RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

It should be getting to be evening, with the sun slowly descending.

She looked at him and raised a brow. in an almost gesture of defiance of his words, she pulled out a cellphone and layed it on the table. Obviously, she had one. "The typewriter is easy. It starts when you start, types what you type, and stops when you stop. There is no strange need to find a way to turn it off when it's GOT an off button. There are no websites with their strange 'format', and there are none of these random 'updates' that change your computer without telling you how. "

Well..she knew what she was talking about at least. Somewhat. "Cellphones are easy too. They turn on and off with the same button. you get calls like a normal phone, and you talk into it like a normal phone."
She watched him as he looked down at his hands and stayed silent for a while She already knew what he was thinking, she had once had the same thoughts. Then came the talking and questions. she had forgotten what it felt like going through this process, since it's been forever since she's met a new vampire, which would usually be the kind of person asking these questions.

"Wales," she started with a smile. "And actually, until the last 30 years, I've been fairly good at adapting myself...but I stopped progressing along with everyone else once computers and internet came up. The closest thing to a computer I can operate is a calculator...and I am fine keeping it that way."

She sounded particuarily convicted on that, one could guess that she fought to understand it at some point and failed miserably.
She listened and nodded along as he spoke, the more he spoke, the more she felt that she appreciated his manners and ability to see past someone's circumstances. children of the modern age had often had her questioning where the morals of humanity was going or if it was slowly eradicating itself. But Connor gave her good solid proof that it was still here.

His question brought her back to the days she was human. The time of her being a lady with adventurous tastes, who was simultaneously looking for a man while attempting to rebel against her father. Compared to her years as a vampire, her human life went by so quickly, and she found herself wishing she had done more for them while she still could.

"A mid-summer night, much like the one you and I met one..." she started quietly, subconciously dropping back into her natural accent, "it has been in the range of 300 years..."
She looked down embarrasedly and quietly took the tee towel, "I'm afraid i'm not familair with drinking blood...in any other way than what is natural." she told him quietly as she went to sit down. The taste of blood was still in her mouth, and she savored it. Quietly, she wondered what things would be like once she got back from disappearing for these few days that he was talking about.

"Well, you could have begrudgingly housed me with no blood for the night and make me leave the next day." she said quietly, "you'll have to forgive me...but I don't really expect much from hunters except the want to kill vampires...it's odd to meet one who doesn't kill on sight."

She looked at him at that moment before sighing, "and i don't know how much i need. Sorry. I just feed as I need to. i'm your very traditional blood sucker."
If she could blush, she would have..though why she would have she wasn't sure. (he whispered into her ear ohnoez)

Curiously she followed him to the microwave, watching him. When he passed the container of warm blood to her, she appreciated it, but wasn't exactly sure how to consume it withut some sort of skin around it. after some moments of looking at it cluelessly, which would have taken up a majority of the time he was doing his own thing, she decided to drink it like a kid would drink milk from a bowl. there were few times she had been more grateful for the warm liquid sliding down her throat.

When he asked if it was better than the last bit, she couldn't answer right away but it wasn't long. she smiled, and set the empty bowl on the counter/table closest to her. She had a blood-mustache. "Yes. it is...you have been very gracious and patient with me."
Things started looking up right away, once he mentioned that there was blood. maybe it was obvious that she was either excited or no longer hiding the slowly growing need to drink, but she eagerly watched him as he went downstairs and returned with blood.

her suspicion about the herbs only glimmered for a moment before she pushed it aside and grabbed one of the packets and bit into it. The splash and taste of cold blood was both jarring and mildly unpleasent, but she didn't stop. She glanced at him, both thankful and mildly embarrassed. After looking away and back she grabbed another packet and walked towards him. She made to give him another hug, but she would try to slip the blood packet under his shirt and against his chest/abs. Maybe his body could heat it p for her.
She remained looking over the stake for the most of it, but she was listening closely. So he dealt with other non-lethal supernatural beings. At one point she looked over at the chains, and briefly wondered if he was going to offer her refuge here too...though she would never be able to accept, on account of needing blood, which was in pretty short supply out here on a farm.

At his outburst, she watched him stunned, not used to such protectiveness, and never thinking it would come from a hunter. She smiled then, put the stake down, and walked over. "Alright." she said quietly, " I will stop..." she sighed, happy for the moment, and hugged him gently. "thank you."
He stayed like that for a while, but eventually his concious mind cleared out enough. Pushing himself up, he took his first look to fully investigate the room. yeah, nothing to really investigate. "uh...yo....Liz was it?" He asked, standing up and walking over to the wall. "You still there?'
Apparently vampires could get shock too-shocking. She mumbled a thank you as he carried her to the house. Being a dead, cold thing she was already slightly warmed by his body heat. Though, hearing his heart beat from being so close was a bit of a pesky problem that required her not to think about it. She tracked when her last drink was, she didn't need it now but she was sure she'd get hungry by the end of the next night.

As she was introduced to the house, and had a look around, she became more convinced that this place was not the the best for her..in fact it may become a pain to try and live here. Her mind wrapped about there being no blood for her, and she quickly registered him as the only source of blood, but she pushed the thought away with a bit of irritation at herself. "I see..." she said quietly as she followed him, "So when i said take me home... it was irony."

It was no longer just a farm, yes, that much was was clear. She took a long sweeping look at her surroundings again, "no...it's not...." she confirmed, going over and touching one of the guns, her fingers sweeping over it. "...it's a training ground....for my execution..." she said, as if she was calmly looking into a dream.

The day is coming, she told herself, but she said nothing outloud to him.

Her eyes fell on a space stake, and she hesitated slightly, but she picked it up and looked at it to. How funny it was, that she was so weak to a piece of wood. her amusement must have effected her, because she smiled slightly.
What they probably didn't see was that the SUV crashed and took out the copcar along with it. For quite a while, she hadn't seen where he was going, only staring into the rear view mirror.

Finally, when they were hidden, and he got out..she allowed everything to just hit her. It was strange, while he was still in a frenzy, she got suddenly calm.
taking a moment to finish collecting herself, she opened the door and stepped out.

"No one followed us." she reported, finally opening the door and stepping out. however, as calm as she felt, her body wasn't quite there with her as it was unstable and shaking slightly. Her legs hadn't supported her weight and she promptly fell on her behind next to the car, enciting a surprised yelp on the way down. "I'm ok!" she assured him quickly.

This had certainly been a very eventful week so far. She wondered what would happen next, as she imagined that it could only get worst from here.
