forget more important things...like where he was last in the waking world, and the guys in black coats...followed by guys in white coats.
Suddenly he was torn from that magical world again, and his conciousness phased back into reality.
White walls.
As his usual headache hit him, now that he was awake, he feabily pushed himself onto his side and looked for the bottle of water- his savior. Nothing else was more important to him than the piss warm water they provided him...whoever they were. Finally locating and grabbing the bottle of water, he flopped onto his back and proceeded to down half the bottle.
With his immediate thirst satiated, he stared up at the ceiling of his cell, hardly aware that it was a cell. The little pits in each ceiling tile slowly came into focus as his mind cleared up enough to be able to form semi-coherent/complete thoughts.
"hello darkness my old friend.." he half-hummed to himself, taking a full look around now.

So I'm looking for many things...adventure...magic...romance...long term rp partners...
Rp partners can be any gender, and play any gender. It's ok if you don't want to be long term too, I just need to rp.
In the area of romance, I prefer MxF and MxM, as I am generally awkward with playing FxF
I currently have no characters to choose from, But I'm hoping as I get my RPs going, that will change alot.
and also there doesn't need to be romance in every rp, it's just that it's nice.
I don't have much of an idea or long list that i can give you...but i love to conceptualize and plot with my partners.
I like magic - fantasy/darkfantasy, elemental, ghosts/demons...
I like alternate realities - different race on top of food chain, mutants , DNA experiments
And I like to put my characters through hell, so any sort of trauma and personal pain is cool. of course..they might try to kill the source but *shrugs*
So, plop ideas around...I'll consider stuff and we can all kind of conceptualize back and forth.
