She converses freely, actually getting a smile and talking in a cheery tone for once.
"I see that... I trust him..." I say, sizing him up.

Vanitas begins flickering again. "He's stuck in the past..." The dream version of me says. Vanitas solidifies once more, a dark aura growing on him. "Hands off my vessel." He says as large Unversed appear and begin attacking Mavis, Vanitas following up with his keyblade.

The Unversed is destroyed upon contact with Mavis, her eyes riveted on Vanitas. She sidesteps the keyblade. "Poor poor Vanitas. Reduced to a bad dream."

I smirk back. "Sure, but not just yet." I look over, exactly where Zeref and the perverted Kishin are, even though the direct view is blocked. "After all, it's no fun without some kind of chase..."
